Important safety information

Installation

• This appliance is heavy. Care should be taken when moving it.

• Any electrical work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person.

• Care must be taken to ensure that the appliance does not stand on the electrical supply cable.

• If the machine is situated on a carpeted floor, please adjust the feet in order to allow air to circulate freely.

Use

• Do not overload the appliance (see programme chart).

• Clothes which are dripping wet should not be placed in the dryer.

• As some bulky items such as duvets and eiderdowns should be dried in large commercial machines because of their bulk, check with the manufacturer of the item if it is suitable for drying in a domestic machine, even if the dry weight of the item is within the limit advised.

• Please make sure that no gas lighters have accidentally been left in pockets of garments to be loaded into appliance.

• Danger of explosion: Never tumble dry items that have been in contact with inflammable solvents (petrol, methylated spirits, dry cleaning fluid and the like). As these substance are volatile, they could cause an explosion. Only tumble dry items washed with water.

• Risk of fire: items that have been spotted or soaked with vegetable or cooking oil constitute a fire hazard and should not be placed in the tumble dryer

• If you have washed your laundry with stain remover you must execute an extra rinse cycle before loading your tumble dryer.

• In order to avoid danger of fires caused by excessive drying, do not use appliance to dry the following items:

Cushions, quilts and the like (these items accumulate heat). Items containing rubber foam or materials similar to rubber foam.

• Leave the door slightly ajar when the appliance is not being used. This will allow the seal to be preserved.

• Clean fluff filters after using tumble dryer. To prevent fire risks, do not use the appliance if the fluff filters are damaged.

• Do not allow fluff to accumulate around the dryer.

General safety

• It is dangerous to alter the specifications or attempt to modify this product in any way.

• •Under no circumstances should you attempt to repair the machine yourself. Repairs carried out by inexperienced persons may cause injury or serious malfunctioning. Contact your local Service Centre. Always insist on genuine Electrolux spare parts.

Child safety

• Children are often not aware of how dangerous electrical appliances can be. When the machine is working, children should be carefully supervised and not be allowed to play with the appliance.

• The packaging components (e.g. plastic film, polystyrene) can be dangerous to children - danger of suffocation! Keep them out of children’s reach.

• Make sure that children or pets do not climb into the drum.

• When the appliance is to be scrapped, cut off the electrical supply cable and destroy the plug with the remaining cable. Disable the door catch in order to prevent children from becoming trapped inside while playing.

These warnings have been provided in the interest of safety. You MUST read them carefully before installing or using the appliance.

• Packaging materials

The materials marked with the symbol are recyclable. This means that they can be recycled by disposing

of them properly in appropriate collection containers.

Check with your local Council or Environmental Health Office to see if there are facilities in your area for re-cycling this appliance.

When the appliance is to be scrapped, cut off the power supply cable and make the door closing device unusable to prevent young children from being trapped inside

Description of the appliance

To save energy and to help protect the environment, we recommend that you follow these hints:

• Try to load the maximum capacity of the machine as small loads are uneconomical.

• Always load well spun laundry. The higher the spin speed, the lower the electricity consumption and the shorter the drying times.

• Do not over-dry laundry, this avoids creasing and saves energy. Select the drying time/section according to the type of laundry and the required degree of dryness.

• To utilize the maximum load, laundry which is to be dried ready to put away (store dry) can be dried together with items to be ironed. To do this, select the time for iron-dry, remove the iron-dry items at the end of the programme and then finish-dry the rest of the load.

• Clean the filters regularly to avoid excessive drying times and high electricity consumption.

• Ventilate the room well. The room temperature should not exceed +35°C during drying.

Adjusting the level of conductivity

Water contains, a variable quantity of limestone and mineral salts of which quantities vary according to geographical locations thus varying its conductivity values.

Relevant variations of the conductivity of the water compared to those prefixed by the factory could slightly influence the residual humidity of the laundry at the end of the cycle.

Your dryer allows you to regulate the sensitivity of the drying sensor based on conductivity values of the water by using the following procedure.

Procedure:

Turn the programme selector dial to switch on the appliance In selection mode press simultaneously the buttons 3 and 6 until «

C0» appears on the digits.

Adjusting the level of conductivity:

Press button 5 sequentially: the level of conductivity is indicated by the lighting of the horizontal hyphens.

Normally, the appliance is factory-set to the highest level; however, certain models may be configured differently.

Memorizing the new setting:

Simultaneously press down the buttons 3 and 6 until the previous drying cycle time appears again on the display and the buzzer sounds.

Installation

Should the appliance be moved, it must be transported vertically.

Positioning

It is recommended that, for your convenience, the machine is positioned close to your washing machine. The tumble dryer must be installed in a clean place, where dirt does not build up.

Air must be able to circulate freely all round the appliance. Do not obstruct the front ventilation grille or the air intake grilles at the back of the machine.

To keep vibration and noise to a minimum when the dryer is in use, it should be placed on a firm, level surface. Once in its permanent operating position, check that the dryer is absolutely level with the aid of a spirit level. If it is not, raise or lower the feet until it is.

The feet must never be removed. Do not restrict the floor clearance through deep-

pile carpets, strips of wood or similar. This might cause heat build-up which would interfere with the operation of the appliance.

Important

The hot air emitted by the tumble dryer can reach temperatures of up to 60°C. The appliance must therefore not be installed on floors which are not resistant to high temperatures.

When operating the tumble dryer, the room temperature must not be lower than +5°C and higher than +35°C, as it may affect the performance of the appliance.

Electrical connection

This machine is designed to operate on a 220-230 V, single-phase, 50 Hz supply.

Check that your domestic electrical installation can take the maximum load required (2.2 kW), also taking into account any other appliances in use.

Connect the machine to an earthed socket, in accordance with current wiring regulations.

The manufacturer declines any responsibility for damage or injury through failure to comply with the above safety precaution. Should the appliance power supply cable need to be replaced, this must be carried out by our Service Centre.

Important!

The power supply cable must be accessible after installing the machine.

Stacking kit

A special stacking kit is available through your dealer, to enable the mounting of the dryer on top of a front loading washing machine with cover’s depth between 48 and 60 cm.

Read carefully the instructions supplied with the kit.

Door reversal

To make it easier to load or unload the laundry the door can be reversed.

This operation must be carried out by qualified personnel.

Please contact the nearest Service Centre.

1 Programme guide

This will help you to select the correct programme for drying.

2 DOOR OPENING button

Press this button to open the door. The light above the button will light up.

Opening the door by means of this button is possible only if the tumble dryer is on (programme selector dial set to a programme or drying time).

If you open the door during a programme, in order to restart the programme you must re-press the START/PAUSE button again after having closed the door.

Buzzer OFF button

A buzzer sounds

• when selecting the programme

• when depressing the buttons

• when an incorrect option selection is made

• when the programme selector dial is turned to another position during the programme or when you depress an option button during the cycle

• during the anticrease phase

• at the end of the programme

• when the water reservoir is full

• if the machine is not working correctly

• when the small door at the bottom is open

By depressing button the acoustic signal is switched off.

The corresponding light comes on.

4 Quick drying button

By depressing this button the drying time is reduced in the following COTTON programmes:

• extra dry

• ready to wear

• store dry The corresponding light illuminates. This option cannot be selected together with “low temperature” function .

5 Low temperature button

Pressing this button allows drying to be performed at a lower temperature, for delicate items. The corresponding pilot light comes on. This option can also be used for time controlled drying. This function cannot be used with QUICK DRYING.

6 DELAYED START button

This button allows you to delay the starting of the programme by 12 hours max.

