RO based purification technology today is the most popular, trusted and reliable technology that delivers pure, safe and palatable drinking water, free from microbial contamination, chemical contamination and excessive salts in water. A very serious drawback of this technology is the large percentage of water wastage for purifying water as it flushes large percentage of water during the process. This is of colossal environmental concern.

Zero B eco SMART is a robust Reverse osmosis unit for commercial establishments like malls,

RO’s of higher capacities are always supported with pre-treatment like softener to get better performance. The Zero B eco SMART 50 / 100 /150 LPH does not need softener in the pre­treatment, therefore saves the customer of performing softener recharging and arrangements of salt.

How Do 50 /100 /150 LPH RO Systems Work ?
Water in Zero B eco SMART passes through following purification process :-
Stage 1 Filtration : Imparts high clarity to water
A robust (20 inch) 10 micron sediment filter is the first stage of purification process. This filter removes suspended particles from the water.
Stage 2 Activated carbon block filter : Makes the water crisp to taste
The activated carbon filter removes most of the organic impurities, color odour from the incoming water.

How Do 50 /100 /150 LPH RO Systems Work ?
Water in Zero B eco SMART passes through following purification process :-

Osmosis membrane having pore size of 0.0001 micron rejects all kinds of contaminations like bacteria, viruses, pyrogen and toxic cancer causing chemicals like pesticides, insecticides, VOCs, Trihalomethanes, Fluoride, Arsenic, Lead and Heavy Metals. The RO membrane reduces 90-95% of total dissolved salts, thereby imparting good taste to the water.
Stage 4 Water saver cartridge: Saves precious water
This unique WSC promotes extra high water recovery by generating active ingredients that keep the surface of the membrane clean. The dual processes of Membrane Sanitizing (ESS) and E-CLEAN membrane cleansing system enables high performance. This results in more purified water and 80% less water wastage as compared to other conventional RO water purifiers.

Installation & Maintenance
INSTALLATION OF eco SMART
Location Of The Unit:
Install the unit in dry place, do not install the unit in hot area. Ensure a drainage
point for reject water.
Install it atleast one foot away from the wall to access enough working space All units are provided with extra length of tubing. Please do not cut the extra
tubing.
Please do not terminate the reject line directly in to the drainage , fasten it well
above the drainage
Provide shade in case of outdoor installations. Sufficient ventilation is required.
Installation Requirements:
Electrical requirements: 230V + 10%, 5 Amp. Socket with proper earthing to be

Installation Requirements:
Electrical requirements: 230V + 10%, 5 Amp. Socket with proper earthing to be
made available at the point of installation.
Plumbing requirements:
1/2” water line with minimum of 1 kg/cm2 pressure and minimum flow of the
inlet water line should be 450 LPH for RO 150lph, 300 LPH for RO 100lph unit and 150LPH for RO 50lph unit to be assured.
Drainage line is required within a distance of 1 meter from the unit. The reject
(drain) line should be kept well above the drain line
.
How to install the unit ?
After opening the unit from the packing, check for damages, loose hydraulic
connections and nut/bolt fittings.
The sediment filter 20” and the carbon filter 20” is already installed in the unit. The water saver cartridges is also installed but inlet & outlet tubing are not
connected, remove plugs & connect the tubings.
Provide an inlet valve with ½” BSP, female outlet with ½” fitting elbow. (customer’s
scope).
Connect the ½” stem adapter with ½” fitting elbow given with the unit into the ½”
BSP female opening of the inlet valve.
Terminate the drain line of the unit to the drainage. Ensure the drain line of the
unit is 3 – 4 inches above the drainage and is not inserted in the drainage.
Connect the permeate line as per the application. Check the functioning of the unit before actual usage of the unit. Before inserting the 3 – pin plug of the system into the main socket ensure correct
voltage and proper earthing of the mains line.
Open the inlet water line and check for line pressure. After checking connect the
inlet line.
Insert 3 – pin plug in the socket. Switch ON the mains. Unit will come ON indicating Power ON and Process ON ( with sufficient
water pressure and user tank empty)
Disconnect the outlet line going to user line like storage tank, cooler etc. so that the
water coming out for first 10 – 15 minutes is drained out.
AFT Check: Observe for a flow on the reject line. Switch OFF the unit and switch it
ON. This will start the flushing cycle for 15 seconds after every 15 mins of process.
Measure the permeate flow coming from the disconnected permeate line. Connect the permeate line to the user line, which is most likely to have a tank with
float valve or tap connection.
How to check the functions ?
Connect the permeate line as per the application. Check the functioning of the unit before actual usage of the unit. Before inserting the 3 pin plug of the system into the main socket ensure correct
voltage and proper earthing of the mains line.
Open the inlet water line and check for line pressure. After checking connect the
inlet line.
Insert 3 pin plug in the socket. Switch ON the mains. Unit will come ON indicating Power ON and Process ON ( with sufficient
water pressure and user tank empty)
Disconnect the outlet line going to user line like storage tank, cooler etc. so that the
water coming out for first 10 15 minutes is drained out.
AFT Check: Observe for a flow on the reject line. Switch OFF the unit and switch it
ON. This will start the flushing cycle for 15 seconds after every 15 mins of process.

