Agilent U1171A Magnetic Hanging Kit
Operating Instructions

This magnetic hanging kit is designed to be used with the Agilent U1240 Series, U12 50 Series, U1230
Series, and U1270 Series handheld digital multimeters.

The included bracket is only for use with the Agilent U1241/U1242B handheld
digital multimeter.

Operation

Follow the steps below for the Agilent U1240 Series assembly.

1) Tie the strap to the adapter.

3) Snap the adapter tightly to
secure the connection.

2) Insert the adapter to the
instrument.

4) To disassemble, pull out the
adapter.

Follow the steps below for the Agilent U1250 Series assembly.

1) Flip the stand upwards and
over its maximum reach until
it is detached from its hinge.

2) Flip the stand over so that the
stand’s inner surface is facing
the meter’s rear.

3) Press the stand down into
its hinge.

4) Tie the strap to the hinge.
