1. Number keys:
Input numbers and characters; customize number keys 1-2 as the

Execute the functions displayed in lower right corner of the screen. And
you can use it to delete the anterior letter near the cursor which you have
input in the message or exit the interface of editing when there is no letter
in the message.
3. Dial key
There are two dial key. They are used to make a phone call by SIM1 or
SIM2 and answer the telephone for SIM1 or SIM2; in standby state, adjust
the record of the Dialed calls, the Received calls and the Missed calls.
4. Hang_Up key:
It is used to refuse to the telephone; generally press this key to return to
standby state under the other condition. Press and hold this key to
open/close the mobile phone.
5. Left/Right key:
Move cursor to the left or right while editing; in standby state, press the
Left key to access [Profiles] and press the Right key to access [Write
message]; in certain submenus, press the Left key to access selected
menu and press the Right key to return to previous menu.
6. Up/Down key:
Press to browse names, telephone numbers, short messages,
submenus and so on; move cursor up or down while editing; in standby
state, press the Up key to access [Camera] and press the down key to
access [Alarm].

7. OK key:
In Standby state, press it to enter the main menu or press and hold it to
open or close the torch; otherwise pressing it to access the menu you have
chosen.
8. * key:
Input special symbols;in standby state, press and hold this key to switch
among *, +, P and W.
9. # key:
Press this key to input # or switch the input methods; in standby state,
press and hold this key to switch between Silent mode and the General
profile.
10. Audio key:
It is a shortcut key to enter the audio player directly when the phone is in
the standby state.
Note: In this manual, press a key means to press the key and release;
press and hold a key means to press the key and hold for no less than
2 seconds.
2.3 Install SIM card and battery
¾ Hold down the switch key at the top of the phone about three seconds;
¾ Push down and remove the battery cover;

¾ Remove the battery;
¾ Fit on the SIM1 (based on the slot with the sign of "SIM1"). When you
are installing the SIM card, please make the contact dot down (make
sure the direction of the gap on the SIM card is consistent with the slot)
and then push the SIM card inside the slot until the full match (the
installation method of SIM2 is similar to SIM1).
¾Make the metal contact part of the battery aim at the contact pad
position and fit on it, and then install the battery cover.
Explain:
Function description in this manual is based on inserting two SIM
mode→Dual SIM dual standby]. If you only insert a single card or not
select the Dual SIM open, the interface and the Option is not the same
as the discriptions in the manual.
2.4 Install memory card
This phone supports dual T-flash cards: one is near the SIM card slots,
which is used as U disk; the other one is at the right side of the phone,
which is named memory card.
Insert the memory card and then you can put up browsing, copying and
other operations to the files on the memory card through the phone. You can

expand the phone memory with the memory card.
The card which is near the SIM card slotes:
¾ Remove the back cover and battery;
¾ Make the side of Memory card which have the golden touch down, push
the card with the narrow end first into the slot until it is fully consistent
with the slot to complete the installation.
The card which is at the right side of the phone:
¾ Open the plastic cover which is marked with T-FLASH;
¾ Insert the T-flash card in the slot directly until it is fully consistent with the
slot to complete the installation (please notice the direction of the T-flash
card).
¾Close the plastic cover.
Warning:
Do not insert or pull the memory card fast and frequently, to avoid
damage to the memory card.

2.5 Battery Charging
Use the travel charger
¾ Insert the battery into the phone correctly;
¾ Open the rubber cover underneath the phone, make the side which has
arrow towards the screen, insert the charger plug into the charging
interface, and then connect the travel charger to standard power outlet.
¾After insert the charger, the battery strength icon in upper right corner of
the screen starts scrolling that charging has begun. When the battery is
fully charged, the icon will stop scrolling and the battery symbol will
display full grid on the screen.
¾Charging is completed, first disconnect the charger with standard
electrical outlet and then disconnect the phone and charger.
Attention:
1.Please use the standard battery and charger, or it may bring explosion.
2.If the battery is completely discharged, the battery icon should be
appeared after charging 2 to 3 minutes. Generally based on the current
state of the phone (if it is power on or be calling, etc.), the charging time is
different for 2 to 5 hours.
3.Please charge your battery through charger and avoid using the USB cable
to charge as much as possible.

