The interface for the Hill-Rom® SideCom® bed controls to Alpha
Communications® / T ekTone Nurse Call Systems shall be
Alpha Communicat ions® / TekTone RY351B or approved equal. T he
relay shall provide for direct interfac e t o spec ific Alpha
Communications® patient stations.

Wiring between spec ific Alpha Communications® patient stat ions
and the RY351B shall be mounted on a single gang ring size sub-
plate. T he RY351B shall provide a non-reset table "ROUTINE" call at
the nurses master st ation if the bed is unplugged.

RY351B Hill-Rom® SideCom® AdapterRY351B Hill-Rom® SideCom® Adapter

The RY351B SideCom® adapter is designed for use with the

IR311C, IR312C, IR319B and/or IR320B patient stations, and a

HILL-ROM® SideCom unit. When used with the above patient
stat ions and the HILL-ROM® SideCom® unit the RY351B adapter
will provide all the nec essary c ircuitry for a HILLROM® SideCom®
unit to cont rol all func tions normally controlled by a pillow speaker.
This includes but is not limited to nurse call and patient
communicat ions. Note: There is one RY351B SideCom® adapter
required per SideCom® unit.
