The Alpha Communicat ions® BBF (flush) and BBS (surface) series back boxes are
designed for a variety of applicat ions.

All models are fabricated of 18 gauge (.047" nominal) CRS (Cold Rolled Steel),
bonderized with powder-c oated baked enamel painted finish.

Construct ion is spot- welded, with 1/2" knockouts for wiring, where applicable. Model

BBF863 has five (5) 7/8" knockouts.

All models have station mounting holes that are pre-drilled and tapped for 6 x 32
screws. All dimensions shown are less the mounting tabs (if any).

Architects' And Engineers' SpecificationsArchitects' And Engineers' Specifications

The system back box(es) shall be Alpha Communications® / Ring BBFXXX (flush) or BBSXXX (surface) series or approved equal (xxx=model#
suffix). The back box(es) shall be made of 18 gauge (.047" nominal) CRS (Cold Rolled Steel), spot- welded, and bonderized with powder­coated baked enamel painted finish (on the surfac e boxes), otherwise t hey are galvanized st eel finish.

All models shall have st ation mounting holes t hat are pre-drilled and tapped for 6 x 32 screws. Where applicable, t he bac k box(es) shall have
1/2" knockouts for wiring, and stud mounting tabs.

Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and building c odes.
