Switch on the Remote Control
1. Load four A A batteries into the battery compar tment. Pay attention to positive and negative directions.
2. Be sure S1 is swiched to the “E” position , S2 and S4 are switched to the upper-most position .
3. Slide power switch to ON position to power on the Remote Control. Then the power indicator(red) lights up:

Install the Camera and Cage
The camera cage named Q45 can be mounted on A P9 aircraft for S50/S51/S60/ S71/OM51S/OM60S/OR60S/OR71S/S40 and other S series of cameras .
1.Put the camera in the cage.
2.Assembly the cage on the Quadcopter with the screw.
Assembling Quadcopter Battery
1. Load battery into battery compartment in the correct direction.
2. Ensure that the battery has been completely pushed in:

Impor tant: 1. Please check the battery level before take- off; when the batter y level detection button is short pressed, the bat tery level will appear in percentage on the display. 2. When the bat tery icon has less than two bars,
please charge the batter y fully before take-off.
Turn on the AP9
1. Place AP9 on a at and open ground, with the tail indicator facing toward you.

2. Power on the Remote control and Quadcopter in sequence.

Note:1. Propellers are designed to self-tighten during ight; therefore do not
tighten them excessively. Do not use glue on the threads. 2. Ensure Propellers
are attached in the correct position. The quadc opter cannot y properly if the
Propellers are installed incorrectly. Wear protective gloves while installing as Propellers are very thin and may cause accidental scratches.
Taking off and Landing(Outdoors)
Taking off:
1. Place Quadcopter (with full power battery) on a at and open ground, and
ensure Tail Indicator fac es toward you.
2. Turn on the Remote Control and the Quadcopter switch.
3. Be sure the Remote control is set exactly as the gure below.
Calibrate the Compass
Compass calibration is required before rst time use other wise the system may not work properly, affecting ight safety. The compass is sensitive to
electromagnetic interference from other electronic devices, which can cause
abnormal compass data leading to poor ight performance or even ight failure.
Regular calibration is required for optimum performance.
● Attention:Do not c alibrate the compass in environments with a strong magnetic eld (such as near power lines or radio towers); Do not carry
ferromagnetic materials when calibrating the compass,such as keys and cell phones etc.)

After the quadcopter powers on(about 20 seconds). Swich S4 for more than 5 times between GPSand F-M mode and stay at NRM position. The quadcopter will enter calibraion standby mode (the tail light blinks fast).

Toggle the joysticks to the position as shown above, Front indic ator (green) starts blinking, Then release the joysticks. Compass calibration command has been sent successfully.
Rotate Quadcopter 360° horizontally (2 turns)
4. Starting motors: toggle the lef t joystick to lef t bottom corner and toggle right joystick to right bottom corner at the mean time to start motors. Once the motors st art please release the joysticks immediately.
5. Push the left joystick slowly, then Quadcopter take off. Please refer AEE Quadcopter User Manual for more details.
Note: The motors can not be started until GPS signal is ready(Tail indic ator
will remain on while GPS signal is ready).

1. Slowly pull the left joystick to lower Quadcopter until four land-gear s touch
the ground (only on at and open ground).
2. After landing, pull the left joystick to the lowest position and hold for more than 3 seconds until the motors stop.
3. Power off Quadcopter by sliding the switch to OFF.
4. Remove the batter y.
5. Power off Remote Control .
Note:
Toggle Left joystick to left bottom corner. Toggle Right joystick to r ight bottom corner.
Rotate Quadcopter 360° vertically 2 turns (Nose down )
Rotate Quadcopter vertically (Nose leftward) until green lights off, Put Quadcopter on the ground. Green lights up normally af ter light
off→ calibration successful; Green lights blink fast after light off→calibration failed →Recalibrate
Note: 1.Calibration can begin until the Remote Control and Quadcopter start up completely(powered on for about 20 seconds).2.Please disassemble the propellers before calibration.
Assembling Propellers
1. Remove the 4 warning cards from motors.
2. Attach Propellers with gray nuts to motor shafts without " P" marks, and attach Propellers with black nuts to motor shafts with "P" marks.
3. Tighten Propellers as per the appropriate locking direction.
Important:
1. Control the ight height under your control dur ing your rst ight.
2. Do not stop the motors during ight, O R it will cause the Q uadcopter to drop
without control.
