Long Term Shut Down and Start Up
Instructions

Shut down the system

To shut down the system:

1 Turn off the instrument purge from the supply (if applicable).
2 Turn off the instrument power from the panel switch.
3 Disconnect the mains power lead.
4 Remove any installed accessories and store them in their original packaging.
5 Fit the sample compartment door.
6 Close the sample compartment lid.
7 Shutdown the controlling PC.

Start up the system

To start up the system:

1 Turn on the instrument purge from the supply (if applicable).
2 Connect the instrument power lead.
3 Switch on the instrument.
4 Switch on the controlling PC.
5 Allow a 2-hour instrument warmup period.
6 Open the Validate application and run the Instrument Performance Tests.
