For the Configuration Without the Radio
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that can cause undesired operation.

The radiated output power of this internal wireless radio is far below the FCC radio frequency exposure limits. Nevertheless, this Bluetooth radio must be used in such a manner that the antenna is 2.5 cm (1 inch) or further from the human body such as with a belt clip or shoulder strap. Do not use the printer in an unauthorized manner.
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by Intermec could void the user’s authority to operate this equipment.

For the Compact Flash and PCMCIA Card Modules (802.11b) Configurations
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules and with RSS-210 of Industry Canada. Use of the PL4 with the Compact Flash or PCMCIA card radio module meets the FCC requirements for radio frequency radiation exposure when worn in the standard configuration. In this configuration, which applies whether you use the belt clip or shoulder strap, the face of the printer where the media comes out is facing away from you. You must use the standard configuration when wearing the printer.
The printer with this radio option has been SAR tested. The maximum SAR value measured was
1.1 W/kg (Compact Flash radio) and 1.04 W/kg (PCMCIA card radio) averaged over 1 gram.
Agency Approvals: See user’s guide instructions for handling, charging, and replacing batteries. Failure to follow those instructions can result in personal injury, fire, or battery explosion.
