The Emergency Call switc h(es) shall be Alpha Communications®
model SF117/2A, SF117/4A or approved equal with pull cord
operated switch, mounted on a durable ABS plastic faceplate
marked "EMERGENCY". Signaling for assistance shall only require a
short pull in any direction on the 6' nylon cord. Canc eling the c all
shall be possible only at the point of origin. Unit shall mount on
single-gang elect ric "gem" box or plaster ring. The SF117/2A the
shall have a RED 'Call-Placed' Flag Indicator which gives positive
visual assurance when a c all is placed, without t he need for any
additional power or station wiring. Pull cords without a RED 'call
placed' flag indicator shall not be ac c eptable.
The Emergency Call switc h may be used with 'stand-alone' lowvoltage emergency systems, or the AlphaEcall™ and/or QwikBUS™
series systems(s), or equivalent.
Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and
building codes.

The Alpha Communicat ions® SF117/2A Emergency Pull Switc h
features a rugged, long-life, positive- ac ting switch mounted on a
durable ABS plastic fac eplate. Signaling an emergency requires just
a short pull on the 6' long nylon cord, in any direction. T he signal
cannot be c anc eled except at t he point of origin.
The SF117/2A provides t wo c ircuits to operate 1- 2 signaling
devices, suc h as a remote annunciator lamp, and a c orridor dome
lamp. An optional model (SF117/4A) provides two additional
signaling circuits to operate additional options such as floor bell(s)
and individual apartment elec tric door openers, as required.
The SF117/2A features a rugged, long-life, positive- acting switc h
mounted on a flame retardant type ABS plastic faceplate marked
"EMERGENCY" in Black lett ering. In addition, the SF117/2A features
our 'Exclusive' RED 'CallPlaced' Flag Indicator which gives positive
visual assurance when a c all is placed, without t he need for
any additional power or station wiring.

wiring information. These switc hes are low-voltage Class II
type and should only be used for low- voltage indoor applications.
They are not suitable for wet environments.
