8. Option
15 V phantom power input 2
If you require 15 V phantom power, this can be
directly connected to the input-socket of input 2.
Factory-provided phantom power is deactivated
but, if required, may be activated by an internal
jumper.
In contrary 9V phantom power, if required, can
additionally be activated in input 1 by an internal
jumper.
Please note: For both alterations the device
must be opened, therefore only qualied service
personnel may carry out the modications concerning the de-/activating of phantom power.
9. Insert
Insert-point
The insert connector is a stereo jack socket containing both output (send) and input (return) for a serial
eect loop (tip = send, ring = return).
Generally you will need an Y-cable (stereo / 2 x
mono) to connect the eect device to the insert
socket.
The direct signal path is interrupted while the insert
connector is plugged in.
