Safety instructions
The safety features of AEG electrical
appliances comply with accepted technical standards and the German Appliance Safety Law. Nevertheless, as a
manufacturer we consider it our obligation to make you aware of the following safety information.
General safety
• The appliance may only be connected
to a power supply with the same voltage as that specified on the type plate
(H)!
• Never use the flex to pull the plug out
of the socket but pull the actual plug.
• If the mains cord of this appliance is
damaged, it has to be replaced by the
manufacturer or its customer service or
a trained electrician to avoid risks.
• Never use the kettle if it has been
dropped or has evidently been damaged.
• Repairs to the kettle may only be carried out by qualified personnel. As a
result of incorrect repairs considerable
dangers may result. Please contact the
AEG customer service department or
an authorised dealer in the event of
repairs being necessary.
• Always pull out the plug,
– before cleaning and attending to the
kettle,
– and after each time it is used.
Safety of children
• Only use the express kettle when
supervised.
• Supervise children particularly carefully!
