Installation Requirements
Shielded Category 5 (or above) cabling should be used for all wired Ethernet
con nectio ns and groun ded throu gh AC grou nd of PoE. For all ou tdoor
installations, we recommend that you use Ethernet Surge Protectors near the
device, which will absorb power surges and discharge them into the ground.

Configuration Steps
Precondition
Please ens ure that PC has been connect ed with LAN port of PoE power
of wireles s device.
IP addres s of PC and IP address of the devic e (default one is 192.168.
1.36) are set to be in the same network segmen t.
Operating
Step 1
Open Internet Explor er, input default I P address of wireles s device in the
addres s bar and press [Enter] key.

Input the usern ame and password, and click “L ogin”.
The system disp lays the following inte rface, as shown in Fig ure 1-2.
Note
Default username and password are admin. It is suggested that a password
with high security should be set and password should be modified regularly.

Tick “I have read and agree”, select operat ing country and click “Change”.
The system displays the follo wing interface, as shown in Figure 1-3.

Wireless Access Point
Step 4
Cli ck “Sett ings > Wi reless C onfig urati on”, a s shown in F igure 1- 4. Set
frequ ency and ch annel ; set the wirele ss opera ting mode t o be Access
Point (auto WDS) . There are 5 operating modes: Access Point (auto WDS),

The device connected with camera is set to be “Station (WDS/TDMA2/
TDMA3)” mode.
The device connected with machine room is set to be "Access Point
(Auto WDS)" mode.
Please select WDS mode for transparent transmiss ion of data.

Click “Sa ve Changes” at the top right corne r as shown in Figure 1-6 , and
then clic k “Save” as shown in Figur e 1-7.

Step 6
Click “ Settings > Wireless C onfiguratio n”, as show n in Figur e 1-8; selec t
operating mode to be “Station (WDS/TDMA2/TD MA3)”. Click setting icon
at the lower righ t corner of SSID, as show n in Figure 1-9. Click "R efresh"
icon at the top right corn er. Search SSID of acce ss point, click “Sel ect”,
enter SSI D passphrase and click “D one”, as shown in Figure 1-10.

Select “Network Configura tion”, and modify IP address to be 192.168.1.37
as shown in Figure 1-11, in order to avoid IP conflict. Click “Save” at the

normal connection status, as shown in Figure 1-13.
