Bedienungsanleitung
Das ZM 9 ist mit einem handelsüblichen XLR-Stecker
(männlich) ausgestattet. Mit
einem normalen Mikrofonkabel kann es einfach an eine
PA-Anlage angeschlossen
werden. Schließen Sie das
Mikrofon nur an Mikrofoneingänge Ihrer PA-Anlage oder
an ähnliche Geräte (Kassettenrekorder, DAT-Rekorder,
etc.) an.
Achtung: Das Mikrofon niemals an einen Endstufenausgang anschließen. Ein lebensgefährlicher Stromschlag und
die Zerstörung des Mikrofons
können die Folge sein!
Beschreibung
Das Zeck ZM 9 ist ein dynamisches Mikrofon, das
hauptsächlich für Gesang entwickelt wurde. Aus der Nähe
besprochen bietet das ZM 9
den bekannten Nah-Besprechungseffekt, der von Sängern
gerne eingesetzt wird. Durch
die gute Übertragung der
hohen Frequenzen wird ein
klarer, offener und durchsetzungsfähiger Klang erreicht.
Die Nierencharakteristik vermindert Feedback-Probleme
in der Nähe von PA-Boxen
und Monitoren. Eine StoßAbsorption reduziert Handgeräusche.
Gebrauch des
Nahbesprechungseffekts
Der untere Frequenzgang des
ZM 9 ist von der Distanz
Schallquelle - Mikrofon abhängig. Bei einem Abstand der
Schallquelle von ca. 0,5 cm
wird ein maximaler Basspegel
erreicht. Der Basspegel wird
minimal, wenn die Entfernung
größer als 50 cm ist.
Gebräuchliche Anwendungen des Nahbesprechungseffektes sind:
1. Sänger bzw. Sprecher
sind nah am Mikrofon: die
Stimme klingt voluminöser.
2. Durch den geringen
Abstand Schallquelle Mikrofon wird die Feedbackgefahr noch einmal
zusätzlich verringert. Der
Augangspegel ist aufgrund
der Nahbesprechung höher,
so daß am Mischer die Verstärkung (Gain) zurückgenommen werden kann.
Dadurch wird das ganze
System weniger anfällig für
Feedbacks.
3. Bei einer Instrumentenabnahme kann der Nahbesprechungseffekt ebenfalls
genutzt werden. Klingt ein
Instrument dünn, wird durch
eine Verringerung des Abstandes zum Instrument
mehr Klangvolumen erreicht.
Ist das Instrument basslastig, muß der Abstand vergrößert werden (bis auf ca.
50 cm).
Garantie
Wir gewähren für das Zeck
ZM 9 eine Garantie von 2 Jahren ab Kaufdatum auf Verarbeitung und Material. Tritt ein
Defekt auf, wird das Mikrofon
repariert oder ausgetauscht
(nach unserer Wahl) ohne
Berechnung von Material und
Arbeitszeit. Bitte schicken Sie
das Mikrofon frei an den Zeck
Service, nur dann geht es
auch frei an Sie zurück. Die
Garantie schließt keine Fehler ein, die durch unsachgemäßen Gebrauch entstanden sind. Ein Reparaturversuch durch einen nicht von
Zeck autorisierten Servicebetrieb hat den Verlust der
Garantie zur Folge.

Mode d'emploi
Le ZM 9 Zeck est équipé d'une
fiche XLR (mâle) standard et
se branche à l'aide d'un câble
micro normal au système PA.
Veillez à ce que le micro soit
uniquement branché aux
entrées de votre système PA
ou tout appareil similaire
(enregistreur cassettes,
enregistreur DATetc.).
Attention: Ne branchez
jamais le micro à la sortie d'un
ampli. Une électrocution mortelle et la destruction du micro
pourraient en résulter.
Description
Le ZM 9 Zeck est un micro
dynamique, spécialement
conçu pour le chant et dont
l'effet de proximité est
particulièrement apprécié par
les chanteurs. La bonne
transmission des fréquences
hautes résulte dans un son
clair, ouvert et persistant; la
caractéristique cardioïde
permet de réduire les
problèmes de Larsen à
proximité des enceintes de
sonorisation ou de retours.
