Il Ricevitore Satellitare Digitale è un apparecchio che permette di vedere molti programmi forniti in via satellitare. Questo manuale copre l’installazione dell’apparecchio e illustra le fasi di utilizzo delle diverse caratteristiche. Esso mostra anche le caratteristiche speciali disponibili nell’apparecchio.

Sicurezza

Funzionamento

Leggendo il manuale si comprenderà che l’uso quotidiano dell’apparecchio è basato su una serie di schermate e menu che permettono di ottenere il massimo guidando l’utente nell’installazione, organizzazione dei canali, visualizzazione ed altre funzioni. Tutte le funzioni sono eseguibili con i tasti del telecomando ed alcune di esse sono regolabili anche dai tasti del pannello frontale. Per tornare alla normale modalità TV in qualsiasi momento durante l’uso dei menu è sufficiente premere il tasto TV/AV.

L’apparecchio è facile da usare, sempre disponibile ed adattabile ad aggiornamenti futuri. È importante sapere che il nuovo software potrebbe modificare la funzionalità dell’apparecchio.

In caso di difficoltà con il funzionamento, consultare le relative sezioni del manuale, compresa la guida ai guasti oppure rivolgersi al rivenditore o al servizio clienti.

Pannello frontale

1. Sensore del telecomando: riceve i segnali del telecomando.

2. Indicatore del canale: indica il numero di canale.

3. Spia VERDE: si illumina quando il canale è ricevuto.

4. Spia ROSSA: si illumina quando il ricevitore è in attesa (stand by).

5. Standby (attesa): accensione/spegnimento del ricevitore. 6,7. 5: canale successivo o scorrimento verso l’alto tra le voci del menu. 6: canale precedente o scorrimento verso il basso delle voci di menu.

Questa sezione illustra l’installazione dell’apparecchio. Consultare i manuali dei singoli dispositivi nel caso di apparecchi esterni quali l’antenna parabolica. Consultare il manuale di ogni nuovo dispositivo quando esso viene aggiunto.

Durante la visione dei canali, premendo il tasto MENU sul telecomando, si visualizza la pagina principale, mentre usando i tasti ◄ ► è possibile selezionare altri menu. Per abbandonare questa pagina premere EXIT. La pagina principale comprende 5 menu

Installazione

L’apparecchio ha un Wizard per l’installazione che permette di selezionare solo la configurazione minima per la visione dei canali. Questa “Installazione” è destinata ad utenti esperti o installatori che desiderino configurare o aggiornare l’apparecchio secondo esigenze specifiche. Questo menu contiene 5 principali sub-menu come segue (Figura 6);

-Antenna

-Manual Search (ricerca automatica)

-Edit Satellite (Modifica satellite)

-Edit Transponder (Modifica transponder)

-Factory Default (Ripristino configurazione originale) Durante l’installazione, il tasto OK conferma sempre la selezione effettuata nel menu. I tasti CH▲▼ servono a spostarsi verso l’alto o verso il basso tra le righe. In qualsiasi momento è

possibile tornare al menu precedente selezionando EXIT.

Antenna Setting

Premere il tasto MENU, usare i tasti CH▲▼ per scegliere “Installation” e confermare con OK, usare i tasti CH▲▼ per selezionare “Antenna” e premere OK per visualizzare il Sub-menu (Figura

7).

In questo menu è possibile selezionare le impostazioni del satellite ed LNB usando i tasti ◄ ►, mentre i tasti ▲▼ servono a selezionare la voce. Premere OK per confermare ed EXIT per abbandonare.

l Satellite name (Nome del satellite)

Premere i tasti ◄ ► per selezionare il nome del satellite

l Transponder

Premere i tasti ◄ ► per selezionare il transponder da cercare

l LNB Freq

Premere i tasti ◄ ► per selezionare il tipo di LNB, Normal o Universal

l LNB Power

Premere i tasti ◄ ► per selezionare la potenza LNB tra 13V o 18V o Off (Spento).

l 22KHz

Nel caso di un Dual LNB o due antenne collegate ad una scatola di commutazione da 22KHz, portare il valore 22KHz su ON o OFF per selezionare LNB o antenna.

l Switch

Premere i tasti ◄ ► per selezionare la commutazione DiSEqc, selezionando da 1 a 4

DiSEqc1.0 e OFF e Auto DiSEqc. l 0/12V Premere i tasti ◄ ► per attivare / disattivare 12V l Motorised System Premere i tasti ◄ ► per selezionare le impostazioni DiSEqc1.2 l Satellite o TP o Network Scan

DiSEqC 1.2

L’utente può attivare e modificare le impostazioni del motore DiSEqC1.2.