This option must be selected after having selected the programme and before pressing START/PAUSE

to start the programme.

Every time the button is pressed, the time is increased by 30 minutes, until the display shows a delay of “2 hours”. After this, the delay is displayed hour by hour.

The minutes or hours of delay that have been selected are displayed for 2 seconds, then the display shows the duration of the previously selected programme.

The countdown begins after you have pressed the START/PAUSE button.

To cancel the delay time press the DELAYED START button until the display indicates

START/PAUSE button again. When the delay is cancelled, the display shows the

duration of the programme. During the delayed start, it is not possible to change

the programme or the delay time that have been selected. To do this, you must first switch off the machine by setting the programme selector dial to “0”. Select the new programme, the options and the delayed start, then press the START/PAUSE button.

To cancel or change options that have been selected, simply set the appliance to PAUSE. Once you perform the desired operation, press once again the START/PAUSE button.

If you wish to add more laundry while the machine is performing the countdown, simply open the door. When you close the door, press the START/PAUSE button again to cause the countdown to be resumed.

7 DISPLAY

The display shows the following information:

• duration of selected programme

• delayed start

• end of programme

• incorrect option selection

• alarm code

• Duration of selected programme After you have selected the programme, its duration (in hours and minutes) appears on the display. It is calculated automatically on the basis of the maximum load accepted for each type of fabric and of the required degree of drying.

When the programme starts, the remaining time is displayed every 5 minutes.

• Delayed start If you have selected a delay time by means of the relevant button, the display shows it for 2 seconds; then it shows the duration of the previously selected programme.

The countdown is displayed every 30 minutes until it displays “90 minutes” and then hour by hour.

• End of programme A flashing zero indicates the end of the programme and it is displayed after the “anticreasing” phase.

• Incorrect option selection If you select an option that is not compatible with the programme you have selected, the display shows Err (error).

This code will reappear during the execution of the programme if you press one of the option buttons or turn the programme selector. The same code will appear again also when you push the Start/Pause button while the door and small door are opened.

• Alarm code In case of a functional anomaly, the display shows an alarm code (e.g. E21). See page 14 for more detailed information.

8 Start/Pause button

Press this button to start the dryer after having selected the programme and the options. The relevant light will stop flashing. If you have chosen a delayed start, the machine will begin the countdown.

If the door of the appliance or the small door at the bottom is opened while the programme is running, this button must be pressed again after closing the door in order to restart the programme from the point at which it was interrupted.

This button must be depressed also after a power failure and after having re-inserted the water reservoir, if it has been emptied in the middle of a programme after lighting up of light

In both cases the light of the Start/Pause button flashes to remind you that the start button needs to be pressed again.

9 Indicator lights

These lights indicate the following functions:

“Drying” light

This light indicates that the appliance is in the drying phase.

“Cooling” light

This light indicates that the appliance is in the cooling phase. At the end of drying, there is a 10 minute cooling phase to cool the laundry.

“End of programme” light

This light is on at the end of the cooling phase, during the anti-creasing phase and at the end of the programme.

“Filter cleaning” light

This light illuminates at the end of the programme to remind you that the filters must be cleaned.

“Water reservoir full” light

This light comes on at the end of the programme to remind you that the water reservoir must be emptied out. If this light illuminates during a programme this means that the water reservoir is full. The buzzer sounds, the programme stops, the light of the Start/Pause button flashes.

“Condenser cleaning” light

It comes on every 80 cycles to remind you that the condenser must be cleaned.

10 Programme/Time selector dial

Allows you to select electronically controlled or time controlled drying.

Turn the dial to the required programme or time.

Electronically controlled drying (automatic)

The appliance runs these programmes with the help of probes which detect the degree of dampness of the laundry. Simply select the programme according to the type of laundry and degree of drying required.

Time controlled drying

Can be used to finish off drying if necessary. Select the 90 or 60 minute programme for cottons or the 30 minute programme for synthetics.

To cancel a programme which is running, turn the programme selector dial to “0”.

At the end of drying, turn the selector dial to “0” to switch the machine off before removing the laundry.

Fresh & Cool

This position on programme selector dial can be used to freshen the laundry (e.g. to remove a persistent odour of moth-balls). Programme duration 10 mins.

Load

It is often difficult to estimate the weight of items to be dried. We therefore recommend that you adopt the following guidelines:

• cotton, linen: drum full but not too tightly packed;

• synthetics: drum no more than half full;

• delicate fabrics: drum no more than one third full.

Before using your tumble dryer for the first time, we recommend to place a few damp cloths inside the appliance and dry for 30 minutes.

There may be dust inside a brand new tumble dryer.

Drying

1. Connect the appliance.

2. Open the door (see picture).

3. Load the items one at a time, shaking them out loosely.

4. Close the door. Please check the laundry does not get caught between the door and filter.

5. Select the drying programme or time. The lights

, and come on. The light of the START/PAUSE button flashes and the display shows the duration of the programme.

6. If required, press the low temperature button and/or the buzzer OFF button or the QUICK drying button .

7. Select the DELAYED START if required. The selected delay appears on the display for 2 seconds, then the duration of the selected programme is displayed.

8. Press the Start button : the corresponding light stops flashing and drying starts. Only the light remains lit. If you have selected the delayed start, the machine begins its countdown.

If the programme selector dial is turned to another position, when the machine is running, the buzzer will sound, the programme phase indicator lights will flash and Err appears on the display.

The drum turns alternately in both directions during drying.

All drying programmes end with a 10 minute cooling phase (light is on). You may remove the laundry after this phase.

The lights , and illuminate. The display shows a static zero and the buzzer

sounds.

9. If the laundry is not removed at the end of the

cycle, the dryer performs an anti-creasing phase (duration: 30 minutes maximum).

If you do not remove the laundry, the dryer will stop automatically at the end of the anti-creasing phase. Lights , and remain lit and the buzzer sounds every 10 seconds for 2 minutes.

The light of the START/PAUSE button goes off and a flashing zero appears on the display.

10. Turn the programme selector dial to “0”; all the

lights go out. The appliance is switched off. Remove the laundry.

If you open and then close the door before turning the selector dial to “0” all the lights corresponding to the phases making up the performed programme come on and the display shows the duration of the programme.

After each use

• Clean the filters (see page 13).

• Empty the water reservoir (see page 14).

Important!

If the drying programme has to be stopped before it reaches the end, we recommend that you turn the programme selector dial to position and wait until the end of this cooling phase before removing the laundry. This will avoid a build-up of heat inside the appliance.To do this first turn the dial to “0” and then to and depress Start button

Modifying the programme

To change a programme which is running, first cancel it by turning the programme selector dial to “0”. Select the new programme and press the Start button .

Useful hints

• Try to load to the maximum capacity of the

machine as small loads are uneconomical. For information, here is a list of the average weights of some common laundry items.

• Never tumble dry the following:

Particularly delicate items such as net curtains, woollen, silk, fabrics with metal trim, nylon tights, bulky materials such as anoraks, blankets, eiderdowns, sleeping bags, feather quilts and any items containing rubber foam or materials similar to rubber foam.

• Always follow the instructions on garment labels:

may be tumble dried normal drying (high temperature) delicate drying (low temperature) do not tumble dry

• Close pillowcases and covers with fasteners to

prevent small laundry items getting tangled inside them. Close press studs, zips and hooks and tie belts and apron strings.

• Sort laundry according to type and degree of

drying required.

• Do not over-dry laundry, this avoids creasing and

saves energy.

• Avoid drying dark clothes with light coloured fluffy items such as towels as they could attract the fluff.

• The laundry must be thoroughly spun before tumble drying.

