WARNINGS
It is most important that this instruction book should be retained with the appliance for future
reference. Should the appliance be sold or transferred to another owner, or should you move house
and leave the appliance, always ensure that the book is supplied with the appliance in order that the
new owner can be acquainted with the functioning of the appliance and the relevant warnings.
If this appliance featuring magnetic door seals is to replace an older appliance having a spring lock
(latch) on the door or lid, be sure to make that spring lock unusable before you discard the old
appliance. This will prevent it from becoming a death-trap for a child.
These warnings are provided in the interest of safety. You must read them carefully before installing or
using the appliance.
General Safety
• This appliance is designed to be operated by
adults. Children should not be allowed to tamper
with the controls or play with the product.
• It is dangerous to alter the specifications or
modify this product in any way.
• Before any cleaning or maintenance work is carried
out, be sure to switch off and unplug the appliance.
• This appliance is heavy. Care should be taken
when moving it
• Ice lollies can cause frost burns if consumed
straight from the appliance.
• Take utmost care when handling your
appliance so as not to cause any damages to
the cooling unit with consequent possible
fluid leakages.
• The appliance must not be located close to
radiators or gas cookers.
• Avoid prolonged exposure of the appliance to
direct sunlight.
• There must be adequate ventilation round the
back of the appliance and any damage to the
refrigerant circuit must be avoided.
• For freezers only (except built-in models): an
ideal location is the cellar or basement.
• Do not use other electrical appliances (such
as ice cream makers) inside of refrigerating
appliances.
Service/Repair
• Any electrical work required to install this
appliance should be carried out by a qualified
electrician or competent person
• This product should be serviced by an authorized
Service Centre, and only genuine spare parts
should be used.
• Under no circumstances should you attempt to
repair the appliance yourself. Repairs carried out
by inexperienced persons may cause injury or
more serious malfunctioning. Refer to your local
Service Centre, and always insist on genuine
spare parts.
• This appliance contains hydrocarbons in its
cooling unit; maintenance and recharging must
therefore only be carried out by authorized
technicians.
Use
• The domestic refrigerators and freezers are
designed to be used specifically for the storage of
edible foodstuffs only.
• Best performance is obtained with ambient
temperature between +18°C and +43°C (class T);
+18°C and +38°C (class ST); +16°C and +32°C
(class N); +10°C and +32°C (class SN). The class
of your appliance is shown on its rating plate.
Warning: when the ambient temperature is not
included within the range indicated for the class of
this appliance, the following instructions must be
observed: when the ambient temperature drops
below the minimum level, the storage temperature
in the freezer compartment cannot be
guaranteed; therefore it is advisable to use the
food stored as soon as possible.
• Frozen food must not be re-frozen once it has
been thawed out.
• Manufacturers’ storage recommendations should
be strictly adhered to. Refer to relevant
instructions.
• The inner lining of the appliance consists of
channels through which the refrigerant passes. If
these should be punctured this would damage the
appliance beyond repair and cause food loss. DO
NOT USE SHARP INSTRUMENTS to scrape off
frost or ice. Frost may be removed by using the
scraper provided. Under no circumstances should
solid ice be forced off the liner. Solid ice should be
allowed to thaw when defrosting the appliance.
• Do not place carbonated or fizzy drinks in the
freezer as it creates pressure on the container,
which may cause it to explode, resulting in
damage to the appliance.

Ajtónyitás irányának megcserélése
MielŒtt a szereléshez hozzákezdene, áramtalanítsa
a készüléket.
Az ajtónyitás irányát az alábbi módon lehet
megcserélni:
1. Pattintsa ki a szellŒzŒrácsot (D)
2. Csavarozza le az alsó forgópántot (E) rögzítŒ
csavarokat.
3. Emelje le az ajtót a csapról (G), csavarozza le a
csapot , majd szerelje fel az ellenkezΠoldalra.
4. Vegye ki a két furatdugót (ha van), és tegye át a
az ellenkezΠoldalra.
5. Szerelje vissza az ajtót
6. Egy 10-es kulccsal csavarozza le a
forgópántcsapot (E) és tegye át az ellenkezŒ
oldalra.
7. Szerelje vissza az alsó forgópántot (E) az
ellenkezŒ oldalra, az elŒzŒleg kicsavarozott
csavarok segítségével. Húzza le a furatfedŒt (F)
a szellŒzŒrácsról (D) a nyíllal jelölt irányba és
tegye át a az ellenkezŒ oldalra.
8. Pattintsa a helyére a szellŒzŒrácsot (D).
9. Csavarja le a fogót. Szerelje vissza az ellenkezŒ
oldalra, miután egy ütéssel kinyitotta a
nyílásokat. A mellékelt tasakban található
süvegekkel takarja el a furatokat.
Figyelem:
Miután megcserélte az ajtó nyitásirányát,
ellenŒrizze, hogy a tömítŒ mág
gneses profil jól tapad-
e a szekrényhez. Ha a szobahŒmérséklet alacsony
(pl. télen), elŒfordulhat, hhogy mágnesprofil nem
fekszik fel tökéletesen az ajtókeretre. Ez esetben
vagy megvárja, hogy a tömítŒŒprofil magától
hozzáidomul a szekrényhez, vagy pedig egy
hajszárítóval óvatosan felmelegíti a tömítéést,
elŒsegítve ily módon annak gyorsabb illeszkedését.