Tali impostazioni comprendono: Attivazione o disattivazione del DiSEqC1.2

Attivazione o disattivazione dei limiti di software per il movimento del motore. La funzione Recalculate Limits attiva le posizioni e i limiti pre-determinati del motore, quindi i valori impostati dall’utente saranno cancellati. La funzione Reset Position sposta il motore alla sua posizione pre-determinata (solitamente 0)

Scan Satellite

In questo menu è possibile selezionare il satellite usando i tasti ▲▼ e premendo OK per confermare. Con i tasti ◄ ► è possibile scegliere All o FTA (tutti o FTA) e premendo il tasto OK si inizia la scansione dei satelliti (Figure 10,11);

Manual Search

In questo menu, impostare i parametri di ricerca (Frequency, Symbol Rate, Polarization, etc.) per trovare manualmente i servizi selezionati nel trasporto. Le barre nella parte inferiore del menu indicano la potenza e la qualità del segnale dei parametri immessi. È possibile selezionare il valore di alcuni parametri usando i tasti ◄ ► oppure immettendo il valore delle voci con i tasti numerici (0~9). Terminata l’impostazione di una voce, premere il tasto OK per passare a quella successiva.

Edit Satellite

In questo menu è possibile aggiungere, modificare, cancellare, rinominare il satellite usando i tasti ▲▼◄ ►. Premere il tasto OK per confermare (es. Figure 13,14,15, 16) ed EXIT per abbandonare l’operazione.

In questo menu è possibile aggiungere, modificare e cancellare il TP usando i tasti ▲▼◄ ►. Premere il tasto OK per confermare (es. Figure 17,18,19, 20) ed EXIT per abbandonare l’operazione.

Factory Reset

Figura 21 Accedendo al menu appare la scritta “Do you really want to continue?” (Intendete continuare?) Premere il tasto OK per confermare e tutti i canali ricercati saranno cancellati.

Channel Manager

Questo menu contiene 4 sub-menu principali come segue (Figura 22);

-Edit Channels (Modifica canali)

-Edit Favorites (Modifica Preferiti)

-Parental Control (Controllo Genitoriale)

Edit Channel

In questo menu è possibile bloccare, spostare, sostituire, ignorare, cancellare e rinominare i servizi usando i tasti ▲▼◄ ►. Premere il tasto OK per confermare (es. Figure 23,24) ed EXIT per abbandonare l’operazione.

Edit Favorites

In questo menu è possibile aggiungere e modificare tre servizi del gruppo preferiti e bloccare alcuni servizi usando i tasti ▲▼◄ ►. Premere il tasto OK per confermare (es. Figure 25, 26) ed EXIT per abbandonare l’operazione.

Parental Control

In questo menu è possibile attivare o disattivare (On/Off, Once On/Off) lo stato del codice di accesso (password) dei menu “Installazione” e “Edit Channels”. Se attivato (On), il codice di accesso sarà sempre richiesto, in caso contrario (Off) l’accesso sarà libero. In questo menu è possibile anche modificare il codice di accesso generale (il valore reimpostato è 0000). (Figura 27, Figura 28)

Sort Channels

In questo menu è possibile usare i tasti▲▼◄ ► per ordinare i servizi per satellite, TP etc. Premere il tasto OK per confermare (es. Figura 29) ed EXIT per abbandonare l’operazione.

In questo menu è possibile usare i tasti◄ ► per selezionare menu, lingua dell’audio, TV, uscita modulatore RF. Premere il tasto OK per confermare (es. Figura 31) ed EXIT per abbandonare l’operazione.

OSD

In questo menu, usando i tasti ▲▼ è possibile selezionare l’uscita OSD, la modalità di richiamo, la modalità SCART. Premere il tasto OK per accedere al menu successivo. (Figura 32)

USALS Setup

Impostare la longitudine del satellite e la longitudine/latitudine locali, la funzione USALS sposta automaticamente la parabola. Evidenziare la scritta “Motor Setting” e premere [OK]: lo schermo mostrerà il menu come indicato nella figura sottostante:

Timer

Questo menu contiene 3 sub-menu principali come segue (Figura 35);

-Timer Setup (Configurazione timer)

-Sleep Timer (Timer di spegnimento)

I tasti CH▲▼ servono a spostarsi verso l’alto o verso il basso tra le righe. In qualsiasi momento è possibile tornare al menu precedente selezionando EXIT.

