The ADTRAN IQ 710 Shelf is mounting shelf designed to accommodate two IQ 710s

Perform the following steps to install a unit into the IQ 710 Shelf.

Use of nuts other than those provided by ADTRAN could damage the bolts in the shelf and prevent a secure hold down for the IQ 710 unit.

ADTRAN will replace or repair this product within five years from the date of shipment if it does not meet its published specifications or fails due to defects in materials and workmanship.

For detailed warranty, repair, and return information, refer to the ADTRAN Equipment Warranty, Repair, and Return Policy and Procedure.

Return Material Authorization (RMA) is required prior to returning equipment to ADTRAN.

Identify the RMA number clearly on the package (below address), and return to the following address:

1. Loosen all nuts on bracket and remove bracket.

2. Insert unit from the rear of the shelf and slide forward until the unit is flush with tabs and aligned with shelf front panel openings.

3. Reinstall the bracket so that the tabs are overlapping the rear edge of each IQ 710 unit.

4. Replace and tighten the nuts to secure rear brackets.

5. Verify the units are firmly attached to the shelf.
