The power supply unit(s) shall be Alpha
Communications® / Golmar model FA- PLUS, or
approved equal. The FA-PLUS shall be built into
a rugged high impact ABS plastic case, and shall
be powered by a standard 110VAC elec trical
outlet. Contractor shall furnish the proper
number of FA- PLUS units, depending upon
system c apacity.

Low voltage wiring shall be used and positive
screw terminal and plug-in connectors shall be
provided for installation wiring. The F A-PLUS
shall be mountable right to t he surfac e of the
wall or in a cust omer supplied junct ion box
cabinet.

Contractor shall observe all local and national
elect rical and building codes.

The Alpha Communicat ions® / Golmar FA-PLUS power supply unit is used only with
the PLATEA and/or SZENA series intercom and/or video-intercom systems. T he FA-

PLUS provides t he intelligent circuitry needed to c ontrol the video-interc om syst em

funct ions.

Each FA-PLUS gets its power from a standard 110VAC plug-in electrical connection.
All FA-PLUS field connect ions are positive screw terminal t ype, or plug-in type.

Each PLATEA and/or SZENA series syst em requires a minimum of one F A-PLUS
power supply unit.
