ARCHITECTS' AND ENGINEERS' SPECIFICATIONS

The surface bac k box(es) shall be Alpha Communications® model

OH600S or OH601S or approved equal. They shall be made

of st eel, and painted in a Black powder coat ed epoxy finish. All
models shall be partially open in the bac k to allow for wire acc ess
and mounting.

Contract or shall observe all local and national electrical and
building codes.

The Alpha Communicat ions® models OH600S
and OH601S are surfac e mounting bac kboxes.
They are both made of st eel, painted in a Black
powder coat epoxy painted finish for durability.

They are among our most popular surfac e
mounting boxes, and are used with a variety of
intercom entry lobby panels, and remote intercom
stat ions, to allow they to be surface mounted on
the finish of a wall. Typically, wire access is from
the large opening in the rear of each box, but the
installer can drill or punch knockouts as needed,
in the field.

Theses boxes are finished on top, bottom and
both sides, and are partially open in the bac k to
allow for wire acc ess. They have inside mounting
holes to allow for mounting right to t he finished
wall surface.

They are typically used with the ES612, AM612
and AM642 series lobby entry panel stations, but
can be used with other stations as well. The

OH600S can also be used with the IR150SS area of

rescue assistanc e remote station(s), when mounted horizontally.
