MBR UNIVERSAL REMOTE
NOTE: Your MBR model remote may not look exactly like the one below, but all functions for the MBR models are similar. The descriptions below refer to using the remote with Zenith products, non-Zenith products may behave differently.
CABLE
Selects Cable operation.
PRG (Program)
Programs remote to operate other products.
VCR
Selects VCR operation.
TV
Selects TV operation.
VOLUME Up/Down
Changes TV's sound level.
MUTE
Turns sound Off and On While picture remains.
NUMBERS
Selects channels directly and enter numeric values for some options.
MENU / RECORD
Displays on-screen menus for TV mode.
MEDIA CONTROLS
Controls media functions (VCR, DVD, CD, TAPE, etc.). These buttons will control the VCR when TV or VCR is the active component.

POWER
Turns TV On or Off.
CC (Closed Captioning) Displays closed caption menu.
CHANNEL (Up or Down)
Selects channels.
FLASBK (Flashback)
Returns to previous channel.
TV/VCR - Source
Steps through source options.
ENTER
Shows Channel/Time display. Press after channel numbers for fast selection.
QUIT/ PAUSE
Removes on-screen display from view. If no display is on, switches audio mode on some TVs.

Series Remote
POWER
Turns the active component on and off (see mode).
MODE
Sets which audio/video component the remote will control.
MUTE
Turns sound off and on while picture remains.
VOLUME (Left/Right)
Increases TV’s sound level.
ENTER
Shows Channel/Time, enters channel, or removes any on-screen menus.
QUIT/ (Three Functions Key)
Exits from on-screen display, turns the sound enhancement feature on or off, and switches audio between Main source and PIP source.
UP & DOWN ARROWS
Moves highlighted bar within menu to select an option.
CC
Displays closed caption options menu.
TV/VCR SOURCE
Steps through source options.
MEDIA CONTROLS
Controls VCR, DVD, CD, TAPE, etc. media functions. These buttons control the VCR when TV or VCR is the active component.