• Easy-care items, too, e.g. shirts, should be briefly pre-spun before drying (depending on crease resistance approx. 30 seconds or using the special brief spin programme of your washing machine).

• Knitted textiles (knitted underwear) may shrink a little during drying. Please do not overdry items of this type. It is advisable to allow for shrinkage when choosing the size of new purchases.

• You can also put starched items into your dryer. However, to achieve the desired starched effect, choose the programme “iron dry”. To remove any starch residues, wipe out the internal drum after drying with a moist cloth and then rub it dry.

• To avoid a static charge when drying is completed, use either a fabric softener when you are washing the laundry or a fabric conditioner specifically for tumble dryers.

• Remove the laundry when the dryer has finished drying.

• If individual items are still damp after drying, set a brief post-drying time, but at least 30 minutes. This will be necessary particularly for multilayered items (e.g. collars, pockets, etc.).

Maintenance and Cleaning

You must disconnect the appliance from the electricity supply, before you can carry out any cleaning or maintenance work.

External cleaning

Use only soap and water and then dry thoroughly. Important: do not use methylated spirit, diluents or

similar products.

Cleaning the door

Clean periodically the interior part of the door to remove any fluff from the seals around the filter. Accurate cleaning ensures correct drying.

Cleaning the filters

Your dryer will only function well if the filters are clean.

The filters collect all the fluff which accumulates during drying and they must therefore be cleaned at the end of each programme, before removing the laundry, with a damp cloth. The light is on to remind you this operation.

The filter in the inner door must be removed for cleaning.

Do not be alarmed by the amount of fluff. It is not due to excessive wear caused by the dryer. All fabric loses fluff when drying but it goes un-noticed in the air. In a tumble dryer it simply collects in the filter.

After a while, a withish patina due to detergent residue on laundry forms on the filters. When this occurs, clean the filters with warm water using a brush. Remove the filter in the door opening as per picture (it can be positioned with the tooth facing to the left or to the right).

Do not use the appliance without filters.

Cleaning the condenser unit

Clean the condenser when light comes on. The condenser is situated at the lower part of the

cabinet behind a small door. To open the door, push the catch as per picture.

During the drying cycle or at the end, it is normal for water to be present on the surface of the condenser insertion. To pull out the condenser, first turn the two red stops downwards and then remove the condenser unit holding it at the handle.

Clean it with a brush and rinse it under the shower if necessary.

Also clean the outside, removing all fluff. Clean the rubber seal round the condenser cabinet

and in the inner part of the small door with a damp cloth.

Important! Do not use pointed objects or utensils to clean the spaces between the plates, as this could damage the condenser and make it permeable.

Re-fit the condenser, turn the red stops upwards and close the door.

Do not use this appliance if the condenser has not been fitted.

Emptying the water reservoir

Water extracted from the laundry condenses inside the machine and is collected in a reservoir. The reservoir must be emptied after each drying cycle to ensure efficient operation when the machine is next used. The pilot light reminds you this operation.

Proceed as follows:

•Pull out the reservoir

•Turn it upside down and let water flow down

•Re-fit the reservoir

The reservoir must be re-inserted correctly.

If this is not done the pilot light comes on during next drying and the programme stops, leaving the laundry damp. The buzzer will sound.

Cleaning the air intake grille

Using a vacuum cleaner remove the fluff from the air intake grille at the back of the appliance.

Cleaning the drum

When your laundry does not reach the desired degree of dryness, in other words, when it turns out either too dry or too damp, we advise you to clean the inside of the drum with a cloth soaked with vinegar.

This will eliminate the slight patina that has formed in the drum (due to residues of detergent and softeners used in the washing, and to the lime contained in the water), which prevents the probes from detecting the correct degree of dryness.

Avertissements et conseils importants

Installation

●

Si l'installation électrique de votre habitation nécessite une modification pour le branchement de votre appareil faites appel à un électricien qualifié.

●

Assurez-vous, après avoir installé l'appareil, que celui-ci ne repose pas sur le câble d'alimentation.

●

Si le sèche-linge est installé sur un sol recouvert de moquette, réglez les pieds de façon à ce que l’air puisse circuler librement autour de l’appareil.

Utilisation

●

Votre appareil est destiné à un usage domestique. Ne l’utilisez pas à des fins commerciales ou industrielles ou pour d’autres buts que celui pour lequel il a été conçu.

●

Débranchez toujours l'appareil après son utilisation.

●

N'introduisez jamais dans l'appareil du linge simplement égoutté.

●

Ne séchez pas d'articles ayant été traités avec des produits chimiques, tels que les produits utilisés pour le nettoyage à sec, car ils pourraient provoquer une explosion.

• Risque d'incendie : ne faites pas sécher dans votre appareil du linge qui a été taché ou imbibé d'huile végétale ou d'huile de cuisson.

• Risque d'incendie : si vous avez prétraité votre linge avec du détachant (spray ou liquide) avant lavage, effectuez un cycle de rinçage supplémentaire avant de le charger dans votre séche linge.

Contrôlez qu'un briquet n'est pas resté dans une poche.

Ne séchez en aucun cas des chaussures (tennis,etc.), car elles pourraient s’encastrer entre le hublot et le tambour, bloquant ce dernier.

Laissez la porte entrouverte lorsque le sèchelinge n'est pas utilisé, mais veillez à ce que les enfants ne s'enferment pas dans l'appareil.

●

Les filtres doivent être nettoyés après chaque utilisation. N'utilisez jamais l'appareil avec des filtres endommagés ou sans filtres. Cela pourrait provoquer un incendie.

●

Evitez l’accumulation de poussière autour de l’appareil pour permettre à l’air de circuler librement.

Sécurité

●

Il est dangereux de modifier ou d'essayer de modifier les caractéristiques techniques de cet appareil.

●

N'essayez jamais de réparer l'appareil vousmême. Les réparations effectuées par du personnel non qualifié peuvent provoquer des dommages importants.

Sécurité des enfants

Si vous procédez à la mise à la casse de votre appareil, veillez à mettre hors d'usage ce qui pourrait représenter un danger: coupez le câble d'alimentation au ras de l'appareil et détériorez le dispositif de fermeture de la porte. Vous éviterez ainsi que les enfants s’y enferment en se mettant ainsi en danger de mort.

Recyclage

Recyclage de l’emballage

Tous les matériaux marqués par le symbole sont recyclables. Pour qu’ils puissent être récupérés (recyclés), il est nécessaire de les déposer dans les déchetteries prévues à cet effet (renseignez-vous auprès des autorités locales).

Mise à la casse de l’ancien appareil

Conseils écologiques

Afin de réaliser des économies d’énergie, nous vous conseillons de respecter les instructions suivantes:

Utilisez si possible l’appareil à pleine capacité; des charges partielles sont peu économiques.

●

Tout le linge à sécher doit être essoré avant d'être introduit dans le tambour. Plus la vitesse d'essorage sera importante, plus courte sera la durée du séchage d'où économie d'énergie.

●

Evitez de sécher le linge trop longtemps: choisissez le temps/secteur de séchage en fonction de la nature des textiles et du degré de séchage désiré.

●

Pour utiliser l'appareil à pleine capacité vous pouvez sécher en une fois du linge “prêt à ranger” avec du linge “prêt à repasser”. Sélectionnez le temps de séchage pour “prêt à repasser” et à la fin du programme retirez ce linge. Complétez le programme en sélectionnant un temps supplémentaire pour le linge “prêt à ranger”.

●

Nettoyez régulièrement les filtres pour éviter des temps de séchage trop longs: vous économiserez de l’énergie.

