Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch

Deutsch

Die Waage ist zum Wiegen von Koffern, Taschen etc.
konzipiert. Die maximale Belastbarkeit von 50 kg darf
dabei nicht überschritten werden. Für die gewerbliche
Nutzung ist die Waage ungeeignet.

Sicherheit

 Dieser Artikel kann von Kindern ab 8 Jah-

ren und darüber sowie von Personen mit
verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder
mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfah­rung und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie
beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren
Gebrauchs des Artikels unterwiesen wurden
und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren

verstehen.
 Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Artikel spielen.
 Reinigung und Benutzerwartung dürfen

nicht von Kindern vorgenommen werden,

werden beaufsichtigt.

 Batterien können bei Verschlucken lebens-

gefährlich sein. Bewahren Sie Waage und
Batterie deshalb für Kleinkinder unerreich­bar auf. Wurde eine Batterie verschluckt,
muss sofort medizinische Hilfe in Anspruch
genommen werden.

GEFAHR für Kinder

 Halten Sie Kinder von Verpackungsmaterial fern.

Bei Verschlucken besteht Erstickungsgefahr. Ach­ten Sie auch darauf, dass der Verpackungsbeutel
nicht über den Kopf gestülpt wird.

GEFAHR von Brand⁄ Verbrennung und⁄
oder Explosion

 Explosionsgefahr bei unsachgemäßem Auswech-

seln der Batterie. Ersetzen Sie die Batterie nur
durch denselben oder einen gleichwertigen Batte­rietyp. Beachten Sie die „Technischen Daten“.

 Batterien dürfen nicht geladen, mit anderen Mitteln

reaktiviert, auseinander genommen, ins Feuer

geworfen oder kurzgeschlossen werden. Ansonsten

besteht erhöhte Explosions- und Auslaufgefahr,

außerdem können Gase entweichen!
 Vermeiden Sie Kontakt der Batterieüssigkeit mit

Haut, Augen und Schleimhäuten. Bei Kontakt spü-

len Sie die betroenen Stellen sofort mit reichlich

klarem Wasser und suchen Sie umgehend einen

Arzt auf.

Inbetriebnahme

Iso-Streifen entfernen

Bei Auslieferung ist die Batterie bereits eingelegt
und zum Schutz vor vorzeitiger Entladung mit einem
Iso-Streifen versehen. Um die Waage in Betrieb zu neh­men, müssen Sie den Iso-Streifen entfernen. Das Bat­teriefach befindet sich auf der Geräte-Unterseite.

1. Schieben Sie den Batteriefachdeckel in Richtung des
aufgedruckten Pfeils ab.

2. Ziehen Sie den Iso-Streifen heraus.

3. Schieben Sie den Batteriefachdeckel wieder auf.

Batterie einlegen⁄wechseln

Für den Gebrauch benötigen Sie eine Batterie des Typs
CR2032, 3V.

1. Schieben Sie den Batteriefachdeckel in Richtung des
aufgedruckten Pfeils ab.

2. Schieben Sie die Batterie gegen die Kontaktfeder
unter die große, eckige Haltelasche. Die Batterie ras­tet dann an der gegenüberliegenden Haltenase ein,
so dass die Batterie fest in ihren Halterung sitzt.

Beachten Sie die richtige Polarität (+/-).
Der Plus-Pol (+) muss nach oben zeigen.

3. Schieben Sie den Batteriefachdeckel wieder auf.

Bedienung

Wiegen

1. Drücken Sie die Bedientaste.
Für einen kurzen Moment werden sämtliche Anzei­gen im beleuchteten Display dargestellt. Danach
wird „0.00 kg“ (Standardeinstellung) angezeigt.

2. Legen Sie den Gurt der Kofferwaage um den Griff
Ihres Koffers und befestigen Sie den Haken an der
dreieckigen Öse.

3. Heben Sie den Koffer an.
Sobald im Display „Hold“ angezeigt wird, ist der
Wiegevorgang beendet.

4. Sie können den Koffer abbstellen und das Ergebnis
im Display ablesen.

 Drücken Sie 1x kurz die Bedientaste, um

das Ergebnis auf „0“ zu setzen und ein
weiteres Gepäckstück zu wiegen.

 Um die Waage ganz auszuschalten, halten

Sie die Bedientaste gedrückt, bis das
Display erlischt.

