Sensormatic®RFID General Purpose
Input/Output (GPIO) Hardware Interface
Board
The Sensormatic®RFID General Purpose Input / Output (GPIO) Hardware Interface Board provides a centralized connection and electrical power for external input / output devices, such as motion sensors, light stacks, and audible alarms, to be used with the Agile 2 or Impinj Speedway readers. These output devices provide a visual or audible indication of predefined reader status and events.
Its compact design facilitates easy mounting inside an RFID General Purpose Reader Enclosure or other suitable electrical enclosure. Input devices, such as motion or position sensors, receive power for their
active circuits through the GPIO Hardware Interface Board and provide input signals back to the reader. Additionally, the GPIO Hardware Interface Board electrically isolates input and output devices, which protects the RFID reader.
The RFID GPIO Hardware Interface Board enables the reader with Enhanced Operating Software (EOS) to work with input / output devices to better automate and integrate RFID with your processes.
Features:
Easy Installation. Utilizes pluggable, springloaded terminal blocks for quick and easy installation. RFID Reader Protection. Provides an isolated electrical interface between the reader and general purpose input and output devices.
Excellent Compatibility. Compatible with any
standard 24Vdc GPIO device.
