Smart Alarm Alexa Skill User Guide
How to make my Smart Alarm work with Amazon Echo/Tap/Dot?
Step 1: Download and install Amazon
Alexa App to your smartphone.
Step 2: Log in the Amazon Alexa APP
using your Amazon account.
Step 3: Use the hamburger menu icon to go into the Skill page.
Step 4: Search “Smart Alarm” in the search bar to enable the
SSG Smart Alarm Skill.
Step 6: Tap “Grant” to link your Smart Alarm with your Amazon Alexa account, once your accounts have been linked succesfully, you should see a success screen, now you can start controllling the Smart Alarm with Echo/Tap/Dot using voice command, such as: “Alexa, tell Blue Dog to arm please”
Definition: This allows you to arm the system using voice control.
You can also get the SN by long pressing the device on the main control page of the Zemguard App,then tap “Copy the SN” on the pop-up menu.
Step 5: Enter your Smart Alarm’s SN and Password in the pop up window and tap “Sign In”. The SN of your Zemgo Device is the same as the Device name shown on page 4 Fig. 3.

The WIFI-enabled smart hub could be used for security alarm, elder care, and wireless doorbell. It allows you to get updates and change setting with smartphone anytime anywhere.

System Overview
Turn ON AP mode:
Press the button for 5s, the hub will come with a continuous beeping sound, blue light flash, then the WIFI hot spot is opened.
And then connect your cellphone to the WIFI hotspot named Sa****, the default password is 12345678.
Turn ON pairing mode/Reset: Turn on paring mode:Short press this button to turn ON pairing mode. Reset: Long press the button until 2 beeps heard.
Long press the button to turn on/off the machine.

APP and Smart Alarm pairing
1. Power on the smart alarm hub.
2. Turn on AP mode by long pressing button , when the blue light is quick blinking and the siren is beeping, it is under AP mode. Short press button to exit AP mode.
3. Find the WIFI hotspot that starts with “SAxxx” in your mobile phone WIFI list to connect to the hub, the default password is 12345678, AP mode will be on for 5 minutes and exit automatically.
Pairing/activate the Door / Window Contact (ZEM-1004)
1. Please make sure you have both pieces of the door / Window contact close together. (Fig. C)
2. Now you should separate both pieces of the Door / Window contact until you see a blue light from the contact and it will be followed by a beeping sound from the hub, this indicates that you have successfully paired the contact. (Fig. D)
Accessories
Remote Control (ZEM-1006)
The remote control is easy to carry, it can be used to set the system to Arm/Disarm/Home or activate an alarm at touch of the SOS button. You can also remote arm/disarm/bypass the system using smartphone APP.
Note: the gap between the transmitter and magnet should less than 1cm
Troubleshooting
1. The smart hub doesn’t respond to APP operation. a) Check whether the local network is working. b) Make sure the smartphone is connected to internet.
2. Remote control doesn’t work. a) Check if the remote control has been paired to the smart hub b) The distance between the smart hub and remote control is too far away.
3. Smart hub can’t respond to sensor/detector. a) Check whether the system is armed b) Check if the sensor/detector has been paired to the smart hub. c) Check if the sensor/detector is far away from the smart hub.
3. Fail to connect the smart hub to router. a) Make sure the smart hub is under AP mode and your smartphone is connected to the smart hub during WIFI setting. b) Reset the smart hub and try again.

How does it work?
4. Launch the Zemguard APP, tap the add button “+” and select “Cloud Security Alarm System”.
6. In order to setup the Zemgo Hub to your local Wi-Fi Settings, go into the Control Page by Tapping on the added device, tap the Setting button and select " Wi-Fi Setting" from the drop down list, Tap " Wi-Fi management". Here you will find a list of Wi-Fi selections, please choose your Wi-Fi router and include your Wi-Fi password. The blue light will flash once for around 5S and then it will show that you have connected your Zemgo hub successfully to your Wi-Fi router.
5. Tap “LAN search” and select the device ID from search result, enter device name and password, tap the confirm button to save. The initial password is
1234.
Note: The initial device password is 1234, the device name is user-defined
Tap the Device ID.
Keep in mind that your device ID located in this section will also be used as the SN number to Sync the device with Amazon Alexa, so please make sure that you take a note of this number. You will need it for the amazon Alexa sync on page 7.

Note: Make sure the smart hub is under AP mode and your smartphone is connected to the smart hub during WIFI setting.

Note: If your Android system’s smartphone can not make Amazon Alexa connect with Smart Alarm, please kindly complete the connection by your computer.
4) There are four modes for each sensor:
Normal: In arm mode, when normal sensors are triggered, system will alarm. In disarm mode, when normal sensors are triggered, system will not alarm.
Home (bypass): In home mode, only normal sensor will be triggered and home sensors will not be triggered while alarming, this will allow user to move freely at home.
24 hour: Regardlesss the system is armed or disarmed, when 24 hour sensors are triggered, system will alarm at once.
Delay: In arm mode, when delay sensors are triggerd, system will alarm after the entry delay time you have set.
1) The hub will recognize remote and doorbell button automatically, the other sensors you should edit the type after added.
2) You could rename the enrolled sensor to get a user-defined alert
3) You could disable/enable each sensor anytime anywhere
Edit/Delete accessories
Long press the accessories name on your spmartphone, then you can edit the accessories’ mode, type, name, or delete the accessories.