●

Qualité de séchage : réglage de la conductivité

Suivant les localités, l'eau contient une quantité variable de sels calcaires et minéraux qui détermine différents niveaux de conductivité de l'eau.

Le capteur de détection d'humidité résiduelle de votre sèche linge est sensible à ce niveau de conductivité de l'eau.

Le réglage standard du capteur est défini pour une eau de conductivité standard.

Suivant la conductivité de l'eau de votre installation, il se peut que le réglage standard ne donne pas satisfaction en retrouvant par exemple du linge humide pour un cycle automatique de coton sec sélectionné.

Dans ce cas, il s'avère nécessaire de modifier ce réglage pour obtenir le niveau de séchage attendu.

Pour effectuer cet ajustement effectuez les réglages suivants :

En mode sélection pressez les touches 3 et 6 ensemble jusqu'a l'apparition de <<CO>> sur l'écran digital.

Attention!

Débridage

Enlevez le sachet en polyéthylène avec le rembourrage en polystyrène avant d’utiliser l’appareil pour la première fois.

Enlevez le ruban adhésif da la partie supérieure á l’intérieur da tambour.

Si l’appareil doit être déplacé par la suite, il devra être transporté verticalement.

Emplacement

L’installation de votre appareil nécessite un local convenablement aéré.

Pour que l’appareil fonctionne dans les meilleures conditions, il est indispensable de le mettre parfaitement de niveau (emploi d’un niveau à bulle) en agissant sur les quatre pieds réglables.

Un fonctionnement correct exige une arrivée d’air exempte de poussière, ainsi qu’une évacuation de l’air chaud à travers les fentes d’aération situées à l’avant, en bas, dans le socle du sèche-linge.

Ne démontez pas les pieds, ne limitez pas la circulation de l’air au sol par des tapis à longs poils, des moulures, etc. Il pourrait se produire une

accumulation de chaleur qui nuirait au bon fonctionnement du moteur ou risquerait de l’endommager.

Remarque:

La chaleur dégagée par le sèche-linge peut atteindre jusqu’à 60°C. Tenez compte de ce facteur lors de l’installation de l’appareil sur des revêtements de sol sensibles.

Pendant le fonctionnement du sèche-linge, la température ambiante ne doit pas être inférieure à +5°C ou supérieure à +35°C pour ne pas compromettre le bon fonctionnement de l’appareil.

L’air doit pouvoir circuler librement à l’arrière de l’appareil. Les grilles d’aspiration ne doivent pas être

obstruées.

Raccordement électrique

Ce sèche-linge ne peut être branché qu'en 220-230V/ 50 Hz, 10 A.

Vérifiez que le compteur et les fusibles peuvent supporter l'intensité absorbée par l'appareil (2.2 kW), en tenant compte des autres appareils électriques branchés.

Utilisez un socle de prise de courant comportant une borne de mise à la terre qui doit être obligatoirement raccordée conformément aux normes en vigueur.

Notre responsabilité ne saurait être engagée en cas d'incident ou d'accident provoqué par une mise à la terre défectueuse ou inexistante. Le remplacement éventuel du câble d’alimentation ne devra être effectué que par notre service après-vente.

Important! Le câble d’alimentation doit être facilement

accessible après l’installation de l’appareil.

Installation en colonne

Ce sèche-linge peut être installé en colonne sur certains lave-linge de notre marque à chargement frontal ayant une profondeur du couvercle entre 48 et 60 cm. La fixation de ces deux appareils s'effectue à l'aide du kit vendu sur demande. Ce kit est à commander auprès de votre revendeur. Les instructions de montage se trouvent dans l'emballage. Veuillez les lire attentivement.

Réversibilité de la porte

Si nécessaire, le sens d’ouverture de la porte peut être changé de droite à gauche.

Cette opération ne doit être effectuée que par un technicien qualifié.

Pour ce faire adressez-vous au service après-vente le plus proche de votre domicile.

1 Guide des programmes

Il vous aidera à choisir le programme convenant le mieux à votre linge.

2 Touche “ouverture porte”

Appuyez sur cette touche pour ouvrir la porte. Le voyant correspondant s'allume.

Cela n’est possible que lorsque la machine est sous tension (manette du programmateur sur un programme/temps de séchage).

Si la porte est ouverte en cours de programme, celui-ci s’interrompt. Pour faire redémarrer le programme après fermeture de la porte il faut enclencher la touche DEPART/PAUSE.

Touche suppression alarme

Des signaux sonores retentissent

• lors de la sélection du programme et l'enclenchement des touches

• en cas de sélection erronée des options

• si l’on essaie de changer le programme ou les options en cours de programme

• durant la phase «anti-froissage»

• à la fin du programme

• lorsque le bac d’eau de condensation est plein

• en cas d’anomalie de fonctionnement

• lorsque le portillon en bas est ouvert.

Enclenchez cette touche lors de la programmation si vous souhaitez supprimer l’alarme

Le voyant correspondant s’allume.

4 Touche programme rapide

En appuyant sur cette touche on obtient une réduction de la durée dans les programmes “coton”

• très sec

• sec

• prêt à ranger Cette fonction n’est pas compatible avec l’option

“séchage délicat” .

5 Touche séchage délicat

L’enclenchement de cette touche permet d’effectuer un séchage à une température inférieure pour du linge délicat. Le voyant correspondant s’allume. Cette option est utilisable aussi dans le séchage chronométrique. Si la touche n’est pas enclenchée le chauffage s’effectuera à pleine puissance. Cette option n’est pas compatible avec l’option “rapide” .

6 Touche départ différé

Le départ différé vous permet de retarder le départ d’un programme jusqu’à 12 heures (pour profiter éventuellement d’un tarif de nuit avantageux).

Il faut appuyer sur cette touche après avoir sélectionné le programme souhaité et avant d'appuyer sur la touche “départ/pause” .

A chaque pression de la touche le temps augmente de 30 minutes jusqu’à affichage de “2 heures”, ensuite il s’affiche d’heure en heure.

Le nombre de minutes ou d’heures au bout desquelles vous souhaitez que le programme commence apparaît sur l'écran d'affichage pendant 2 secondes environ. La durée du programme s'affiche ensuite.

• Départ différé

Si on a sélectionné cette option à l’aide de la touche correspondante (12 heures maximum), le nombre d’heures ou de minutes au bout desquelles vous souhaitez que le programme commence apparaît sur l’écran pendant 2 secondes environ. La durée du programme s’affiche ensuite.

Le décompte s’actualise toutes les 30 minutes jusqu’à affichage de “90 minutes” et ensuite toutes les heures.

• Fin du programme

Un zéro clignotant apparaît sur l’écran à la fin du

programme après la phase anti-froissage.

• Sélection erronée des options

Si lors de la sélection du programme de séchage vous choisissez une option non compatible avec ce programme, le code Err apparaît sur l’écran d’affichage.

Ce code apparaît aussi en cours de programme si vous enclenchez une des touches ou si l’on tourne la programmateur sur une autre position.

• Code d’alarme

En cas d’anomalie de fonctionnement un code d’alarme apparaît sur l’écran (p.ex. E21). Voir

Pour annuler le départ différé, appuyez sur la touche DEPART/PAUSE, appuyez ensuite sur la touche DEPART DIFFERE jusqu’à ce que le symbole

PAUSE. En annulant le départ différé, l'écran affiche la durée

du programme de séchage préalablement sélectionné.

Durant la durée du départ différé il n’est pas possible de changer le programme sélectionné ou le départ différé. Si cela est nécessaire, tournez le programmateur sur “O”, sélectionnez le nouveau programme et les options souhaitées, affichez le nombre de minutes ou d’heures au bout desquelles vous souhaitez que le programme commence et appuyez sur la touche DEPART/PAUSE.

