The PoE switc h(es) shall be Alpha
Communications® AlphaTouch™ model

POES004, or approved equal. The POES004

shall be used t o connect video monitors, door
stations, cameras, master stations and ot her
compat ible IP devices to the AlphaTouch™
system.

The POES004 shall have four (4) RJ45 ports for
network Ethernet connection, and two (2) RJ45
uplink ports. The POES004 shall be a fanless
type and shall be powered by standard 120vac
elect rical power.

Contract or shall observe all local and national
elect rical and building codes, and contrac tor
shall program t he POES004 as required, for
proper syst em operation.

The Alpha Communications® POES004 4 Port PoE Ethernet
Switch is used primarily with the AlphaTouch™ IP video-intercom
systems to allow connections to video-intercom monitors, video
entry door stations, concierge/security guard master stations
and external IP cameras.

The POES004 is a 4-Port 10/100Mbps IEEE802.3af Power over
Ethernet Switch with a total of 60 watts of PoE power (up to
60W total power consumption); all 4 ports provide up to 15.4W
each. It also has two Ethernet uplink ports to allow for
communication without sacrificing any PoE ports.
