• When replacing the bulb, you should turn off or unplug the lamp and you must wait until it is cool.
• Bulbs get hot quickly! Touch only the switch/plug when turning the lamp on.
• Use only with a standard Type A Max 60W bulb / SELF-BALLASTED Max 13W CFL bulb or smaller bulb.
• This portable lamp has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a safety feature to reduce the
risk of electric shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way.
• If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug, if it still does not fit, please contact a qualified electrician.
• Never use with an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted.
• Do not alter the plug.

MAINTENANCE
• Follow the instructions on the warning label (caution label) inside the lamp shade to ensure maximum
safety and many years of lighting pleasure.
• To clean, use soft cloth only. Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleaners.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Screw tube (A) onto lamp base (J).

2. Screw tube (B) onto tube (A).
3. Screw tube (C) onto tube (B).
4. Screw tube (D) onto tube (C).
5. Unscrew pre-assembled nial (F) from tube (D)
6. Install shade (E) onto tube (D) by reattaching nial (F).
7. Pull the bottom of shade (E) down towards lamp base (J).
Use a screwdriver to loosen screw (I) and clasp the bottom bar of the shade (G) to the hook (H)

to secure the shade to the pole. Use a screwdriver to tighten screw (I).