Si vous devez ouvrir la porte pour ajouter d’autre linge, appuyez de nouveau sur la touche DEPART/PAUSE après fermeture de la porte pour que le décompte recommence.

7 Ecran d’affichage

L’écran fournit les informations suivantes:

• Durée du programme choisi

• Départ différé

• Fin du programme

• Sélection erronée des options

• Code d’alarme

• Durée du programme choisi Après avoir sélectionné le programme, sa durée (en heures et minutes) apparaît sur l’écran. Elle est calculée automatiquement en fonction de la charge maximum prévue pour chaque type de linge et les différents dégrés de séchage.

Après le départ du programme, le temps restant s’actualise toutes les 5 minutes.

Voyant «fin de programme»

Ce voyant est allumé à la fin de la phase de refroidissement, pendant la phase anti-froissage et reste allumé à la fin du programme.

Voyant “nettoyage filtres”

Il s’allume à la fin du programme pour vous rappeler que les filtres doivent être nettoyés.

Voyant “bac plein”

Il s’allume à la fin du programme pour vous rappeler que le bac d’eau de condensation doit être vidé. S’il s’allume au cours du programme cela signifie que le bac est plein. Un signal sonore retentit, le programme s’interrompt, le voyant de la touche DEPART/PAUSE clignote.

Voyant “condenseur”

Il s’allume tous les 80 cycles de séchage pour vous rappeler que le condenseur doit être nettoyé.

10 Programmateur/Minuteur

Il vous permet de sélectionner un séchage électronique ou chronométrique.

Tournez la manette sur le programme ou le temps désiré.

Le séchage à contrôle électronique (automatique)

L’appareil fonctionne avec ces programmes à l’aide de sondes qui testent le degré d’humidité du linge. Il vous suffit d’afficher le programme en fonction de la catégorie de linge et du degré de séchage désiré.

Le séchage chronométrique

A utiliser pour parfaire le séchage si nécessaire. Sélectionnez le programme 90 ou 60 minutes pour le linge en coton ou 30 minutes pour les synthétiques.

Pour annuler un programme en cours tournez le programmateur sur “0”.

A la fin du séchage tournez-le sur “0” pour mettre la machine hors tension avant de sortir le linge.

8 Touche départ/pause

Appuyez sur cette touche pour mettre le sèche-linge en fonctionnement après avoir sélectionné le programme et les options.

Le voyant correspondant arrête de clignoter et reste fixe. Si l’option DEPART DIFFERE a été choisie, le compte à rebours commence.

Si la porte de l’appareil ou le portillon en bas sont ouverts en cours de programme, cette touche doit être enclenchée à nouveau après fermeture pour que le programme démarre là où il a été interrompu. Cette touche doit être enclenchée aussi après une coupure de courant et après avoir remis en place le bac d’eau de condensation s’il a été vidé en cours de programme suite à l'allumage du voyant .

Dans les deux cas le voyant au-dessus de la touche clignote pour vous rappeler que la touche départ doit être enclenchée à nouveau.

9 Voyants

Ces voyants vous indiquent les fonctions suivantes:

Voyant de séchage

Ce voyant indique que l’appareil est en phase de séchage.

Voyant «phase de refroidissement»

Ce voyant indique que l’appareil est en phase de refroidissement. En fin de séchage, une phase de refroidissement de 10 minutes est prévue pour éviter le froissement du linge.

• Le programme “L” a été conçu pour nettoyer et rafraîchir à la maison, dans votre sèche-linge, les articles portant le label “nettoyer à sec”. Utilisez à cet effet le produit spécial vendu dans le commerce.

Guide des programmes

Séchage électronique

(1) En aucun cas, le tambour ne doit être rempli en totalité (exclure par exemple les grandes couettes). La durée du séchage est variable selon:

- la nature du linge

- l’importance de la charge

- l’intensité de l’essorage

- la degré de séchage souhaité

Ventilation d’air froid

Ce programme peut être utilisé à toutes autres fins que le séchage du linge: pour éliminer une odeur trop prononcée, antimites par exemple, ou par rafraîchir le linge.

Charge

Il est souvent difficile d’estimer le poids des articles à sécher. C’est pourquoi nous vous conseillons de remplir le tambour:

• en totalité mais sans pression excessive, pour le linge en coton, lin, métis;

• à moitié de son volume pour les cotons traités et les fibres synthétiques;

• au tiers environ de son volume pour les articles très fragiles.

Durant le séchage le tambour tourne alternativement dans les deux directions.

Tous les programmes de séchage se terminent par une phase de refroidissement de 10 minutes (le voyant est allumé). Le linge peut être retiré. Les voyants , et s’allument, un zéro fixe apparaît sur l’écran et des signaux sonores retentissent.

9. Si le linge n’est pas retiré en fin de cycle, le

sèche-linge effectue la phase anti-froissage (durée: 30 minutes maximum).

Si vous n’intervenez pas durant cette phase, le sèche-linge s’arrête automatiquement à la fin de la phase anti-froissage.

Les voyants , et restent allumés et des signaux sonores retentissent toutes les 10 secondes, pendant 2 minutes. Le voyant de la touche départ/pause s’éteint et un zéro clignotant s’affiche à l’ecran.

10.Tournez le programmateur sur “0”, tous les

voyants s’éteignent, l’appareil est hors tension. Sortez le linge immédiatement. Si vous ouvrez et fermez la porte avant de

tourner le programmateur sur “0”, les voyants correspondant aux phases du programme qui vient d’être achevé s’allument et la durée du programme apparaît sur l’écran.

Après chaque utilisation

• Nettoyez les filtres (voir page 27)

• Videz le bac d’eau de condensation (voir page 28)

Important!

Si le programme de séchage doit être arrêté avant qu’il soit terminé, nous vous conseillons de tourner la manette du programmateur sur la position et d’attendre la fin de cette phase de refroidissement pour retirer le linge. Cela évitera une accumulation de chaleur à l’intérieur de l’appareil. A cet effet tournez d’abord le programmateur sur “0”, après sur

et donnez le départ.

Modification du programme

Pour changer un programme en cours il faut d’abord annuler celui-ci en tournant le programmateur sur “0”. Sélectionnez le nouveau programme et pressez la touche «départ» .

Comment faire un séchage ?

Avant la première utilisation de votre sèche-linge, faites-le fonctionner pendant 30 minutes environ, en chargeant le tambour de quelques chiffons humides (essorés), ceci afin d’éliminer d’éventuelles traces de poussières ou de graisses.

Pour sécher votre linge:

1. Branchez l’appareil.

2. Ouvrez la porte en appuyant sur le point de

pression marqué sur la porte (voir croquis).

3. Dépliez les pièces de linge une à une et

introduisez-les dans le tambour.

4. Fermez la porte. Assurez-vous que le linge ne

reste pas coincé entre la porte et le filtre.

5. Sélectionnez le programme ou le temps de

séchage. Les voyants , et s’allument. Le voyant de la touche “départ/pause” clignote et la durée du programme en heures et minutes s’affiche sur l’écran.

6. Enclenchez éventuellement la touche «séchage

délicat» et/ou la touche “suppression alarme”

ou la touche “programme rapide” .

7. Sélectionnez le départ différé si nécessaire.

L’écran visualise le nombre de minutes ou d’heures sélectionnés pendant 2 secondes environ. La durée du programme s’affiche ensuite.

8. Appuyez sur la touche «départ» : le voyant

correspondant arrête de clignoter et le séchage commence, seul le voyant reste allumé.