4.To ensure the new battery achieving the optimal performance, please
make the battery complete the battery charge and discharge cycles for
two to three times. Several initial charge for new battery, please charge
more than 10 hours continuously.

3. Call functions
3.1 Make a phone call
3.1.1 Dial Directly
¾ In the standby state, enter the area code and the phone number.
¾ Press the Dial key of SIM1 to make a phone call by SIM1, press the Dial key
of SIM2 to make a phone call by SIM2.
3.1.2 Dial Tray
¾In the standby state, after pressing any number key, the dial interface
showed, and then you can dial directly using the keyboard.
¾ Press the Dial key of SIM1 to make a phone call by SIM1, press the Dial key
of SIM2 to make a phone call by SIM2.
¾ Choose "Option" and you can carry through these functions accord to
the prompts: Add to contacts, Add to existing contact, Send SMS, Send
MMS, Insert wpn, SIM1 call, SIM2 call or make a IP call.
3.1.3 International calls
¾Enter the country code (if the "+" is required to input when you enter the
country code, please press the “*” key twice continuously).

¾Access the main menu to select [Call log], or press the Dial key in
standby state to view the call history and select the phone number to
call.

3.1.6 Dial the number with extension
¾ Enter the switchboard number.

¾In the dial-up screen, select [Option → Insert wpn→ Pause P], then
enter the extension number.
¾Press the Dial key of SIM1 to make a phone call by SIM1, press the Dial key
of SIM2 to make a phone call by SIM2. Theextension number will be sent
out after switchboard number is dialed successfully for a few seconds.
3.1.7 Emergency call
¾ Enter the emergency number;
¾ Press the Dial key of SIM1 to make a phone call by SIM1, press the Dial key
of SIM2 to make a phone call by SIM2.
3.2 Answer or reject a call

when you are communicating with somebody, the phone will prompte
you with, and you can deal it as follows:
Select [Maintain and Answer] or [Release and Answer] to answer the
second call after pressing the Dial key of SIM1 or the Left soft key,
and then the preceding call is set as maintain state automatically.
Press the Hung_UP key or the Right soft key to reject the second call to
continue the current call.
3.2.3 Reject a call
¾ When a call is coming, press the Hung_Up key or the Right soft key for
two times to refuse answer.
3.3 The menu in communicating
During the communication with phone, select the Menu can operate the
following actions:
¾ Turn on handfree: open or cancel the function of hands-free. During a
call, press the right soft key to choose <Handsfree> can also open /
close this function.
¾ Shuttle: maintain the current call by selecting [Shuttle]; while maintaining
a call, it can resume an active call after selecting [Shuttle] (this feature
requires the support of network).
¾ Contacts: get into the Contacts.
¾ Message: access the menu of message.

¾ Call record: enter the list of call history.
¾ Start/Stop to record: record the content of communication and then
select [Menu → Stop to record] to stop the recording. At this point the
phone recording will be saved in the [Tools → Recorder → Option →
Record file list] automatically.
Attention:
Recording of the call is illegal in some countries. Therefore, when
you are recording about the call, you should seek the consent of the
other party at first.
¾ Turn on/off mute:: turn off the microphone temporarily during a call. If you
open this function, you can hear each other's voice, but the other party
can not hear your voice. Select [Unmute] can resume the call.
3.4 Adjust the volume
During a call, you can use the arrow keys "up / down key" or "Left / Right"
to adjust the volume.
3.5 End a call
When you need end the call, press the Hung_Up key to end the call.

Refuse to accept the phone number which has been set.
4.5 Delete All
Remove all telephone records.
4.6 Call timer
Select the type of SIM card you want to view and then you can see the
related information about timer.

4.7 Call costs (need network support)
¾ All costs: check the total cost for SIM1 and SIM2.
¾ Max costs: Set the max cost for SIM 1 and SIM 2, you can also edit it.

