Insert 2 x “AAA” size batteries into the battery compartment. Be sure that the batteries are inserted
correctly to avoid da mage to t he remote control. Always remove the batteries when the remote
control wi ll not be used for a long peri od of time, as this wil l cause leakage to the batteries and
subsequently damage to your set.
Notes:
Do not break open or throw on a fire exhausted batteries.
If batteries “leak” remove immediately, clean out any residue with warm soapy water, do NOT allow
water to enter the main body of the Remote Control, dry thoroughly before fitting new batteries.
Do not throw old batteries in the domestic waste. Contact your local waste authority for disposal
instructions.
SENSOR WINDOW OF THE RECEIVER
- Even if the remote control is operated within the effective range, its operation may be impossible if
there are any obstacies between the appliance and the remote control.
- If the remote control is operated near other appliances which generate infrared rays, or if other
remote control devices using infrared rays are used near the appliance, it may operate incorrectly.

RADIO OPERATION
AUTOMATIC TUNI
1. Press the “FUNCTION” button to select “TUNER” mo
2. Press the “STOP / BAND” button to select AM or FM.
3. Press the “SKIP +” or “SKIP -” button to start automatic tuning process.
4. When a station is tuned in the tuning process, it will stop automatically and you can listen to your
desired station.
MANUAL TUNI
It is for selecting stations, which cannot be tuned automatically. (manual selection)
To tune a channel manually.
- Skip step 4 in the above procedures.
- In step 3, each time the “SKIP +” or “SKIP -” button is pressed momentarily (0.5 second or less),
the frequency changes by a fixed step:
FM: 0.05 MHz steps
AM: 9 kHz steps

MEMORY PRESET
1. Repeat step 1 to 4 in the AUTOMATIC TUNING procedures.
2. Press the “MEMORY” button to start the preset process.
3. Display will show the memory sequence number and a flashing “1”.
4. Press the “P - UP” or “P - DOWN” button or the “MEMORY” button of front panel to determine
the preset station number.
5. Press again the “MEMORY” button to preset your desired station.
6. Once al l the s tations are st ored, p ress th e “P-UP or P D OWN” to select your d esired
statio n.
MONO / STEREO
Press the “INFO MONO/ST button to achieve the best quality. In some circumstances where the
station is weak, MONO will be a better solution.

PLAY / PAUSE Press to start playing CD / MP3 disc.
Press again to stop playing CD / MP3 operation temporarily.
Press again to resume playback.
SKIP + & Press to go to the next track or back to the previous track.
SKIP - Press and hold while playing until you find the point of the sound.

PLAYBACK
1. Open the CD door and place a CD / MP3 disc with the label up in the CD compartment.
2. Close the CD door.
3. Press the “FUNCTION” button to select “CD / MP3” mode.
4. Focus search is performed if disc is inside.
Playback will start automatically from the first track.
5. Adjust the “VOLUME” control to the desired level
6. Press the “PLAY / PAUSE” button when you want to stop playback temporarily.
7. Press the “STOP” button when finished.

PROGRAM
CD / MP3 OPERATION
Up to 20 tracks can be programmed for CD disc play in any ord
er.
Up to 99 tracks can be programmed for MP3 disc play in any order.
Be sure to press the “STOP” button before use.
1. Press the “MEMORY” button, the display will show “MEMORY” and “P00 000”.
2. Select desired track by using the “SKIP +” or “SKIP -” button. (You may select a desired album
by pressing the “P - UP” or “P - DOWN” button.)
3. Press the “MEMORY” button again to confirm desired track into the program memory.
4. Repeat step 2 and 3 to enter additional tracks into the program memory.
5. When all the desired tracks have been programmed, press the “PLAY / PAUSE” button to play the
disc in the order you have programmed.
6. Press the “STOP” button twice to terminate programmed playback.

Press the “REPEAT” button during playing CD / MP3 disc,
each press switches the repeat function as follows:

1. Plug in USB or SD card, to the respective slots ( Ensure NO CD is in the player) Note Only one

3. Press and hold the “STOP / BAND” button for a few seconds to enter the USB/SD mode.
4. Playback will start automatically from track 1.
5. Press the “STOP / BAND button to finish playing.
6. Press the “PLAY / PAUSE” button to start from track 1 again.

PROGRAM MODE is the same as that of CD, please refer to the CD/MP3 operation on page 8.

Press the “EQ” button on remote control, each press switch the EQ function as follows:

Notes:
- The player not responsible for playability of MP3 in any case. Due to recording condition such as PC
performance, writing software, media ability or etc.
- For CD-RW, CD-R, it may not be played according to the type of this disc.
EXTRA BASS
1. Press the “BASS” button on remote control to enjoy extra bass sound effect.
2. Display will show “BASS - ON”.
3. Press the “BASS” button again to switch off extra bass sound effect.
ID3 TAG (FOR MP3 ONLY)
1. Press once “MONO / STEREO” button, ID3 text will show on display.

SLEEP
1. Press the “SLEEP” button on remote control, display will show “SLEEP 90”. That means, after 90
minutes, appliance will automatically turn to standby mode.
2. Press the “SLEEP” button again to select the automatically turn off time, from 90, 80, 70, 60, 50,
40, 30, 20, 10 minutes.
3. Press the “SLEEP” button to “SLEEP 00” to canel sleep function.
CLOCK SETT
1. Press the “STANDBY” button to switch to standby mode.
2. Press the “MEMO / ADJ.” button twice to entry clock set mode. The display will show “24H” and
flashi
3. Adjust time format ( 12H / 24H ) by pressing the “SKIP +” or “SKIP -” button.
4. Press the “MEMO / ADJ.” button to confirm time format, display will show “AM” or “PM” if 12H

Because the clock setting is in standby mode the display is dim. As no “Backup battery” is included,
if the Mains switch is turned “OFF” the clock and timers must be reset when power is re applied.

Timer settings must be done after completing clock settings
1. Press the “STANDBY” button to switch to standby mode.
2. Press the “MODE” button on the remote control to enter the “Timer Set Mode”.
3. The display will show “TIMER ON”, press the “MEMO / ADJ” button to enter “TIMER ON” setting.
4. Adjust the Hours by pressing “SKIP+ or SKIP-“ buttons, press the “MEMO/ADJ” button to confirm.
5. Adjust the Minutes by pressing the “SKIP+ or SKIP-“buttons, press the “MODE” button to confirm.
6. The display will show “TIMER OFF”, press the “MEMO /ADJ” button to enter “TIMER OFF” setting.
7. Adjust the Hours by pressing “SKIP+ or SKIP-“ buttons, press the “MEMO/ADJ” button to confirm.
8. Adjust the Minutes by pressing the “SKIP+ or SKIP-“buttons, press the “MODE” button to confirm.
9. The display will show “TIMER”, set the source you want to play.
10.Press the “MEMO /ADJ” button to set desired mode (Tuner or DISC).
11.Press the “MODE” button to confirm the Timer setting.
12.Press the “TIMER” button to activate timer function.
13.Press the “TIMER” button to terminate or cancel a timer setting.

ON HANDLING DISCS ON CLEANING DISCS
Do not touch the playback side of the disc.
Do not attach paper or tape to disc.
Fingerprints and dust on the disc cause sound
distortion and skipping of tracks. Wipe the disc
from the centre outwards with a soft cloth.
Always keep the disc clean.
If you can not wipe off the dust with a soft cloth,
wipe the disc lightly with a slightly moistened soft
cloth and finish with a dry cloth.
Do not use any type of solvent such as thinner,
benzine, commercially available cleaners or antistatic spray for vinyl Lps. It may damage the disc.