Check for Tank Level Control: A. Start the system once again, if the tank is empty or product water tap is open, then
the PROCESS ON (pump) indication will be seen on the digital monitor.
B. When tank is full or on closing the product water tap, the system will shut down with
TANK FULL (full) indication on digital monitor
Check for NO WATER : When tank is empty or product water tap is open, system will restart.
Gradually close the inlet water tap to a point when there is no water or very little flow. System will shut down showing a NO WATER (waterlack) Indications.
Check for TDS: Check the TDS of the permeate water with TDS indicated on the digital panel
NOTE: A Flush symbol will be seen for 90 seconds only during POWER ON ( when switching ON the unit ) This is an internal loop flushing not seen outside)
NOTE: When system pressure exceeds 9 kg/sq cm, unit will shut off.

The company offers you one year warranty for your Zero B eco SMART. After expiry of warranty you can avail the option of entering into Annual Maintenance Contract with us. For more details, do remember to ask for your copy of the contract from the company before the warranty period gets over.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY
To avail the benefits of 3 free services, customer needs to register his/her details (Invoice number/ date of purchase / customer’s name / address / telephone number) at our Zero B Help Desk, or post or e-mail within 1 month from the date of purchase of the product.
The company’s liability under this warranty shall remain valid if, and only if the product is duly installed by the company at the address specified in the invoice or where the installation is at a place other than specified in the invoice, such installation is undertaken with the consent of and by the company.
The product is warranted against any manufacturing defect arising out of any faulty or defective material or workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.
The company’s responsibility will be either to repair the defective components or exclude defects occurring because of abuse or faulty maintenance. Repairs of goods or parts by other and consumable components such as Cartridge No. 1, 2, 3 are not covered under this warranty.

The customer will have no claim under this warranty in respect of death/injury to any person or loss/damage to any property caused as a result of equipment failure, breakdown or accident on utilization of goods not in accordance with the instructions I this user manual of any other circumstances beyond the control of the company. Any dispute arising out of this warranty will be settled in the courts at Mumbai city only.
The customer shall notify the company in writing promptly of any defects notified and shall give the company adequate time to inspect, test and rectify them for which the customer will deposit the product if so required by the company, to the company office/service center along with the warranty and proof of purchase.
Zero B reserves the right to make design and product changes, improves design or changes specifications at any time without contingent obligation to prospective buyers, or owners of product previous sold.
Under no circumstances, the terms mentioned above are negotiable by any Zero B employee or its authorised service provider.
The company will provide the service / installation within the municipal limits or network locations, outside the service area any service will be on chargeable basis.
