n authorized electrician should carry out the electrical

nstallation. The sockets should be fitted on the wall at
i
the back of the sink base (see drawings). The voltage for
both the hotplates and the refrigerator is 230 - 240 V.
In order to do this, use a metall drill with 2,5 mm diameter
and drill through the pre bored holes in the side edge profiles
hrough onto the kitchen sink´s side gables.

Tighten the screws.
Remove the safety metal bar profile that is fitted between
the inner sides of the top unit at the lower front edge and
re-mount the screws.
ASSEMBLING
irst unpack the base unit and position in front of the place

of installation and provide space around it for assembly.
Check that the electrical connections have been prepared
prior to the installation.
Remove the protection film from the kitchen sink plus the
three screws, (save no. 1) which hold the kitchen sink at
the back edge. Unpack the top unit. Unclip the doors and
put them aside in order not to damage them. Loosen the
six transport screws (save no. 2). Lift up the top unit and
place it on top of the base unit.
Please take extreme care, as the 3 metal runners on
the lower part of the top unit are very sharp.

Take care not to displace the sink fitting from its position
on the bottom unit.
Place the top unit level with the front edge of the base unit.
Please note the depth of the top unit is 620 mm and the
bottom is 600 mm. Screw in the three screws that you
saved (no. 1) through the back edge profile. The six transport
screws which you saved (no. 2) should be used to attach
both of the side rails to the sink unit.

Re-hang the doors and if needed, adjust the hinges.
•
• Connect the plugs in the right wall sockets and test
all functions.
• Check that the safety micro switch cuts the circuit to
the lighting and the hotplates but not to the refrigerator.
• Connect water and run through to check seals are tight.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The compact kitchen is approved by SEMKO for connection
according to the enclosed instructions. The hotplates effect
1000 W respectively 1200 W may not be increased by
exchange. The top unit has a safety switch for the hotplates and light / socket assembly.
The safety switch closes the circuit when the door is shut
and may not be bypassed.

1. 1 No. 13 amp socket is required for the refrigerator in
the base unit.
2. 1 No. 13 amp socket is required for the light / socket
switch located at the back of the cupboard unit.
(An additional 13-amp socket may also be required for
a microwave housed within the top unit).
3. The microwave can be connected to the light / socket
witch or alternatively the lead can be taken through

the back of the top unit and connected to an additional
13 amp socket. This will enable the internal 13 amp socket
switch to be used for other appliances e.g. A kettle.