5. Contacts
The phone prepares high-capacity phone storage space carefully for you.
The capacity for storing depends on the SIM card.
5.1 Search contact
In the standby state, select [Contacts] and enter the contacts list for
viewing. Carry out searching location through the keys on the keyboard
directly (it supports fuzzy search).
# Example: search "李四"
Enter "57" can find it, for the corresponding phonetic of "李" is "l" and the
corresponding phonetic of "四" is "s".
# Example: search “sam”
The letter of "sam" is corresponded to the number key of "726", so you
just need press the "726" key to find the name.
# Example: look for names, at the beginning of which is symbol, such as";”,

Enter "1" directly to look for it.

The Internet is the application platform which combines the wireless
communications and Internet and it enables you to get rich application by
phone, such as Internet information resources and e-commerce.
In the standby state, press the middle key to enter the main menu and
them select "Internet."
Notice:
1.Your Internet service provider may not support some functions, so
please make sure your SIM card can support and have opened the
Internet feature in order to ensure the normal operation of the browser.
2.If you browse the web, you need to charge fees related to traffic.

Input the web site you need to browse.
China's largest free wireless Internet portal lets you know the world
without leaving home.
6.2 Homepage
Select this to connect the pre-set homepage or the default homepage

6.3 Bookmarks
The bookmark is blank as default and you are free to edit it. Commonly
used website can be saved in the bookmarks with a simple name tag.
Select one of the bookmarks and then you can connect to the current web

and then select save.

Record the web sites you have visited previously.

7. Multimedia
7.1 Camera
Get into the Multimedia, select [Multimedia → camera] to enter the
camera interface.
7.1.1Take photos
In the camera interface, use the up and down keys to adjust the focal
length; use the left and right key to enter the [shooting Settings]; use the
middle key to take pictures.
In the [shoot mode] under the menu of [shooting Settings], select [DC
mode] to begin to find the view.
¾Camera settings
In the camera interface of finding the view, use the left and right key to
enter the Option of [shooting settings] to set:
Shoot mode: You can switch between DC mode and DV mode
directly.
Size: Set photo’s resolution is 1280x960, 640x480, 320x240 or 176
x220.
Profiles: Switch the mode between normal mode and night mode.
Brightness: Use the up and down keys to set the brightness effect.
Contrast: Use the up and down keys to set the contrast effect.

Exposure bias: Use the up and down keys to set the exposure
compensation effect.
Frame: You can choose No frame or Frame1.
Cont. shot: Set the continuous shot mode.
White balance: Select Auto, Incandescence, Fluorescent, Daylight or

Delay: You can set the timer as disabled, 3s or 10s. After setting the
delay time, the camera interface will appear the countdown in the
preview screen after pressing the middle button to take photos. After
a set time, the phone will take photographs automatically.
Special effects: You can set the effect as normal, black and white,
red, green, blue, yellow, negative or sepia effect.
¾Option:
In the photo viewing interface, use the left soft key to enter [Option]:
Gallery: Access to view images.
Settings:
Quality: Select high, normal or simple according to your need.
Banding: You can set it as 50HZ or 60HZ.
Shutter sound: Open or close the effect of shutter sound.
Auto Save: Open this setting, the system will save the photos you
have taken automatically; otherwise, you need to press the
confirm key to save the current photo.
Display parameters: Open it, the upper left corner of the preview
interface for taking pictures will show the photographs
parameters.

7.1.2 DV
In the [shoot mode] under the menu of [shooting Settings], select [switch
to shoot] to begin to find the view for filming.

the [shooting settings] to set:
Shoot mode: You can switch between DC mode and DV mode
directly.
Size: Set photo’s resolution is 320x240, 176x144, 160x128 or 128

Effect: You can set the effect as normal, black and white, red, green,
blue, yellow, negative or nostalgic effect.

In the camera viewfinder interface, use the left soft key to enter [Option]:
View: Get into the list of video files.
Settings:
Banding: You can set it as 50HZ or 60HZ.
Audio: It can be turned on or off, in order to take audio video or
silent vedio.

If you are shooting, there are calls, MMS, alarm clock and other
information coming, the current shooting video will be saved automatically.
7.2 Audio player
The phone can play your stored music files and the downloaded ring
tones by audio player; it supports the function of background play.
Description:
The Audio player supports MPEG 1 layer 3 audio, MPEG 2 layer 3 low
sampling rate extension and MPEG 2.5 layer 3 (unofficial).
In the standby state, press the middle button to access main menu; select
[Multimedia → audio player] to get into the audio player interface.