Timer Setup

In questo menu è possibile usare i tasti ▲▼◄ ► per modificare data e ora correnti. Premere il tasto EXIT per abbandonare l’operazione.

Event Time

In questo menu è possibile usare i tasti▲▼◄ ► e OK per aggiungere o modificare le impostazioni esistenti di alcuni eventi (Figure 37,38). Premere il tasto EXIT per abbandonare l’operazione.

Sleep Timer

In questo menu è possibile usare i tasti▲▼◄ ► OK per configurare la funzione “sleep timer” ( Figura 39). Premere il tasto EXIT per abbandonare l’operazione.

I tasti CH▲▼ servono a spostarsi verso l’alto o verso il basso tra le righe. In qualsiasi momento è possibile tornare al menu precedente selezionando EXIT.

Guida ai programmi

In questo menu, premendo EPG sul telecomando, la guida ai programmi mostra gli eventi ed i dettagli di ogni evento per ciascun servizio. Inizialmente sono elencati gli eventi del giorno del servizio attualmente in visione.

Selezione rapida

In questo menu, premere OK e SAT (Rosso) per selezionare la voce e quindi il tasto OK per selezionare il satellite desiderato. Premere OK e Quick Find (verde) per selezionare la voce, quindi OH per selezionare il servizio desiderato. I contenuti delle voci sono i seguenti:

Immagini multiple

Premere “SCAN” sul telecomando per selezionare la visualizzazione multi-immagine e PIP. Usare i tasti CH▲▼ per spostarsi verso l’alto o verso il basso e tra le righe. In qualsiasi momento è possibile tornare al menu precedente selezionando EXIT.

Premere “INFO” sul telecomando per passare dall’immagine grande a quella piccola nella modalità PIP.

Box To Box

I dati di programma e di canale possono essere copiati da un ricevitore ad un altro, come segue:

a) Collegare il cavo RS232 tra i dispositivi di sorgente e destinazione.

b) Accendere i dispositivi sorgente e destinazione e premere “Power” sul telecomando.

c) All’avvio del dispositivo di destinazione premere “444” per avviare la ricezione.

Multi Audio

Premendo il tasto “AUDIO” sul telecomando è possibile visualizzare l’audio multiplo (se disponibile) del servizio corrente. L’utente può cambiare ed impostare le diverse possibilità di audio presenti nell’elenco, oltre a scegliere l’uscita destra, sinistra o Stereo.

Informazioni sul canale

Ad ogni cambio di canale le informazioni del programma appaiono per qualche secondo sullo schermo. Durante la visione, queste informazioni possono essere visualizzate premendo il tasto INFO sul Telecomando. Nota: le informazioni rimangono visibili per 5 secondi.

Volume

Per aumentare o ridurre il volume, usare i tasti VOL◄► del telecomando. Per escludere l’audio premere il tasto MUTE del telecomando. Per annullare l’esclusione premere nuovamente il tasto MUTE.

Throughout this manual you will notice that the everyday operation of your DSR-Series is based on a series of user friendly on screen display and menus. These menus will help you get the most from your DSR-Series, guiding you through installation, channel organizing, viewing and many other functions. All function can be carried out using the buttons on the remote control, and some of the function can also be carried out using the buttons on the front panel. If at any time when you using the menus you want to return to the normal TV mode, press the TV/AV button.

The DSR-Series is easy to use, always at your command and adaptable for future advances. Please be aware that new software may change the functionality of the DSR-Series.

Should you experience and difficulties with the operation of your DSR-Series, please consult the relevant section of this manual, including the Problem Shooting, or alternatively call your dealer or a customer service adviser.

INSTALLATION

This section explains the installation of DSR-SERIES. Refer to the manuals supplied with the equipment for the installation of outdoor equipment such as the dish antenna. When adding new equipmet, be sure to refer to the related parts of the manual for the installation.

Select Installation

DSR-SERIES has install Wizard system which allows users to set up the DSR-SERIES setting only minimum configuration for viewing channels. This “installation” is for the advanced user or installer to set up in detail or Up-grade the DSR-SERIES as their favorite way for advanced function. This menu contains of 5 major sub-menus as below (Figure6);

Press MENU button, use the CH▲▼ to select “Installtion” and press OK button, use the CH▲▼ to select “Antenna Setting”. Press OK button then Sub-menu box will be appeared (Figure 7).

DiSEqC 1.2

User can enable and change the settings of the DiSEqC1.2 motor.

