The power supply shall be Alpha Communications® / TekTone
model PK601A or approved equal and shall provide 24 volts DC
power to auxiliary signaling devices used in specified Alpha
Communications® emergency-c all or other systems.

The PK601A shall be suitable for use as a DC silent door opener
adapter in spec ified Alpha Communications® apartment entranc e
systems.

The PK601A circuitry shall be housed in a rugged extruded
aluminum case. Positive screw terminals shall be provided for
installing wiring.

Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and
building codes.

PK601A DC Power SupplyPK601A DC Power Supply

The PK601A is a 24VDC power supply used to power auxiliary
signaling devices, typically used in Alpha Communicat ions®
emergency- c all or other syst ems. The unit provides a filtered 24
volt DC output rated at 1 amp.

Although specifically designed for use with emergency- call
systems, t he PK601A may also be used as a DC silent door opener
adapter in Alpha Communications® apartment entrance systems,
as well as a DC power source for other systems.

The PK601A is powered by our model SS106 (or equivalent)
transformer.
