Hardware Installation and Settings

1. Fixing method: the base is attached to the iron or screwed to other materials, then the body is

attracted to the base or placed directly on flat like tables. Please make sure that the body of the

sensor is firmly installed. Otherwise, it may cause false alarms when vibrated or blew with the

fixed object.

2. The distance between the sensor and supporting Bluetooth gateway should not be so far

during installation. It is recommended being within 15 meters without obstruction indoors, or the

distance should be decreased by the material, height, thickness, etc. of obstruction. The

appropriate distance is that the normal sensor alarm can be seen every time on the mobile APP.

3. Detecting direction: When the feet are downwards and the buttons are placed upwards, the

main detecting direction is the human body's left-right movement, while less sensitive to up-

down and far-near movements.

4. Detecting angle : 120 degrees. When the sensor attached to the base can rotate freely at a

certain angle, please turn the lens to a reasonable position to align the main direction of the

human body and avoid the source of interference(For example, a certain distance should the

sensor keep from the space for small animal activities, sun exposure, the sky, lamps, hot water

cups, firelights, cooking utensils, kitchen appliances and all kinds of large heating objects, etc. ,

which can be 1 to 10 meters in different situations).

5. When first installing, please unplug the battery insulator to energize.

6. This sensor is powered by two 1100mAH No. 7 batteries. It can work for about one year if it

tests 60 human body per day on average. After the battery runs out, the user can open the back

cover to replace it by himself following the Instructional drawings provided by the structural

engineer.The spring is connected to the negative electrode of the battery, the entire circuit will

automatically stop working with battery anti-reverse circuit once the battery is reversed.

7. After opening the back cover, the user can set the sensitivity of the sensor by toggling the

small switch on the side of the battery compartment. When it is turned to H (HIGH), the

maximum sensing distance is about 10Meters, suitable for large spaces such as warehouses.

When turned to the L (LOW) , the maximum sensing distance is about 5 meters, which is suitable

for ordinary families. The higher sensitivity, the more likely to be triggered accidentally. The

factory default setting is L, and you can request to specify H when booking in large quantities.

8. When someone is detected, the green indicator light on the sensor will light up and the server

will be reported through the gateway. After the hardware is fixed for a delay of about 1 minute,

the green indicator light will turn on again and report that the person has left via the gateway(It

doesn't matter whether the person is really gone, as long as his movement is not detected, and

the movement must have a certain amplitude).If someone is detected again during this period,

the time will be restarted.

Mobile APP and Software Settings

1. Download and install the “Energetic Lighting” APP from the mobile app store, and register with

your mobile phone number or email address. Please choose the correct region like the United

States or Canada while registering, which will affect the display language and some features while

using , or log in with existing account. The details on home and room management is refer to the

operating instructions of the “Energetic Lighting” APP, then turn on the WIFI and Bluetooth of the

mobile phone.

2. Plug the matching Bluetooth gateway into the power supply and configure it. You can refer to

the instruction manual of Yankon Smart Lighting for details.

3. Press and hold the small button above the side of the sensor for more than 5s and then release

it. You can see the indicator light is flashing inside the lens to initialize the configuration. Open

the "Energetic Lighting" APP, click the "+" sign in the upper right corner to add manually, select

Security Sensor-Motion Detector (Bluetooth)

Select device to Add

You can choose to change the name and click “Done” to return to the main interface

.

If you haven’t seen the newly added device in the main interface, you can pull down to refresh.

When there are multiple devices, you can add them one by one as described above, or select

Auto Search to add device.You can refer to the instruction manual of Yankon Smart Lighting for

details.

After tapping the sensor, you can click the record to view the historical time detected .

2. Some smart devices can be managed by group, You can refer to the instruction manual of

Yankon Smart Lighting for details.

3. There are many setting measures for linkage. Here is a simple example that an indicator light

will light upwhendetecting someone, and the light will automatically turn offafter 2 minutes.

There are countless functions for the user to set. In addition, the linkage devices can be single,

multiple, or groups, and the devices can be Bluetooth or WIFI devices connected on the same

LAN.

First, set up an automation that turns on the lights automaticallyaccording to conditions:

Click Smart-automation-add automation in the bottom middle of"Energetic Lighting" APP.

Choose the detecting device “PIR”

Choose “Human motion detected”