Pairing/activate the PIR (ZEM-1005)
In order to pair the PIR make sure you have removed any battery paper from the PIR. Then you will wave your hand in front of the PIR until you see a blue light from the PIR. Once you see this, it should be followed by a beeping sound from the hub that indicates that the PIR has been paired.
Pairing/activate the Key Fob (ZEM-1006)
In order to pair the Key Fob make sure you have removed any battery paper from the Key Fob. Press any button on the Key Fob then you will see a blue light come on from the Key Fob followed by a beeping sound from the hub that indicates that the Key Fob has been paired.
Pairing/activate Doorbell Transmitter (ZEM-1007)
In order to pair the Doorbell Transmitter make sure you have removed any battery paper from the it. Press the button on the Doorbell Transmitter then you will see a blue light come on from the Doorbell Transmitter followed by a beeping sound from the hub that indicates that the Doorbell Transmitter has been paired.
Method 2 (Fig. B): Start pairing mode from APP.activate the accessory and succeeded with a beep.

Change battery: anticlockwise to move and open the base cover to change

Doorbell Bell Transmitter (ZEM-1007)
The smart hub will ring when the doorbell button is pressed, and it will push an instant alert to your smartphone simultaneously.
Installation method:
APP Operation and Setting
System setting
Hooting time of siren: the time that siren will hoot while alarming, the initial time is 1 min. Arm delay: Exit delay gives you time to exit after arming. Alarm delay: Entry delay gives you time to disarm the system upon entry, before an alarm occurs. Only the delay sensors are invalid, the non delay sensors will be triggered normally. Timing arm/disarm: You can set up the system to arm/disarm automatically at a defined time every day. Prompt tone for remote: you can turn on/off the prompt tone while using remote control. Timing arm/disarm ON/OFF: Turn on/off timing arm/disarm. Language: change the notification language.
Server setting
*Important: modify the setting may cause fail of pushing notification.
Heartbeat time: the interval time of smart hub uploading data to server, default time is 60s. Server IP: the IP address of server Server Por: the port of server
Other operation and setting
WIFI setting: connect the smart hub WIFI.
AP setting: modify the name and password of hotspot.
Modify password: Modify the password of hub.
Add accessories Turn on pairing mode, activate the sensor to send a signal to the hub, you will hear a beep when the piaring is successful.
Sharing the device User could easily share the device with your loved ones by scanning the QR code.
Reset Press the pairing button for 5s to reset to default setting and succeeded with a long beep. After the reset, all accessories and WIFI information will be cleared.
The remote control is easy to carry, it can be used to set the system to Arm/Disarm/Home or activate an alarm at touch of the SOS button. You can also remote arm/disarm/bypass the system using smartphone APP.
Arm: All zones/sensors are armed Disarm: All zones / sensors are under the disarmed status, except the zones / sensors which is under 24-hours Arm mode. Home (bypass): All the zones/sensors are armed except the home mode sensors.
Contact Sensor (ZEM-1004)
The window/door sensor can be installed on doors, windows, and any other objects that can open and close. The sensor transmits signals to the control panel when a magnet mounted near the sensor is moved away.
Installation method: choose a proper way in your door/window, we suggest you do not mount the sensor on the door/window which made of metal, because it willl interfer the signal and shorten the distance of receive the signal. Clean up the place you want to mount the contact sensor, tear the tape.
PIR Motion Sensor (ZEM-1005)
The detector adopts digital logic control processing technology and intelligent analysis algorithm, effective resolution of interfering signal and human movement signal, preventing false alarm. It features automatic temperature compensation, and resistance to flow technology, adapting to environmental and temperature change. It can detect human movement within the 6-meter cone space, suitable or halls, hallways, etc.
Maintenance
The following suggestions will help prolong the service life of the system.
1. Keep this product and accessories out of children’s reach.
2. Keep the product and accessories dry. Rainwater, moisture and liquids are likely to contain minerals that will corrode electronic circuits.
3. Do not use or store the system in dusty or dirty places, otherwise it may damage the electronic components.
4. Do not expose the system to high temperature. High temperatures can shorten the life of electronic components, damage batteries, and cause melting deformation of plastic parts.
5. Do not store the system in cold areas. Otherwise, when the temperature of the alarm system rises to the normal level, moisture appears inside, damaging PCB.
6. Test the system regularly and perform troubleshooting in time.
7. Check the built-in batteries of accessories regularly. If the batteries are low, replace with new ones.
8. It is recommended to cut off the power if the system is not used for long time.
9. If the alarm system is covered with dirt, wipe off the dirt with soft cloth or tissue. For stains, apply diluted alkaline detergent to soft cloth, wring the clot out and wipe the product. Then, dry the product with dry absorbent cloth.
Please carefullly read and strictly follow the previous suggestions. If the product remains faulty, you can send it to the place of purchase or authorized maintenance center for maintenance. We will provide help as soon as possible.

Note: After paired successfully, the smart hub will stop beeping

“Alexa, tell Blue Dog to disarm”
Definition: This allows you to disarm the system using voice control.
“Alexa, ask Blue Dog state”
Definition: Alexa will be able to tell you what status the alarm is in. For example: " Alarmed" or "Disarmed".
“Alexa, tell Blue Dog ringing”
Definition: The hub will ring ding dong. This can be used to send an alert around the house. For example, in the morning the kids are still sleeping upstairs and it is time to get up for school and breakfast is ready. Then the parents can use this command to wake up the kids.
“Alexa, tell Blue Dog alarming”
Definition: The hub will sound an alarm. This is used like a panic button feature. If there is some type of emergency, you can say this command and the alarm will sound to advise someone in the house that there is something wrong.
“Alexa, tell Blue Dog to mute”
Definition: This will mute the alarm. So, when you have triggered the alarm with the "Alexa tell blue dog alarm” and you want to turn off the siren, you will use this feature.

Method 1 (Fig. A): Short press the pairing button on the hub to enter pairing mode,activate the accessory and succeeded with a beep.