Save list: Save all the songs under the current in the list with the
custom name, then you can press [Playlist] to find the playlist
name you have saved.
Clear current play list: Clear all the audio files in the current list.
¾ All play lists: Show all of playlists. The "All music" is a fixed list and
you can not delete, rename or copy it.
Get into "All music" or other list interface, press [Option] to carry
out these operations: play, browse, delete list, new list, rename, copy,
and update the entire track.
¾Set ring: The music which is playing is set to "call ring" or "alarm
ring".
¾Add to list: You can create a new list in the playing music file, and

8. Message
Message is the network service, wether the menu can run or not is
connected with the type of your SIM card and the network operators. Please
make sure this function of service before using this feature.
8.1 Write message
Before using this feature, you must obtain the appropriate service center
number from the network operators. The capacity of the SIM card memory
is based on the type of different card.
8.1.1 New SMS
Each of the text messages can contain up to 268 Chinese characters or
612 English characters.
In the standby state, press the middle button to access the main menu
and then select [Message →Write message →New SMS] to enter the
editing interface.
When you have finished editing text message, select <option> will appear

8.6.1 Template SMS
The default message in the Templates can be used directly when writing
SMS. By editing, you can self-set up five common template messages.
8.6.2 Voice mail
This feature is similar to the answering machine, with which you can
thansfer the missed call to your own proprietary voice mail, it means let the
caller leave an oral message and to notify that you have oral messages in
voice mail messages via SMS. This feature is part of the supporting
software from network operators to users, so you need register the business,
and set manually. Please contact your network operator for more details.
Note:
By setting the "call forwarding" feature, the voice calls can be
transferred to voice mail (the caller's number for leaving message).

regardless of whether the channel has been set to the corresponding
number, the phone can not receive any broadcast messages.

¾ Language: The phone provides you with multiple languages, with
which you can choose to listen to the broadcast.

8.6.4 SMS settings
¾SIM1 / SIM2 msg counter: When you send out text messages, you
must set the service center number of network operator. You can also
obtain the number from the network operators. Most of the SIM cards
have already contain the service center number.
Note:
If you modify or delete the message center number, you might not send
out text messages.
¾Message validity period: You can set the validity period of SMS stored
in the information center as 1 hour, 6 hours, 24 hours, 72 hours, a
week or max.
¾Status report: Select [Open] and then the information center will
prompt you when you send out text messages successfully.
¾Save sent messages: Set the state of Save sent messages as Prompt, Save
or Not save.
¾Prior storage medium: Choose the preferred place to store the MMS.
8.6.5 MMS settings
¾SIM1 / SIM2 MMS account: Select the MMS account for SIM1 and

¾Arrive report: Open this function and then the network will send a
message to inform you when the receiver has received and
download the multimedia message you send; you can also choose
[Close].

multimedia message, the network will send the read report to you;

¾Anonymous: Select [Open], the MMS can be sent to the designated

[Auto Receive]. If you select [Manual receiver], you need the
download the MMS in inbox manually; if you open [Auto Receive],

can be played when you view it.
¾Adversting: With opening, the phone can receive advertising while it

9.1 Alarm
In the standby state, press the middle button to access the main menu
and select the [Tools → Alarm], you can set the name, time, tone and repeat
mode for alarm.
The phone has three alarm clocks, which can be open simultaneously.
Each alarm can be set as single reminder, daily reminder or weekly
reminder.
9.2 Calendar
In the standby state, press the middle button to access the main menu,
and then select the [Tools → calendar].
Get into the calendar interface, you can nacigaiton keys to view different
solar calendar and the bottom of the screen displays the corresponding
lunar calendar.
Enter [Option] to carry on the following operations:

E-books directly. In the e-book reading interface, press [Option] to access

¾Add bookmark: You can add the contents in the current page of the

and the maximum limit for each is 5M.
¾Photos: Store the image files. The the image format which can be
previewing includes jpg, gif, bmp and wbmp. You can check it
through the "Photo Manager". The image of JPG format is up to
1.2M and the image of other formats is up to 100K.
¾Videos: Store the video files.It may be used to store the avi files, mp4
files and 3gp files.
¾vCard: Storage the card files with the vcf format. In the contacts,
copy one contact to memory and then this record will be saved in this
folder in the vcf format.
Note:
The five folders above are protected, they can only be read and read,