The motor settings include: Enable or Disable the DiSEqC1.2

Enable or Disable the software limits of the motor movement. Recalculate Limits activates the default positions and limits of the motor, thereby the user set previous values will be erased. Reset Position moves the motor to its default position(usually 0)

Scan Satellite

In this menu ,you can select the satellite by use the ▲▼ buttons, Press the OK buttons to confirm. And use the ◄ ► buttons to select All or FTA. and OK buttons to scan satellite (Figure10,11);

Manual Search

In the menu ,set the Search Parameters(Frequency, Symbol Rate, Polarization, etc.)to manually find the services that you have select in the transport. The bars at the bottom of the menu show signal power and signal quality of the entered parameters. You can select the value of some items by the ◄ ► buttons, or input the value of the other items by using the NUMBER buttons (0~9).After finishing one item settings, then press OK buttons to choose next item orderly.

Parental Control

In this menu, The menu “Installation” and “Edit Channels” access password requirement status can be changed to On, Off or at Once On ,Off. If On, access password is always required. If Off, the access is not restricted. And in this menu, you can change access password .(Default password is 0000). (Figure27, Figure28)

Box To Box

You can copy receiver to receiver for program and channels data. Other the quick way for box to box as follow:

d) Connect the RS232 twisted cable between Source and Destination targets.

e) Power on the Source Target and press “Power” in remote.

f) On Boot-up of the Destination target and press “444” to start receiver to receiver.

Multi Audio

When press “AUDIO” in remote, the current watching service's multiple audios (if any) are displayed. User can change and set the various audios given in the list. User can also toggle to Left, Right or Stereo mode of output for the selected audio.

Channel Info

Every time you change channels, you will receive program information for a few second. While viewing channel, you can see the current channel information anytime by pressing INFO key on the remote control. Note: Channel information will be shown for 5 seconds.

Volume Control

Funcionamiento

Al leer el manual se entenderá que el empleo diario del aparato está basado sobre una serie de panorámicas y menus que permiten de conseguir el máximo guiando el usuario en la instalación, organización de los canales, visualización y otras funciones. Todas las funciones son ejecutables por medio de las teclas del mando a distancia y algunas entre ellas pueden ser ajustables también por medio de las teclas del panel frontal. Para volver a la modalidad normal TV en cualquier momento durante el empleo de los menus es suficiente presionar la tecla TV/AV.

El aparato es fácil de utilizar, siempre disponible y adaptable a acutalizaciones futuras. Es importante saber que el nuevo software podría modificar la funcionalidad del aparato.

En caso de dificultad con el funcionamiento, consultar la secciones correspondientes del manual, incluyendo la guía a las averías o bien acudir al revendedor u al servicio clientes.

Installation

El aparato posee un Wizard para la instalación que permite de seleccionar solamente la configuración mínima para la visión de los canales. Esta instalación está destinada a usuarios expertos o instaladores que quieren configurar o actualizar el aparato según las específicas exigencias. Este menú contiene 5 principales submenus de la forma siguiente (Figura 6):

-Factory Default (Restablecimiento configuración original) Durante la instalación, la tecla OK confirma siempre la selección ejecutada en el menú. Las teclas CH▲▼ sirven para desplazarse hacia arriba o hacia abajo entre las líneas. En cualquier

momento es posible volver al menú anterior seleccionando EXIT.

Presionar la tecla MENU, utilizar las teclas CH▲▼ para seleccionar “Installation” y confirmar con OK, utilizar las teclas CH▲▼ para seleccionar “Antena” y presionar OK para visualizar el

submenu (Figura 7).

En este menú es posible seleccionar los ajustes del satélite y LNB utilizando las teclas ◄ ► , mientras que las teclas ▲▼ hacen falta para seleccionar el objeto. Presionar OK para confirmar y EXIT para abandonar.

En caso de un Dual LNB o dos antenas conectadas a una caja de conmutación de 22KHz, desplazar el valor 22KHz en ON u OFF para seleccionar LNB u antena.

Presionar las teclas ◄ ► para seleccionar la conmutación DiSEqc, seleccionando entre 1 y 4 DiSEqc1.0 y OFF y Auto DiSEqc.

