Architects' And Engineers' Specifications
The (350VA) uninterruptable power supply shall be Alpha
Communications® PC-25 or approved equivalent, and shall provide
for continuous power in the event of voltage surges, spikes,
brownouts, blackouts, or similar power interruptions.
The power supply has rugged construction and shall include power
switc h, audible alarm indicator, line output indic ator, bat tery
output indicator, output receptac le, power c ord and AC/DC
fuses for utility power and battery protect ion. The PC-25 is used
primarily with the NC300, NC300II and HC345C series
microprocessor nurse- call and emergency-call syst ems, but c an be
used with ot her nurse-c all, emergency- call and annunc iator or
intercom systems as well.
The PC-25 shall be U.L. #42T9 listed.
PC-25 Power/Standby UPS
The Alpha Communicat ions® PC-25 (350VA) uninterruptable power
supply is primarily used with the NC300 / NC300II series and
HC345C series microprocessor based nurse/emergency call systems
and provides for uninterrupted power in the event of utility power
failures, voltage surges, spikes, brownouts and blackouts. It's
economic al cost and extremely compact size will enhance the
operation of all your NC300, NC300II and HC345C systems.
When power is interrupted, the PC-25 immediately cuts in
to provide square wave power for the system's c entral
processing equipment until an emergenc y generator is ac tivated or
power is restored. In the event of a prolonged power outage, t he
PC-25 will provide power to t he limit of its battery.
The green LED on the front panel indic ates power line output when
steady and battery output when flashing. T he unit also provides
an audible tone during bat tery output operation. Other feat ures
include output receptacles for connection of equipment , power
cord for standard 120 volt, 15 amp power circuit, AC fuses to
protect t he unit from utility power and DC fuses to protec t the
batt ery. The PC-25 is U.L. Listed (#42T9).
