The LED Corridor Dome Lights shall be Alpha
Communications® CDL101LED, or approved
equal. Lights shall include a translucent
plastic cover mounted on a flame retardant
ABS plastic panel.

The CDL101LED shall feat ure a single long-
life, high-brightness, pure White LED,
eliminating the need for c ostly bulb
changing, and shall operate on 24VAC OR
24VDC power.

The CDL101LED shall be U.L. 1069 listed, to
the latest standards. Units shall mount over
a c onventional 1-gang or 2- gang electrical
back box or plaster ring.

Contractor shall observe all local and
national elect rical and building codes.

The Alpha Communicat ions® CDL101LED Corridor Dome Light (with single White LED)
provides visual indication of any t ype of c all when used with a nurse-c all, emergency­call, or for stand-alone signaling applications. Unlike most LED type c orridor lights, the

CDL101LED can operate on 24VAC OR 24VDC, and not just 24VDC.

When used with our AlphaLinQ™ 100 series nurse-c all syst ems, emergency c alls
are indicated by the rapid flashing of t he CDL101LED corridor dome light associated with
the c alling station. Normal (routine) calls produce a steady illumination.
The CDL102LED corridor zone light indicates an emergency c all by the rapid flashing of
the red LED assoc iated t he zone or area from which an emergency call has been placed.
Normal calls are indicat ed by a steady illumination of the white LED. The CDL101LED c an
also be used with our AlphaEcall™ series and other emergency-call and/or signaling
system(s), even those from other manufac t urers.

The CDL101LED mounts on a st andard 1 or 2-gang elec trical back box and feat ure a
long-life, high brightness pure White LED, eliminating the need for c ostly bulb
replacements, and for maximum call indic at ion.