Installation
• During normal operation, the condenser and
compressor at the back of the appliance heat up
considerably. For safety reasons, minimum
ventilation must be as shown in the instructions.
Attention: keep ventilation openings clear of
obstruction.
• Care must be taken to ensure that the appliance
does not stand on the electrical supply cable.
Important: if the supply cord is damaged, it must
be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent.
• If the appliance is transported horizontally, it is
possible that the oil contained in the compressor
flows in the refrigerant circuit. It is advisable to
wait at least two hours before connecting the
appliance to allow the oil to flow back in the
compressor.
• There are working parts in this product which
heat up. Always ensure that there is adequate
ventilation as a failure to do this will result in
component failure and possible food loss. See
installation instructions.
• Parts which heat up should not be exposed.
Wherever possible the back of the product
should be against a wall.
Environment Protection
This appliance does not contain gasses which
could damage the ozone layer, in either its
refrigerant circuit or insulation materials. The
appliance shall not be discarded together with
the urban refuse and rubbish. Avoid damaging
the cooling unit, especially at the rear near the
heat exchanger. Information on your local
disposal sites may be obtained from municipal
authorities. The materials used on this appliance
marked by the symbol are recyclable.
The symbol on the product or on its packaging
indicates that this product may not be treated as
household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to
the applicable collection point for the recycling of
electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring this
product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent
potential negative consequences for the
environment and human health, which could
otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste
handling of this product. For more detailed
information about recycling of this product, please
contact your local city office, your household waste
disposal service or the shop where you purchased
the product.

Figyelem
A készüléket úgy kell elhelyezni, hogy lehetséges
legyen annak a hálózati kikapcsolása; ezért a
villasdugónak a készülék beszerelése után is
hozzáférhetŒnek kell lennie.
Hátsó távtartók
A tájyékoztató anyag tasakában 2 db. távtartó is van
mellékelve, melyeket a hátulsó felsŒ sarkokra kell
szerelni.
Lazítsa meg a csavarokat, illessze a távtartókat a
csavar alá és húzza meg ismét a csavarokat.

Elektromos csatlakoztatás
MielŒtt a készülék csatlakozó dugóját csatlakoztatná
a fali dugaszoló aljzathoz, ellenŒrizze, hogy a helyi
hálózati feszültség megfelel-e a mıszaki adatokban
megadott feszülségértéknek. A feszülség +-6% kal
térhet el a megadott értéktŒl.
A megadottól eltérı feszültségı hálózatra csak
megfelelŒ adapter beiktatásával szabad rákötni a
készüléket.
A készüléket földelni kell.
A készülék elsŒ érintésvédelmi osztályú, csak
megfelelŒ védŒföldeléssel ellátott fali dugaszoló
aljzatról mıködtethetŒ.
A csatlakozó vezeték nem hosszabbítható meg. Ha
rövid, ki kell cserélni egy hosszabb kábelre vagy a
dugaszoló aljzatot kell áthelyezni, kizárólag
szakember segítségével.

Temperature regulation
The temperature is automatically regulated and can be
increased to achieve a higher temperature (warmer) by
rotating the thermostat knob towards minimum or
reduced (colder) by rotating the knob towards
maximum. However, the exact setting should be
chosen keeping in mina that the temperature inside the
refrigerator depends on:
room temperature;
how often the door is opened;
the quantity of food stored;
location of appliance.
A medium setting is generally the most suitable.
To stop operation, simply turn the thermostat knob to
position «G».
Fast freezing
For quick-freezing, press the N/S switch (C). The quickfreezing indicator light (B) will then light up.
Warning light
Warning light (A) lights up when the temperature inside
the freezer compartment has increased to a value
which might endanger the long-term storage of food in
the compartment. When the appliance is switched on
for the first time or when food is placed in the
compartment for freezing, it is normal for this light to
remain on until the temperature has reached the level
required for correct storage.
Cleaning the interior
Before using the appliance for the first time, wash
the interior and all internal accessories with lukewarm water and some neutral soap so as to remove
the typical smell of a brand-new product, then dry
thoroughly.
USE
This freezer has been marked with the symbol, which means that it is suited to the freezing of fresh
foods, the conservation of frozen foods and the production of ice-cubes.