Si le départ différé a été sélectionné, le décompte commence.

Si le programmateur est tourné sur une autre position au cours du programme, les voyants des phases clignotent et un signal acoustique retentit.

Guide de séchage

Ne surchargez pas le tambour de votre sèchelinge (5 kg de linge de coton sec ou 2,5 kg de linge synthétique sec max.). Pour les articles particulièrement fragiles, il est recommandé de réduire encore la charge. Une surcharge du tambour prolongerait anormalement le temps de séchage et pourrait être cause du froissement du linge.

Nous vous donnons à titre indicatif les poids moyens des pièces les plus communes:

Important:

●

Ne faites jamais sécher en machine:

- les lainages, les soieries et les voilages, les

articles en chlorofibres (Thermolactyl etc....).

- les matières caoutchoutées, les tissus plastifiés et les articles ouatinés (anoraks, couettes etc...)

- les articles ayant été précédemment nettoyés avec des produits inflammables

- les tissus ayant tendance à s'effilocher.

●

Conformez-vous scrupuleusement aux étiquettes d'entretien de votre linge et assurez-vous que l'article peut être séché en machine.

Fermez les boutons pression et les fermetures à glissière et recousez les boutons si nécessaire.

●

Veillez à nouer les ceintures et les rubans des vêtements avant de les introduire dans le tambour.

●

Vous obtiendrez un séchage homogène si vous prenez la précaution de trier chaque catégorie de linge selon son épaisseur, par exemple séchez séparément les tissus-éponges.

●

Séchez un par un les articles tels que housses de couette, draps, draps housse afin d'éviter qu'ils ne s'enroulent et forment des noeuds.

●

Retournez sur l'envers les articles molletonnés et pelucheux, ainsi que les poches de pantalon afin d'éviter les épaisseurs longues à sécher.

●

Tout le linge à sécher doit être essoré avant de procéder au séchage.

●

Evitez de sécher le linge trop longtemps: vous économiserez de l'énergie et éviterez également la formation de faux plis dans le linge.

●

L'adjonction d'assouplissant au dernier rinçage (en lave-linge) permet de réduire l'électricité statique sur le linge.

●

Choisissez, pour les tissus en coton épais, un temps de séchage qui rend le linge prêt au repassage (c'est-à-dire imprégné de l'humidité que requiert un repassage immédiat). Si le repassage ne peut pas se faire immédiatement, enroulez le linge pour obtenir un degré d'humidité uniforme.

●

Les articles tissés ont tendance à rétrécir. Un séchage excessif renforce cet effet. Il faut, par conséquent, sélectionner une durée de séchage très courte pour ces textiles. Nous vous recommandons de tenir compte des possibilités de rétrécissement de ces textiles lors de nouvelles acquisitions.

●

Si le linge devait être encore humide à la fin du séchage, affichez un temps d’au moins 30 minutes pour parfaire le séchage.

Entretien

Débranchez l'appareil avant toute opération d'entretien.

Nettoyage extérieur

Utilisez de l'eau savonneuse. Rincez et séchez soigneusement.

Important: N’utilisez jamais de produits abrasifs ou caustiques.

Nettoyage de la porte

Nettoyez périodiquement l’intérieur de la porte pour enlever d’éventuelles peluches des joints autour du filtre. Un nettoyage soigneux est indispensable pour un séchage correct.

Nettoyage des filtres

Situés à l’intérieur de la porte et dans l’ouverture du hublot, les filtres doivent être nettoyés après chaque utilisation à l’aide d’un chiffon humide avant de sortir le linge. L'allumage du voyant vous rappelle cette opération.

Le filtre à l’intérieur de la porte doit être enlevé pour pouvoir le nettoyer. A cet effet, tirez sur la poignée vers le haut.

La quantité de peluches recueillies ne doit pas vous inquiéter, elle est due à une usure normale du linge et non à un mauvais fonctionnement de l’appareil.

Un frottement des fibres et du tissu se produit pendant l’utilisation et le lavage du linge provoquant une formation de peluches. Si le séchage du linge est effectué sur un séchoir ou un fil ces peluches s’envolent, tandis qu’à l’intérieur du sèche-linge elles s’accumulent et se gonflent fortement sous l’action du séchage.

Si une légère couche blanchâtre due aux résidus de lessive dans le linge, se forme sur les filtres, ceux-ci doivent être nettoyés à l’eau chaude à l’aide d’une brosse. En ce cas, enlevez aussi le filtre situé dans l’ouverture du hublot comme indiqué dans le croquis. Il peut être remis en place la languette tournée à gauche ou à droite.

N’utilisez jamais votre sèche-linge sans

filtres.

Nettoyage du condenseur d’air

Nettoyez le condenseur d’air lorsque le voyant est allumé.

Le condenseur d’air est situé à la partie avant, en bas, derrière un portillon. Pour ouvrir ce dernier, pressez la touche se trouvant à l’intérieur, comme indiqué dans le croquis.

Pour pouvoir sortir le condenseur, tournez d’abord les deux butées rouges vers le bas et après retirez le condenseur en le saisissant par sa poignée.

Nettoyez le condenseur avec une brosse et rincez éventuellement comme indiqué sur la figure.

Nettoyez aussi l’extérieur du condenseur d’air et le cas échéant, enlevez également les peluches.

Nettoyez le joint autour du condenseur à l’avant et à l’arrière ainsi que le joint à la partie intérieure du portillon à l’aide d’un chiffon humide.

N’utilizez jamais d’objets pointus pour le nettoyage du condenseur, vous risqueriez de l’endommager.

Remettez le condenseur à sa place, tournez les deux butées vers le haut et fermez le portillon.

Ne faites jamais fonctionner l’appareil sans condenseur d’air.

Vidange du bac d’eau de condensation

Videz le bac d’eau de condensation après chaque utilisation de manière à obtenir un séchage correct du linge au cours du séchage suivant (l’eau extraite du linge pendant le séchage se condense à l’intérieur du sèche-linge et est récupérée dans le bac d’eau de condensation).

Le voyant ‘bac plein” allumé vous rappelle cette opération.

Pour cela, tirez le bac, retournez-le, videz l’eau et remettez-le en place en prenant soin de bien l’engager au fond de son logement.

Appuyez à nouveau sur la touche “départ” pour faire continuer le programme, si vous avez vidé le bac en cours de programme suite à l’allumage du voyant .

Si la vidange du bac d’eau de condensation n’est pas régulièrement faite, le voyant correspondant s’allume en cours de programme et celui-ci s’interrompt automatiquement. Un signal acoustique retentit.

Appuyez à nouveau sur la touche départ pour faire continuer le programme après avoir vidé le bac et l’avoir remis en place.

Remarque: L’eau de condensation récupérée peut s’utiliser dans un fer à repasser à vapeur. Effectuez alors le filtrage de cette eau (par exemple dans un filtre à café).

Nettoyage de la grille d’aspiration

Enlevez les peluches et la poussière sur la grille postérieure à l’aide d’un aspirateur.

Nettoyage du tambour

Quand le linge n'atteint pas le degré de séchage voulu, à savoir quand le linge est soit trop sec soit encore trop humide, nous conseillons de nettoyer l'intérieur du tambour avec un chiffon imbibé de vinaigre. Cela permettra d'éliminer la légère patine qui se forme dans le tambour, causée par les restes de lessive et des éventuels produits assouplissants utilisés durant le lavage et par le calcaire contenu dans l'eau, qui empêche les sondes de tester le degré correct de séchage.

Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise

Installation

●

Lassen Sie die beim Elektroanschluss des Geräts entstehenden Arbeiten von einem fachkundigen und zugelassenen Installateur ausführen.

