Postal Door Release Stat ion(s) shall be Alpha Communicat ions® /
TekTone model PO101S or approved equal. Station shall be surface
mountable and shall include a gasket to provide resistanc e t o
weather exposure.

Postal Door Release Stat ion(s) shall be construct ed of a rugged
extruded aluminum panel with necessary mounting hardware and a
built- in micro-switch assembly to allow for the installation of a
separately supplied USPS Postal Lock. End c aps for the panel shall
be molded of durable, flame retardant ABS plastic.

The micro-switch shall have wire leads to provide for
easy connec tion.

Stat ion(s) be supplied with tamper-resistant mounting screws,
requiring a model S1 screwdriver for installation and servicing.

Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical, building
and USPS codes and regulations.

The PO101S Postal Door Release Station provides for USPS Postal
Lock installation and microswitch control of door release device(s).
It is c onstructed of a rugged extruded aluminum panel with
durable, flame retardant ABS plastic endcaps. T he extrusion design
provides sufficient depth t o make t he panel surface mountable
with no additional housing required.

A gasket is also att ac hed to the rear surface to increase t he
stat ion's resistance to weat her exposure.