La función Recalculate Limits activa las posiciones y los límites predeterminados del motor, luego los valores ajustados por el usuario serán borrados. La función Reset Position desplaza el motor a su posición predeterminada (usualmente 0)

Scan Satélite

En este menú es posible seleccionar el satélite utilizando las teclas ▲▼ y presionando OK para confirmar. Por medio de las teclas ◄ ► es posible seleccionar All o FTA (todos o FTA) y presionando la tecla OK se empieza el barrido de los satélites (Figuras10,11);

Manual Search

En este menú, ajustar los parámetros de búsqueda (Frequency, Symbol Rate, Polarization, etc.) para encontrar de forma manual los servicios seleccionados en el transporte. Las barras en la parte inferior del menú indican la potencia y la calidad de la señal de los parámetros introducidos. Es posible seleccionar el valor de algunos parámetros utilizando las teclas ◄ ► o bien introduciendo el valor de los objetos por medio de las teclas numéricas (0~9). Luego de haber finalizado el ajuste de un objeto, presionar la tecla OK para pasar a la siguiente.

Edit Satélite

En este menú es posible agregar, modificar, borrar, renombrar el satélite utilizando las teclas ▲▼◄ ►. Presionar la tecla OK para confirmar (por ej. Figuras 13,14,15, 16) y EXIT para abandonar la operación.

Factory Reset

Figura 21 Accediendo al menú aparece el letrero “Do you really want to continue?” (Quieren seguir adelante?) Presionar la tecla OK para confirmar y todos los canales buscados serán borrados.

Channel Manager

Este menú contiene 4 submenus principales de la forma siguiente (Figura 22);

-Edit Channels (Modificación canales)

-Edit Favorites (Modificación Favoritos)

-Parental Control (Control Paternal)

-Sort Channels (Disposición canales) Durante la instalación, la tecla OK confirma siempre la selección ejecutada en el menú. Las teclas CH▲▼ hacen falta para desplazarse hacia arriba o hacia abajo entre las líneas. En cualquier

momento es posible volver al menú anterior seleccionando EXIT.

En este menú es posible bloquear, desplazar, reemplazar, ignorar, borrar y renombrar los servicios utilizando las teclas ▲▼◄ ►. Presionar la tecla OK para confirmar (por ej. Figuras 23,24) y EXIT para abandonar la operación.

Edit Favorites

En este menú es posible agregar y modificar tres servicios del grupo favoritos y bloquear algunos servicios utilizando las teclas ▲▼◄ ►. Presionar la tecla OK para confirmar (por ej. Figuras 25,

26) y EXIT para abandonar la operación.

Parental Control

En este menú es posible activar o desactivar (On/Off, Once On/Off) el estado del código de acceso (password) de los menus “Instalación” y “Edit Channels”. En caso de ser activado (On), el código de acceso será siempre solicitado, de lo contrario (Off) el acceso será libre. En este menú es también posible modificar el código de acceso general (el valor reajustado es 0000). (Figura 27, Figura 28)

Sort Channels

Guía a los programas

En este menú, presionando EPG en el mando a distancia, la guía a los programas muestra los eventos y los detalles de cada evento por cada servicio. Inicialmente son alistados los eventos del día del servicio actualmente en visión.

Selección rápida

En este menú, presionar OK y SAT (Rojo) para seleccionar el objeto y luego la tecla OK para seleccionar el satélite deseado. Presionar OK y Quick Find (verde) para seleccionar el objeto, luego OH para seleccionar el servicio deseado. Los contenidos de los objetos son los siguientes:

Imagenes multiples

Presionar “INFO” en el mando a distancia para pasar de la imagen grande a la pequeña en la modalidad PIP.

Box To Box

Los datos de programa y de canal pueden ser copiados de un receptor a otro, de la forma siguiente:

g) Conectar el cable RS232 entre los dispositivos de fuente y destino.

h) Encender los dispositivos fuente y destino y presionar “Power” en el mando a

distancia.

i) Cuando se pone en marcha el dispositivo de destino presionar “444” para poner en

marcha la recepción.

Multi Audio

Presionando la tecla “AUDIO” en el mando a distancia es posible visualizar el audio multiple (en caso de que se encuentre disponible) del servicio actual. El usuario puede cambiar y ajustar las distintas posibilidades de audio presentes en la lista, además de seleccionar la salida derecha, izquierda u Estéreo.

Informaciones acerca del canal

Cada vez que se cambia el canal, las informaciones del programa aparecen por algunos segundos en la pantalla. Durante la visión, estas informaciones pueden ser visualizadas presionando la tecla INFO en el mando a distancia. Nota: las informaciones quedan visibles durante 5 segundos.

Volumen

Para aumentar o reducir el volumen, utilizar las teclas VOL◄► del mando a distancia. Para excluir el audio presionar la tecla MUTE del mando a distancia. Para anular la exclusión presionar nuevamente la tecla MUTE.