PIN code (PIN1) is the personal identify number for SIM card. If the user
does not change the original password, the password supplied by the
operator is 1234 or 0000. If you activate the PIN code for powering on, then
4-digit PIN code is necessary to enter after each start. The PIN code can be
amended, which used to protect your SIM card is not used by others.
Please note that if the PIN code input wrong for three times continuously,
the phone card will lock automatically and prompts you to enter PUK code to
unlock it, at which time you are close to the brink of danger. Therefore, if you
modify the PIN code by yourself, make sure remember it in mind.
PUK code (PUK1) is ordered by the 8-bit numbers and the user can not
change it. When the PIN code is locked and when the phone prompt you to
enter the PUK code, do not act rashly, because the opportunities for
0inputting the PUK code is only 10 times and it you enter the wrong words

for 10 times continuously, the SIM card will be locked permanently, that

Please use this feature with caution and if you forget the PUK password,

12.5.2 PIN2
PIN2 code (PersonalIdentificationNumber2) is entered when you enter a
particular function (such as setting a fixed number, set the call billing, etc.).
PIN2 code is entered when a particular feature is used, such as the

limit function, limit to dial and so on. The PIN2 code provided by the supplier

When entered the wrong PIN2 code for 3 times continuously, the phone
card will be locked, then you must enter the correct code to unlock PUK2.

12.5.3 Privacy protect
This function can protect your phone's specific features to prevent
unauthorized viewing by others. When activate password protection feature
for call records, messages, camera, Contacts, document management,

entry the corresponding main menu or submenus. The default password is
"1234", you can also modify the password.

12.5.4 Auto key
You can select 5 seconds, 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute or 5
minutes to open the automatic keylock function; you can also select [Close]
to close this function. When this feature is turned on, the automatic
keyboard lock feature is started to prevent misuse.

12.5.7 Theft proof
Theft proof feature (MSD) is also known as mobile dog. Its main function is
to collect the current CELL ID (mean: cell ID) and other information sent to
the pre-specified phone at the time when the phone is used illegally. To a
certain time or after certain times of making the phone power on, this
function will prevent others from re-booting to use this phone.
The theft proof function is off by default, and you need change your
password before activating it. After activating it, you need enter a password
to carry on the operations for startupping, shutdowning or changing your
password. The password has the six bits. In addition to a password, a
pre-designated phone number is also required to enter (cell phone stolen,
the mobile phone number to receive notification messages) to open this
function.
When you activate this function, the mobile phone will store the SIM
card's IMSI number. As this number is only, when another SIM card is

If sending fails or is on at this time, the sending text messages will be sent
the next minute, until send them successfully. Over 24 hours in the standby
state or reboot the phone, the phone will send a text message to your
pre-specified mobile phone number again. Send text messages
successfully to a certain number of times (15 times), any use of an illegal
SIM card can not use the machine, the phone will shut down automatically.
Note:
If your phone is stolen, please report to the public security organs, but it

If the phone takes this SIM card as illegal card and you want to open the
anti-theft function, the phone will prompt you have no right to use, it
means you can not use the security features of the corresponding menu
under Theft proof. If the phone is switched on using another card and the
password is entered correctly, the the message count for sending will start
counting from 0 and the phone will prompt whether binding. Select binding,
the phone will update and use this SIM's IMSI number information, then
this card is treated as the specified card of the phone.
¾ Activate: To enable this feature, you must first set a password, if the
password is not set, the phone prompts that "Please change your
password". You can get into the [Change Password] menu to set the
security password and then open this function. The security
password and notification phone number are requested to enter (to

13.1 The function of U disk
Follow these steps to use the U disk:
¾ Before use, make sure the system of your computer is Windows2000 or
WindowsXP.
¾ Connect the computer with your phone by USB data cable provided with

phone. When the computer identifies the U disk successfully, the status

16.4 Precautions for Battery Charging