●

Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät nicht auf dem Netzkabel steht.

●

Der Aufstellplatz darf nicht mit textiler Auslegware, hochflorigem Teppichboden usw. belegt sein, damit die Belüftung des Motors gewährleistet ist.

Gebrauch

●

Gerät nur im Haushalt und für den angegebenen Zweck benutzen.

●

Ziehen Sie nach Gebrauch des Geräts immer den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.

●

Nicht geschleuderte Wäsche darf nie im Wäschetrockner getrocknet werden.

●

Mit feuergefährlichen Reinigungs- und Lösungsmitteln (Waschbenzin, Alkohol, Fleckentferner etc.) behandelte Wäschestücke dürfen nie in diesem Wäschetrockner getrocknet werden. Es besteht Brandgefahr. Also nur in Wasser gewaschene Textilien trocknen!

Mit Öl getränkte oder befleckte Wäschestücke dürfen nicht in dem Trockner getrocknet werden. Brandgefahr!

●

Falls Sie Ihre Wäsche mit einem Fleckentferner behandelt haben, führen Sie in Ihrem Waschprogramm einen extra Spülgang durch.

●

Die Benützer sollten sich immer davon überzeugen, dass keine Gasfeuerzeuge (auch nichtfunktionierende) in den Kleidungsstücken vergessen wurden.

●

Trocknen Sie nie Sportschuhe (z.B. Tennisschuhe) in diesem Trockner. Diese könnten zwischen Trommel und Einfülltür rutschen und dadurch die Trommel blockieren.

●

Lassen Sie die Einfülltür zwischen einem Trockenvorgang und dem folgenden angelehnt, damit die Türdichtung auf Dauer wirksam bleibt.

●

Benützen Sie das Gerät nie ohne Flusensiebe oder mit beschädigten Flusensieben. Es besteht Brandgefahr.

●

Der Raum um den Trockner muss von Flusen freigehalten werden.

Allgemeine Sicherheitsvorschriften

●

Es ist gefährlich, Veränderungen am Gerät oder seinen Eigenschaften vorzunehmen.

●

Versuchen Sie keinesfalls, das Gerät selbst zu reparieren. Reparaturen, die nicht von Fachleuten ausgeführt werden, können zu schweren Unfällen oder Betriebsstörungen führen.

●

Das technische Service sollte nur von

autorisierten Kundendienststellen ausgeführt werden; verlangen Sie nur Original-Ersatzteile.

Sicherheit von Kindern

Kinder können Gefahren, die im Umgang mit Elektrogeräten liegen, oft nicht erkennen. Sorgen Sie deshalb für die notwendige Aufsicht während des Betriebs und lassen Sie Kinder nicht mit dem Wäschetrockner spielen.

Verpackungsteile (z.B. Folien, Styropor) können für Kinder gefährlich sein. Erstickungsgefahr! Verpackungsteile von Kindern fernhalten.

Stellen Sie sicher, dass Kinder oder Kleintiere nicht in die Trommel des Wäschetrockners klettern.

Bei der Entsorgung des Wäschetrockners: Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker, schneiden Sie die elektrische Zuleitung ab und beseitigen Sie den Stecker mit der Restleitung. Zerstören Sie das Türschloss: so können spielende Kinder sich nicht einsperren und nicht in Lebensgefahrgeraten.

Gerätebeschreibung

Ihr Wäschetrockner arbeitet besonders wirtschaftlich, wenn Sie folgendes beachten:

●

Die maximale Füllmenge nutzen -entsprechend der Programmübersicht auf Seite 38. Kleine Wäschefüllungen sind unwirtschaftlich.

●

Die Wäsche gründlich entwässern. Je höher die Schleuderdrehzahl, umso kürzer ist die Trockenzeit und umso geringer ist der Stromverbrauch.

●

Übertrocknen vermeiden durch sorgfältige Zeitwahl entsprechend des gewünschten Trockengrades. Übertrocknete Wäsche lässt sich zudem schlecht bügeln.

●

Um die maximale Füllmenge auszunutzen, kann Wäsche, die schranktrocken werden soll, ohne weiteres mit Bügelwäsche getrocknet werden. Dazu die Trockenzeit für Bügelwäsche einstellen, nach Programmende die Bügelwäsche entnehmen und die restliche Wäsche anschließend zu Ende trocknen.

●

Wenn Sie die Flusensiebe regelmäßig reinigen, vermeiden Sie längere Trockenzeiten und höheren Stromverbrauch.

●

Den Raum gut belüften. Die Raumtemperatur sollte während des Trocknens + 35°C nicht übersteigen.

Einstellung der Leitfähigkeit des Wassers

Die Empfindlichkeit des Leitfähigkeitsfühlers, kann entsprechend dem Wert der Wasserleitfähigkeit im jeweiligen Wohngebiet, wie folgt eingestellt werden:.

Einstellungsvorgang:

Drücken Sie im Auswahlmodus gleichzeitig die Tasten 3 und 6, bis <<CO>> auf dem Display erscheint.

Ändern des Leitfähigkeitswertes:

Drücken Sie mehrmals die Taste 5, das Niveau der Leitfähigkeit wird durch das Blinken der horizontalen Striche angezeigt (siehe Tabelle).

Achtung!

Entfernen der Transportsicherung

Ziehen Sie den Folienschlauch mit dem Polystyrolpolster heraus, bevor Sie das Gerät zum ersten Mal in Betrieb nehmen.

Klebestreifen innen an der Trommeloberseite abziehen.

Bei Umzug muss das Gerät senkrecht transportiert werden.

Aufstellung

Der Trockner kann auf jedem ebenen Fußboden aufgestellt werden. Er muss waagerecht stehen, also eventuell mit einer Wasserwaage ausgerichtet werden. Durch Verstellen der Schraubfüße lassen sich Bodenunebenheiten bzw. -schräglagen ausgleichen.

Für eine einwandfreie Funktion ist eine gute und stauungsfreie Luftzufuhr bzw. Warmluftabführung durch die Lüftungsschlitze vorne, unten im Sockel des Trockners sicherzustellen.

Schraubfüße nicht entfernen. Die Bodenfreiheit nicht durch hochflorige Teppichböden, Leisten u.ä. einschränken.

Es könnte ein Wärmestau eintreten, der das Gerät in seiner Funktion beeinträchtigt.

Hinweis:

Die vom Trockner abgegebene Warmluft kann bis zu 60°C betragen - Aufstellung nicht auf empfindlichen Teppichböden .

Die Raumtemperatur sollte nicht niedriger als +5°C und nicht höher als +35° sein.

Der Raum um den Trockner muss von Flusen freigehalten werden.

Elektrischer Anschluss

Der Anschluss darf nur über eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Schutzkontakt-Steckdose an 220-230 V (50 Hz) erfolgen.

Der Anschlusswert beträgt ca. 2,2 kW. Erforderliche Absicherung: 10A - LS-L-Schalter.

Die elektrische Sicherheit des Geräts ist nur gewährleistet, wenn das Erdungssystem der Hausinstallation vorschriftsmäßig installiert ist. Das Netzkabel darf nur vom Kundendienst ausgetauscht werden.

Wichtig! Das Netzkabel muss nach Aufstellung des

Geräts leicht zugänglich sein.

Wasch-/Trockensäule

Der Aufbau zur platzsparenden Wasch-/ Trockensäule ist mit allen Waschvollautomaten mit Deckeltiefe zwischen 48 und 60 cm und Frontbeschickung möglich. Hierzu benötigen Sie einen Bausatz, der bei Ihrem Händler erhältlich ist. Eine ausführliche Montageanweisung liegt dem Bausatz bei. Lesen Sie bitte diese sorgfältig durch.

