Tenant Station with Extra Switch Contact
- INSTRUCTIONS -
The GF-1DS and GF-1MDS are tenant stations for the GF system with the top button made functional
with a switch contact installed. The dry contact is normally open and can be used for individual door
release activation, elevator call-up, or any function that can be activated with a contact closure.

Differentiated ring tone from individual doorbell
Wiring:2-cond. common bus wire for Audio (GF-1DS)
Plus a separate 2-cond. common bus wire for Video (GF-1MDS)
Independent additional 2-cond. wire from each unit’s extra switch to external system
Wiring Distance:GF-BC to farthest Audio Only Entrance(s): 980' with 20AWG
GF-BC to farthest Handset station: 980' with 20AWG
GF-VBC to Entrance Stn: 330' with 18AWG
GF-VBC to farthest GF-1MD: 500' with 18AWG (w/1 monitor);
330' with 18AWG (w/2 monitors)
Total wiring distance not to exceed 1.5 miles with 20AWG
