The Alpha Communications® alphaBlueLight™ CS Series 3-Foot Call Stations are an ideal solution for walkways, hiking trails, parks, open areas, c ollege campuses, parking facilities, shopping malls, healthcare fac ilities and corporate campuses.
At 3™ tall, these st ations are a crime deterrent and c reate a sense of security. The stat ion can serve multiple purposes by providing people with an emergency phone and security professionals with visual and audio capabilities in the area. Optional camera and mass notification options are available to enhance t he safety of your facilities, your staff, your residents and guests.
These stations are designed to surface mount right on a finished wall surface, however if pole mounting is required, please add t he model# ABLPMBCS aluminum pole mounting bracket.

NOTE: All CS models shown are powered by Solar Panels and are finished in White powder coat paint with Blue lettering and graphics. Use 85W models for areas that get a lot of daily sun and 130W models for areas t hat do not get a lot of daily sun.

When would a Cellular solution be appropriate? It is a good solution when running cabling for landline or VoIP is cost prohibitive. T he c ellular option is most commonly used with an emergency phone which is using solar power. This allows the emergency phone to be locat ed in remote locat ions.
The cellular emergency phones are available in the two most c ommon c ellular tec hnologies used in North America, GSM and CDMA. GSM is found worldwide as well.
GSM carriers: AT&T and T- Mobile and typically have a SIM c ard
CDMA carriers: Sprint and Verizon

1.0 General Description
1.1 The Alpha Communications® CS Series Emergency Phone Stat ion shall be rectangular in appearance and made of a powder coated aluminum c onstruction. The Call Station shall stand 36 high and be c apable of being wall or optionally pole mounted. T he words EMERGENCY TELEPHONE with bright reflec tive lettering shall be locat ed on t he front and the words EMERGENCY on the sides. T he phone shall be compliant with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and be powered with (select 85W or 130W) solar powered panels. Line powered is not ac c eptable.
1.2 The Emergency c ommunication c omponent shall comply with t he American with Disabilities Act . T he Phone shall have the ability t o be programmed with up t o 5 emergency phone numbers. Upon activation of the emergency push button; a c all will be automatically placed, t he strobe shall instantaneously flash and any ancillary devic es t ied into the Phone will be activat ed until the call has been disconnec ted by the called party.
2.0 Construction
2.1 The Emergency Call Stat ion shall be const ructed of powder coated, rust resistant aluminum that is manufactured with a weather and corrosion resistant finish.
2.2 Stainless st eel shall be an available option. T he Stainless Emergency Call Stat ion shall be const ructed in 14 gauge, 304 Stainless Steel, with a B4 Brushed Finish and seam welded on the front to a c lass one workmanship standard.
2.3 The Emergency Call Stat ion is to be 36 high, 10.375 wide and 8.0 deep with all components of its c onstruction to be vandal resistant.
2.4 The Emergency Phone plate shall be made of 12 gauge Stainless St eel and is 11.25 inches high and 8.25 inches wide.
2.5 The Emergency Phone button shall be located on the Call Station and is t o be located no more than 48 above ground level to ensure conformance with the ADA requirements.
2.6 The Call Station must have a Braille fac eplate stating �EMERGENCY PHONE™ �PUSH FOR HELP™ to ensure conformanc e with ADA requirements.
2.7 The strobe shall be mounted within overall construction of unit enclosed behind a Lexan window. Strobe will come fully assembled.
2.8 Phone electronics and most electrical connections must be housed in a NEMA 4 enclosure within the Emergency Call Stat ion.
3.0 Mounting
3.1 The Emergency Call Stat ion is to be mounted on a flat wall surface or on a pole (using optional Alpha Communicat ions® model ABLPMBCS pole mounting bracket).
4.0 Electrical
4.1 Elect rical connect ions are to be made inside a NEMA 4 enc losure or with wat erproof wire nuts provided by Alpha Communications®.
4.2 The Emergency Call Stat ion shall come equipped with a transformer to step down from 120vac to 12vac. It must also be available with 277vac or 480vac transformers (opt ional extra).
4.3 All internal operating electronics shall be 12vac .
4.4 When cellular phone t ype stat ions are used, t he c ompatible c ellular phone service (GSM or CDMA) shall be provided by t he installing contract or.
5.0 Lights
5.1 The 12v Strobe light shall be locat ed within the Emergency Call Station. The st robe shall be ac tivat ed upon pushing of the emergency phone button.
5.2 Single Element St robe light flashes when phone is activated.
5.3 The 12v Dual Element Strobe light is c onstantly on and Strobe flashes when phone is ac tivated. If optional photoc ell is select ed, unit must t urn constant light on at dusk and off at dawn.
6.0 Communications
6.1 The unit shall have an ADA compliant and vandal resistant speaker phone.
6.2 The Phone shall act ivate with one push of the button. Once the button has been pushed, the phone will call programmed emergency numbers and t wo- way communicat ion will open up. T he Phone must be c apable of being programmed with up to (5) emergency numbers.
6.3 The phone shall have Location Message c apability. The phone must have a minimum 18 sec ond recordable message capability, programmable to play once, twice, or cont inuously until the * key is pressed by the c alled party.
6.4 The phone shall be capable of allowing the called party to replay the location message (Loc ation Message feature) if nec essary to ensure an understanding of the locat ion of phone st ation.
6.5 Once the c all has been made (button pushed), the call can only be t erminated by the c alled party.
6.6 The phone plate must have a red LED that will light up upon push of the button. The light shall be a solid color when the phone is activated, and will flash when c all has been answered.
6.7 The speakerphone must be c apable of being programmed and reprogrammed on-site and remotely.
6.8 The phone must have a built in phone line c onsolidator feat ure. Phones must be c apable of sharing phone lines with up to 10 Alpha Communic at ions® Phones if required by end user to reduce operational cost .
6.9 Line powered phones and Dip Switc h programming are not acceptable.