Une absorption de chocs
diminue les bruits dûs aux
manipulations.
L’utilisation de
l’effet de proximité
La bande de fréquences
basses du ZM 9 dépend de la
distance source-micro. Aune
distance d'environ 0,5 cm, le
niveau maximal des basses
est atteint par rapport à son
minimum se situant à plus de
50 cm d'éloignement.
Les utilisations de l'effet de
proximité sont les suivantes:
1. Le chanteur/orateur se
trouve proche du micro: le
timbre de sa voix est plus
volumineux.
2. La petite distance entre la
source et le micro réduit
encore d'avantage l'effet de
Larsen. L'effet de proximité
permet un niveau de sortie
plus élevé, ce qui résulte
dans une réduction de
l'amplification (gain) à la
table de mixage: le
système entier devient
moins fragile concernant
les feedbacks (Larsen).
3. L'effet de proximité peut
également jouer son rôle
lors d'une prise d'instruments. Un son faible obtient plus de volume en rapprochant le micro de l'instrument. Lorsqu'un instrument a trop de basses, il
suffit d'augmenter la
distance jusqu'à environ
50 cm.
Garantie
Le micro ZM 9 Zeck jouit d'une
garantie de deux ans à partir
de la date d'achat (finition et
matériel). En cas de panne, le
micro sera réparé ou échangé
en fonction de nos critères et
cela sans facturation ni du
matériel, ni du temps de travail. L'utilisateur enverra le
micro défectueux franco port
au SAV Zeck qui le renverra
également en franco port
après sa réparation. La garantie ne s'applique que dans le
cadre d'une utilisation normale. T out essai de réparation
par un service non-autorisé
par Zeck résulte dans la perte
de la garantie.

User’s Manual
The ZM 9 is equipped with a
XLR-type male connector,
which simply connects to the
microphone input of your PA
system (or any other audio
device like tape/DATrecorder)
by using a standard microphone cable.
Attention: never connect your
microphone to a power amplifier output as this might lead
to electrical shock and
destruction of the microphone!
An integrated switch allows to
turn the microphone on and
off.
Description
The Zeck ZM 9 is a dynamic
microphone designed primarily for vocal use. When used
close up, the ZM 9 exhibits the
proper amount of bass boost
(proximity effect) that vocalists
prefer. The high frequency
reproduction of the ZM 9 has
been contoured for a clean,
open sound that cuts through.
The cardioid polar pattern of
the ZM 9 allows to work even
near PAor monitor speakers
without increased danger of
feedback. An internal shock
mount system reduces handling noise.
Using the low frequency
responce (proximity effect)
The ZM 9's low-frequency response varies with distance
from the sound source to the
microphone. Maximum bass
response is produced at closeup distances with the microphone 1/4-inch from the sound
source. Minimum bass response is experienced at
distances greater than 2 feet.
Useful special effects can be
created by making creative
use of the ZM 9's proximity
effect:
1. By working closer to the
microphone, the human
voice will sound more robust.
2. In addition to the overall
low-feed-back characteristics
provided by the ZM 9's
polar pattern, using the ZM 9
in proximity furthermore
reduces the danger of feedback. The increased output
level, especially in the low
frequency range, allows to
reduce the mixer's input gain
setting, which results in less
unwanted pickup of distant
sound sources such as PA
and monitor speakers.
3. For the reproduction of acoustic instruments, the varying
bass response can be used
to achieve an even bass
reproduction by using the
microphone at a distance of
2 feet or more. Moving the
ZM 9 closer to the instrument
yields a more pronounced
low-frequency response.
Warranty (limited)
The Zeck ZM 9 microphone is
guaranteed for two years from
date of original purchase
against defects in workmanship and materials. If such
malfunction occurs, the microphone will be repaired or
replaced (at our option) without charge for materials or
labor if delivered prepaid to the
proper Zeck service facility.
The unit will be returned prepaid. Our warranty does not
cover the unit's finish or malfunction due to abuse or operation at other than specifed
conditions. Repair by other
than Zeck or its authorized
service agencies will void this
warranty.