 Wenn Sie die Waage nicht benutzen,

schaltet sie sich nach ca. 60 Sekunden
automatisch aus.

Zuwiegefunktion nutzen (TARA)

Diese Funktion ermöglicht Ihnen ein schrittweises Wie­gen, z.B. mithilfe eines Korbes.

1. Gehen Sie vor wie im Abschnitt „Wiegen“ beschrie­ben (Schritt 1 bis 3).

2. Drücken Sie die Bedientaste, sobald im Display das
gemessene Gewicht und „Hold“ angezeigt wird.
Kurz darauf wird „Tare“ angezeigt.

3. Legen Sie das Wiegegut in den Korb. Sobald im Dis­play „Hold“ angezeigt wird, ist der Wiegevorgang
beendet und Sie können das Ergebnis ablesen.

Der Vorgang kann so oft wiederholt werden, bis die Ka­pazitätsgrenze (50 kg) erreicht ist.

Intended Use

The scale is designed for weighing suitcases, bags, etc.
The maximum load capacity of 50 kg must not be ex­ceeded. The scale is not suited for commercial use.

Safety

 These scales can be used by children 8 years

of age and above, as well as by persons with
reduced physical, sensory, or mental capaci­ties or lacking experience and knowledge, if
they are supervised or have been instructed
in the safe use of the scales and understand
the dangers that may arise.

 Children must not play with the scales.
 Cleaning and user maintenance must not

be carried out by children, unless they are
8years of age or older and are being super­vised.

 Batteries, when swallowed, can be

life-threatening. You should therefore keep
the scales and battery out of reach of small
children. If a battery is swallowed, medical
assistance must be sought immediately.

DANGER for children

 Keep children away from packaging material. Risk

of choking if swallowed. Also beware that chil­dren do not pull the packaging material over their
heads.

RISK of fire⁄burning and⁄or explosion

 There is a risk of explosion if batteries are replaced

incorrectly. Replace the battery using only the
same or an equivalent type of battery. Pay atten­tion to the “Technical Data”.

 Batteries must not be recharged, reactivated by

other means, dismantled, thrown into re, or
short-circuited. Otherwise there is an increased risk
of explosion and of leakage; furthermore, gases
may escape.

 Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and mucosa. If you

come into contact with battery acid, ush the aect­ed site immediately with plenty of clean water and
see a doctor promptly.

Start-up

Remove the iso-strip

The battery is already inserted at delivery and furnished
with an iso-strip to protect it from discharging prema­turely. In order to activate the scales, you must remove
the isostrip. The battery compartment is located on the
underside of the device.

1. Slide the battery compartment cover off in the di­rection of the imprinted arrow.

2. Pull the iso-strip out.

3. Replace the battery compartment cover.

Inserting⁄changing battery

To use the scales, a type CR2032, 3V battery is required.

1. Slide the battery compartment cover off in the di­rection of the imprinted arrow.

2. Push the battery against the contact spring and un­der the large, square retaining tab. The battery then
snaps into place under the opposite retaining collar,
so that it sits firmly in its socket.

Pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-). The plus
pole (+) must point upwards.

3. Slide the battery compartment cover back into
place.

Use

Weighing

1. Press the operating button.
For a brief moment all of the indicators on the
illuminated display will be shown. Then, “0.00 kg”
(standard setting) will be displayed.

2. Place the strap of the luggage scale around the
handle of your suitcase and fasten the hook to the
triangular eyelet.

3. Raise the suitcase.
As soon as “Hold” is shown on the display, the
weighing process has concluded.

4. You can put down the suitcase and read off the re­sult on the display.

 Press the operating button once briey

in order to set the result to “0” and weigh
another piece of luggage.

 To switch o the scale completely, press

and hold the operating button until the
display turns o.

 If you are not using the scale, it switches

itself o automatically after approx. 60
seconds.

Using the tare function (TARA)

This function enables step-wise weighing, e.g. with the
help of a basket.

1. Proceed as described in the section “Weighing”
(step 1 to 3).

2. Press the operating button as soon as the measured
weight and “Hold” are shown on the display. Shortly
thereafter “Tare” will be displayed.

3. Place the item to be weighed into the basket. As
soon as “Hold” is shown on the display, the weighing
process has concluded and you can read off the
result.

The process can be repeated as often as needed until
the capacity limit (50 kg) is reached.
