FF23TR DMX TIMER REMOTE
Thank you for purchasing the ADJ FF23TR. Please read the manual before using your new FF23TR
controller.
DMX Timer Remote: With the DMX Timer Remote you can operate the fog output automatically and turn
either the Fog Fury 2000 or 3000 into a two or three channel DMX intellingent unit. The DMX Timer Remote
must be connected to both the fog machine and a universal DMX-512 controller. See the DMX Values and
traits on the other side.
WHEN DMX MODE IS ACTIVE THE TIMER FUNCTION WILL NOT WORK.
1. Assign a DMX address to the Fog Fury 2000 or 3000 using the dipswitches on the side of the DMX Timer
Remote.
NOTE: The dipswitches on the side of the DMX Timer Remote are for addressing the fog machine
only.
2. Connect the male XLR cable of the DMX Timer Remote to the female input connection of the universal
DMX-512 controller.
3. You can now daisy chain other DMX intelligent lights. Start with the female input connector on the front of
the DMX Timer Remote.
Timer Function: The timer function allows haze to be emitted at designated intervals. The remote has three
(3) buttons and three (3) LEDs that indicate different functions.
WHEN DMX MODE IS ACTIVE THE TIMER FUNCTION WILL NOT WORK.
- POWER BUTTON - The RED LED located above the button will indicate the timer and controller is
turned on and is activated.
- DMX/TIMER BUTTON - The GREEN LED will indicate that timer function is active and a RED LED will
blink every so often, letting you know the fog machine is heating up. Once the LED turns RED fog output
will begin. Press this button again to turn off timer mode and activate DMX control. When in DMX control
mode the LED will be off.
- MANUAL BUTTON - The RED LED located to the right is for manual fogging, wait for the GREEN LED to
light up, then press the button.
The remote also contains two rotary knobs.
- The Duration knob serves two functions 1) Turns the timer on and off. 2) Sets the timers duration between
0.5s - 13s. (Length of fog output).
- The interval knob sets the amount of time in between fog output from 9 seconds to 4 minutes. Turning
these knobs in a clockwise direction will increase there values, turning them in a counter-clockwise direc tion will decrease their values.
Caution: Before removing or replacing the remote control unit disconnect the power supply.
Caution!
No user serviceable parts inside do not attempt repairs. In the event your timer
remote should fail, contact ADJ.

validate your purchase. All returned service items whether under warranty or not, must be freight prepaid and accompany a return authorization (R.A.) number. If the remote is under warranty you must
provide a copy of your proof of purchase invoice. Please contact ADJ customer support for a R.A.
number.
