Introduction:
Congratulations and thank you for purchasing the ADJ WiFly TransCeiver. The WiFly Transciever is a wireless DMX TransCeiver (Transmitter/Receiver in one) that is compatiable with other ADJ products with WiFly. After connecting the WiFly TransCeiver to a DMX Controller you are able to send a constant and reliable wireless DMX signal up to 500 feet to other ADJ WiFly products. The wireless frequencyy is 2.4 GHz and will coexist in busy RF enviroments alongside technologies like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The ADJ WiFly TransCeiver is the ideal solution for DJ’s, nightclubs, bars or for any event where you don’t want data cables to be seen, and when it is not easy to run data cables to your fixture(s) location.

The WiFly TransCeiver carries a 1 Year (365 days) limited warranty. Please fill out the enclosed war­ranty card to validate your purchase. All returned service items whether under warranty or not, must be freight pre-paid and accompany a return authorization (R.A.) number. INDICATORS, CONNECTIONS AND FUNCTIONS -
1. Dipswitches - Use these dipswitches to set the channel.
2. Wireless Receiver Indicator LED - When this Green LED is lit, the TransCeiver is receiving the wireless
DMX signal.
3. Wireless Transmitter LED - When this Yellow LED is lit, the TransCeiver is sending the wireless DMX signal.
4. Power Indicator LED - This LED indicates the power on/off status.
5. 3 Pin DMX Out - Output the DMX signal.
6. 5 Pin DMX Out - Output the DMX signal.
7. Antenna - This antenna will receive or trasmit the DMX signal.
8. Power Supply Connection - Connect the provided power supply to this jack.
9. 3 Pin DMX In - Input the DMX signal.
10. 5 Pin DMX In - Input the DMX signal.
Setting Up the WiFly:
With this feature you are able to control the fixtures with DMX without the need for XLR cables. The WiFly range is up to 500 feet (open line of sight).
NOTE: If connecting to a ADJ WiFly fixture, please also see the set up functions associated with your WiFly fixture.
1. Power on the WiFly, the red power LED indicator will light up.
2. When using the WiFly as a transmitter connect the WiFly to a DMX512 controller via XLR cable. The yellow Transmitting LED indicator will light up.
3. After the LED indicator lights up, use the dipswitches to set the WiFly channel. The channel can be set between 0-15.
4. The WiFly TranCeivers that are connected to your fixtures or the WiFly fixtures themselves must be set to the same WiFly channel. If the WiFly TransCeiver (receiver) connected to your desired fixture is set up correctly, the green receiver LED indicator will glow.
