The AlphaRefuge™ 2400 Series system
Refuge Call Box(es) shall be Alpha
Communications® RCB2400SF, or approved
equal.

The RCB2400SF Refuge Call Box(es) shall be
Flush Mount type and shall be finished in
#16AWG Brushed Stainless Steel fac eplate
with a galvanized steel flush bac kbox /
housing. The RCB2400SF Refuge Call Box(es)
shall contain a built- in heavy- duty metal c all
button and Red call placed / call answered
LED.

The RCB2400SF Refuge Call Box(es) shall
have power AND battery back-up power
provided by the PWRAPC or PWRAPC112
(depending on system capacity) c entral
power supply and batt ery bac k-up unit.

The Refuge Call Box(es), shall be IBC, NFPA
and ADAAG code compliant.

Contractor shall observe all local and national
elect rical and building codes.

The Alpha Communicat ions® RCB2400SF Refuge Call Boxes are used with the

AlphaRefuge™ 2400 Series Area of Refuge system, and are Flush Mount type.

The PWRAPC or PWRAPC112 (depending on syst em capac ity) power supply unit can
provide power and batt ery bac k-up for t he RCB2400S Refuge Call Boxes.

The RCB2400SF Refuge Call Boxes come standard with a built-in heavy-duty metal call
button,and are available with an optional mushroom head c all button (add Suffix- M).

The RCB2400SF Refuge Call Boxes come standard with a built-in Red call placed / c all
answered LED.

Only one (1) PWRAPC or PWRAPC112 power supply is needed per system.
