2. POWER SUPPLY

2pcs 1.5V AAA batteries - insert into the battery holder on scale base.
100-240 VAC 50/60 Hz to 6 VDC 500mA external power supply.

3. OPERATION

1. “ON/OFF” button. Press briefly to turn on and off scale.

2. “TARE/MODE” button for zero, tare, or changing units.

• Press and hold for 3 seconds to zero or tare.

• Press briefly to cycle through available weighing units

4. Power-saving mode:

• In unloaded state, the scale will turn off within 60 seconds if the weight changes by
less than 3g within 10 seconds.

• In loaded steady state, the backlight will turn off within 10 seconds, and within 60
seconds the scale will turn off.

To disable power-saving mode:

When the scale is switched on, press “ON/OFF” and “TARE/MODE” buttons together until
display shows A-oFF or n-oFF. Now press the “TARE/MODE” button to switch between
power-saving mode on (A) and off (n). Once selected, press the “ON/OFF” button for approx.
3 seconds to turn off the scale. When turned on again, your newly selected power-saving
mode option will be active.

5. When the scale is turned on, the weighing unit will be the same as was last set before the
scale was turned off.

6. The stainless steel top pan is removable for cleaning.

4. ATTENTION

1. Keep the scale dry, do not use chemicals to clean it. If necessary, please use a damp cloth
to clean it, but avoid splashing or immersing the scale water in water.

Don’t hit or drop the scale – this may affect accuracy, or cause damage.

3.

Don’t expose to excess heat or moisture, do not exceed maximum weight capacity.

4.

If no display after you turn on the scale, please check batteries are inserted correctly

5. WARRANTY STATEMENT

Adam Equipment offers Limited Warranty (Parts and Labour) for the components failed due to
defects in materials or workmanship. Warranty starts from the date of delivery.

During the warranty period, should any repairs be necessary, the purchaser must inform its
supplier or Adam Equipment Company. The company or its authorised Technician reserves the
right to repair or replace the components at any of its workshops depending on the severity of
the problems. However, any freight involved in sending the faulty units or parts to the service
centre should be borne by the purchaser.

The warranty will cease to operate if the equipment is not returned in the original packaging and
with correct documentation for a claim to be processed. All claims are at the sole discretion of
Adam Equipment.

This warranty does not cover equipment where defects or poor performance is due to misuse,
accidental damage, exposure to radioactive or corrosive materials, negligence, faulty
installation, unauthorised modifications or attempted repair or failure to observe the
requirements and recommendations as given in this User Manual. Additionally rechargeable
batteries (where supplied) are not covered under warranty.

Repairs carried out under the warranty does not extend the warranty period. Components
removed during the warranty repairs become the company property.

The statutory right of the purchaser is not affected by this warranty. The terms of this warranty is

2. ALIMENTATION

2 piles AAA 1.5V – insérer les dans le compartiment à piles dessous la balance.
Adaptateur externe fourni en standard 100-240 VAC 50/60 Hz à 6 VDC 500mA.

3. FONCTIONNEMENT

1. Bouton “ON/OFF” . Appuyez brièvement sur le bouton pour allumer ou éteindre la balance.

2. Bouton “TARE/MODE” pour faire le zéro, la tare ou bien changer les unités.

• Appuyez et maintenir pendant 3 secondes pour faire le zéro ou la tare.

• Appuyez brièvement pour naviguer dans les unités de pesage disponibles

4. Mode économie d’énergie:

• Sans charge sur le plateau, la balance s’éteindra dans 60 secondes si le poids change
de moins de 3g en 10 secondes.

• Avec une charge sur le plateau, le rétro éclairage s’éteindra dans 10 secondes et la
balance s’éteindra dans 60 secondes.

Pour désactiver le mode économie d’énergie:

Lorsque la balance est allumée, appuyez sur les boutons “ON/OFF” et “TARE/MODE”
ensemble jusqu’à ce que l’écran affiche A-oFF ou n-oFF. Maintenant appuyez sur le bouton
“TARE/MODE” pour modifier la fonction entre économie d’énergie ON (A) et OFF (n). Une
fois sélectionnée, appuyez sur la touche “ON/OFF” pendant environ 3 secondes pour
éteindre la balance. Lorsque la balance s’allume de nouveau, le nouveau mode économie
d’énergie sélectionné sera actif.

5. Lorsque la balance est allumée, l’unité de pesage sera la même que la dernière
précédemment utilisée lorsque la balance était éteinte.

6. Le plateau en acier inoxydable est amovible pour le nettoyage.

4. ATTENTION

1. Veuillez garder le plateau de la balance propre, ne pas utiliser de produits détergeant pour la
nettoyer. Si besoin, veuillez utiliser un tissu humidifié pour la

nettoyer, mais éviter les

éclaboussures ou bien l’immersion de la balance.

2.

Ne pas frapper ou bien faire tomber la balance – ceci peut affecter la précision et voir
l’endommager.

3.

Ne pas exposer la balance à un excès de chaleur ou bien d’humidité, ne pas dépasser la
capacité maximale.

4.

S’il n’y a pas d’affichage lors de l’allumage de la balance, veuillez alors vérifier que les piles
soient correctement insérées.