Operation
Insert the power supply plug into the nearest wall
socket (the function indicator light (D) will light up
indicating that the freezer is receiving electrical
input.)
Turn the thermostat knob (E) to the right to a
medium setting (the temperature alarm light (A) will
light up).
To turn off the freezer, turn the thermostat knob to
the «G» position.
Do not use detergents or abrasive
powders, as these will damage the finish.

ÜZEMBEHELYEZÉS
Elhelyezés
A készüléket hŒforrásoktól (radiátorok, bojlerek,
közvetlen napfény, stb.) távol kell elhelyezni.
Biztosítsa, hogy a levegŒ szabadon, akadálytalanul
áramolhasson a készülék körül!
Az optimális hatásfok fenntartása érdekében a
minimális távolság a készülék legmagasabb pontja
és egy függŒ konyhaelem között legalább 100 mm
legyen (A. ábra). A legjobb elhelyezési módot a B.
ábra illusztrálja (függŒ elem nélkül).
Figyelem: tartsa a szellŒzŒnyílásokat elzáródásoktól
mentesen!
A két szabályozható láb segítségével állítsa

Freezing fresh food
The 4-star compartment is suitable for long
term storage of commercially frozen food, and for
freezing fresh food.
If the freezer has already been working for some time,
press the N/S switch at least 12 hours before
introducing the food into the freezer in order to ensure
better freezing results.
Place the food to be frozen in the compartment as
shown in figure.
In order to freeze the quantity indicated on the rating
plate, arrange the food directly in contact with the
cooling surfaces. If the food is frozen in the baskets, the
maximum quantity freezable is slightly less.
Important
When electrical current happens to be cut off, the
freezer door must not be opened. If the power failure is
short (up to 6-8 hours) and the freezer is full, there is no
risk that the food will spoil. If the power failure lasts
longer, the food must be consumed as rapidly as
possible, or otherwise cooked and re-frozen again.
Frozen food storage
When the freezer is being turned on for the first time, or
after a prolonged period of disuse, press the N/S switch
and then wait at least two hours before introducing the
food to be conserved. You may then repress the switch.
This two-hour waiting period may be avoided if the freezer
has already been in operation.
To obtain the best performance from this appliance, you
should:
if large quantities of food are to be stored, remove all
drawers and baskets from appliance (except for the last
one at the bottom) and place food on cooling shelves.
Pay careful attention not to exceed load limit stated on
the side of the upper section (where applicable).
Thawing out frozen foods
Frozen foods must be allowed to thaw out before use
either in the refrigerator (meat, poultry, fish, etc.) or at
room temperature (ali other foods) according to the
available time. Frozen products which come in smallsized or separate packages may be cooked directly
without thawing; obviously, in this case, the cooking
time will fast a little longer.
Ice-cube production
Fill the trays with water to 3/4 of their height, to permit
the expansion of the ice, then put them in the space
below the quick-freezing compartment (see the
diagram). If the water in your area is rich in minerai
salts (limestone, in particular), we advise you to use
noncarbonated mineral water for the production of ice
cubes. The ice-cubes may be shaken out of the plastic
trays with a slight twist.
Cold accumulators
2 cold accumulators are supplied in the freezer;
these increase the length of time for which food will
keep in the event of a power failure or breakdown.
They must be placed in the top drawer.

MÙKÖDÉSI ZAVAROK ELHÁRÍTÁSA
A készülék muködésében bekövetkezŒ problémák
esetén ellenŒrizze a következŒket:
• a készülék be van-e kapcsolva az áramba, az
elektromos hálózat fŒkapcsolója nincs-e
lekapcsolva
• a problémát megelŒzŒen nem volt-e áramszünet
• a hŒfokszabályozó a megfelelŒ helyzetre van-e
állítva.
• ha a rekeszek alján víz gyılt össze, ellenŒrizze,
hogy a lefolyó nyílása nincs-e eldugulva
• Amennyiben a probléma az elvégzett
ellenŒrzések után is fennáll, kérje a legközelebbi
javítószervíz segítségét!
A minél gyorsabb hibaelhárítás érdekében adja meg
a jótállási jegyen, illetve a készülék belsŒ, bal
oldalának alsó részén elhelyezett adattáblán
található modell- és szériaszámot.
