Acer designed the Travelmate 8471G series to be the most power efficient
notebook on the market from the ultra-low-voltage processor to its magnesium
alloy chassis that improves durability & dissipates heat more effectively. To
conserve power consumption the Travelmate 8471G features a mercury free
14" LED backlit LCD panel & ATI switchable graphics which intelligently switches between onboard &
discrete graphics. To compliment the components which make up the Travelmate 8471G Acer ePower
management comes preinstalled allowing users to customised their own power schemes for AC & DC
power. The end result for the end-user is over a 40% more efficient notebook in comparison to traditional
