There are three configurations ZTX515
The third configuration is exactly like the two
shown except there are no buttons on the face.
The unit is programmed to transmit a
supervisory message only
ZTX515
900 MHz Pendent
The ZTX515 has two independent contact
closures, an alarm input, and a clear alarm
input. All alarm inputs are de-bounced and are
interrupt driven so the change of state is
recognized in microseconds then verified for a
few milliseconds which initiates the alarm or
restore transmitted information. When the
alarm button is pressed the transmitter outputs
the alarm message 12 times, when the button is
released the transmitter outputs a restore
message 12 times.
The ZTX515 is capable of being supervised by
the system, the period between and the number
of transmits per supervisory check-in is
programmable, 1 to 65,535 seconds and times
to transmit from 1 to 255. Default values are
300 seconds and 2 supervisory transmits.
The ZTX515 internal battery is constantly
monitored by the microprocessor and when a
low battery condition occurs it is latched. The
low threshold has been established to allow the
battery to fully support the transmitter for as
long as two weeks under normal operation.
When the Low Battery Condition has been
detected, the transmitter transmits a Low
Battery Alarm and the Low Battery Status is
latched. The Low Battery Status is transmitted
with supervisory and alarm events
.
ZTX515 Battery Replacement
To replace the battery, remove the cover,
remove the battery and replace with a new
battery, observing the polarity labeled under
the battery. Push the reset button and
reinstall the cover.
ZTX515 Programming
The transmitter is factory programmed with
default values and the IDs are sequentially
programmed when the unit passes final test.
For custom programming contact the factory.
The programmed firmware resides in nonvolatile flash memory. The loss of power will
not cause the loss of program.
