Architects' And Engineers' SpecificationsArchitects' And Engineers' Specifications

The lamp flasher(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / TekTone
model PK612A and shall provide a pulsing 24VDC to flash the
lamps on specified Alpha Communicat ions® annunciator c ontrol
panels, master stat ions and/ or dome lamps.

The PK612A circuitry shall be housed in a rugged extruded
aluminum case. Positive screw terminals shall be provided for
installation wiring.

Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and
building codes.

The PK612A is a light-duty lamp flasher for DC use. It is designed
for emergency call annunciators or similar use where c ontinuous
operation is not expected.

The PK612A is used primarily with the AlphaEcall™ and
CM800 series emergency-call systems, and is powered by t he

PK601A (DC) power supply unit. It is also used with the
AlphaStatus™ room status system to provide emergency signaling

to the master station(s) from the SF119/2A Emergency Pull
Stat ions, and requires no additional power supply.