Türanschlagwechsel

Falls erwünscht ist es möglich, die Tür auf Linksanschlag zu ändern. Zu diesem Zweck wenden Sie sich bitte an die nächste Kundendienststelle.

1 Programmübersicht

Die Programmübersicht gibt Ihnen einen Überblick über die zur Verfügung stehenden Trocknungsprogramme.

2 Türtaste

Durch Drücken dieser Taste wird die Gerätetür geöffnet. Die darüberliegende Lampe leuchtet.

Das Öffnen der Tür ist nur dann möglich, wenn der Wäschetrockner eingeschaltet ist (der Programm-Wahlschalter wurde auf ein Programm oder eine Trockenzeit eingestellt).

Wird die Tür während des laufenden Trockenprogramms geöffnet, muss nach dem Schließen der Tür erneut die START/PAUSE -Taste gedrückt werden, um das Programm neu zu starten.

Summer AUS-Taste

Das akustische Signal ertönt

• beim Wählen des Programms und beim Einschalten der Tasten

• bei der Wahl einer Funktion, die mit dem eingestellten Programm nicht vereinbar ist

• wenn der Programmwähler während eines laufenden Programms verdreht wird

• wenn die Tasten im Laufe des Programms gedrückt werden

• während der Knitterschutzphase

• am Ende des Programms

• wenn der Kondensatbehälter voll ist

• bei Störungen am Gerät

• wenn die untere Tür nicht geschlossen ist

Durch Drücken der Taste wird das Signal abgeschaltet.

Die darüberliegende Lampe leuchtet.

4 Kurzprogramm-Taste

Durch Drücken dieser Taste wird die Trockenzeit in den folgenden Programmen für Baumwollgewebe reduziert:

• Extratrocken

• Starktrocken

• Schranktrocken Die betreffende Lampe leuchtet. Diese Funktion kann nicht zusammen mit SCHON gewählt werden.

5 Schon-Taste

Drücken, wenn empfindliche Gewebe wie Feinwäsche, Acryl usw. getrocknet wird. Durch Drücken der Taste wird in allen Trocknungsprogrammen, auch bei zeitlicher Trocknung, die Heizleistung von 2200 W auf 1400 W reduziert.

Die darüberliegende Lampe leuchtet. Wird die Taste nicht gedrückt, laufen alle Programme mit voller Heizleistung (2200 W) ab. Nicht wählbar zusammen mit KURZ

6 Startzeit-Vorwahl-Taste

Durch diese Taste wird eine Startzeit-Vorwahl von max. 12 Stunden ermöglicht.

Diese Funktion kann erst nach erfolgter Programmauswahl und vor dem Drücken der Start/Pause-Taste gewählt werden.

Nach jedem Drücken der Taste erhöht sich die Zeit um 30 Minuten, bis am Display ein verzögerter Start von „2 Stunden“ aufscheint. In Folge wird die Startzeit jede Stunde angezeigt.

Die Minuten und Stunden der gewählten Startzeit werden zwei Sekunden lang angezeigt, anschließend erscheint erneut die Dauer des vorher eingestellten Programms.

Nach dem Drücken der START/PAUSE-Taste beginnt das Gerät in umgekehrter Reihenfolge zu zählen.

Um die Eingabe zu löschen, ist zuerst die START/PAUSE-Taste zu drücken und dann die STARTZEIT-VORWAHL-Taste so lange zu drücken, bis am Display die Zahl o’h aufscheint. Nun erneut die START/PAUSE-Taste drücken.

Nach dem Löschen des verzögerten Starts erscheint am Display wieder die Dauer des Trockenprogramms.

Während der laufenden Funktion der StartzeitVorwahl ist es nicht möglich, das Programm oder die gewählte Startzeit zu ändern. Sollte dies erforderlich sein, muss zuerst das Gerät durch Drehen des Programm-Wahlschalters auf die Position „0“ abgeschaltet werden. Nun das neue Programm, die Funktionen und die Startzeit auswählen und die START/PAUSE-Taste drücken.

Sollte das Gerät während des umgekehrten Zählvorgangs zusätzlich mit Wäsche angefüllt werden, ist nach dem Schließen der Gerätetür erneut die START/PAUSE-Taste zu drücken, damit der Zählvorgang fortgesetzt wird.

7 DISPLAY

Das Display zeigt folgende Informationen an:

• Dauer des gewählten Programms

• Startzeit- Vorwahl

• Programmende

• Fehlerhafte Funktionsauswahl

• Fehlercode

• Dauer des gewählten Programms Nachdem das Programm ausgewählt wurde, erscheint seine Dauer (in Stunden und Minuten) auf dem Display. Die Dauer wird automatisch je nach der, für jede Stoffart vorgesehenen maximalen Füllmenge und dem gewünschten Trockengrad berechnet.

Am Programmbeginn wird die verbleibende Zeit alle 5 Minuten angezeigt.

• Startzeit-Vorwahl

Wurde durch Drücken der betreffenden Taste eine verzögerte Startzeit ausgewählt, erscheint diese Zeit zwei Sekunden lang am Display; in Folge wird erneut die Dauer des vorher eingestellten Programms angezeigt.

Der umgekehrte Zählvorgang wird Stunde für Stunde von einer verspäteten Startzeit von „90 Minuten“ bis zu „12 Stunden“ angezeigt. Bis zur Zeit von „90 Minuten“ wird der umgekehrte Zählvorgang alle 30 Minuten aktualisiert.

• Programmende

Die blinkende Zahl „0“ zeigt das Programmende an

und erscheint im Display am Ende der Knitterschutzphase.

• Fehlerhafte Funktionsauswahl

Falls eine Funktion gewählt wurde, die nicht mit dem eingestellten Programm vereinbar ist, wird auf dem Display „Err“ (Fehler) angezeigt.

Dieser Code erscheint auch dann während des Programmablaufs, wenn eine der Funktionstasten gedrückt oder der Programm-Wahlschalter verdreht wird.

• Fehlercode

Im Falle von Betriebsstörungen zeigt das Display einen Fehlercode an (z.B. E21). Hinsichtlich näherer Informationen verweisen wir Sie auf den diesbezüglichen Abschnitt auf Seite 40.

8 Start/Pause-Taste

Durch Drücken der Taste, starten Sie das gewählte Trocknungsprogramm.

Die darüberliegende Lampe leuchtet nun konstant. Wurde eine Startzeitvorwahl gewählt, wird diese

gestartet. Hinweis! Wird das laufende Trocknungsprogramm

durch Öffnen der Gerätetür oder der unteren Tür unterbrochen, muss, nachdem die Tür wieder geschlossen wurde, das Programm neu gestartet werden.

Diese Taste soll auch nach einem Stromausfall und nach Einschieben des Kondensatbehälters wieder gedrückt werden, falls dieser im Laufe des Programms nach Aufleuchten der Lampe entleert wird.

In beiden Fällen blinkt die Lampe der Start/PauseTaste.

9 Informator

Die Kontrolllampen zeigen folgende Funktionen an:

• Kontrolllampe leuchtet.

Die Trocknungsphase mit Heizung wird durchgeführt.

• Kontrolllampe leuchtet.

Die Abkühlphase von ca. 10 Minuten läuft ab.

• Kontrolllampe leuchtet.

Die Abkühlphase ist beendet, die Wäsche kann entnommen werden. Wird die Wäsche nicht entnommen, läuft automatisch die Knitterschutzphase von 30 Minuten ab. Die Lampe bleibt eingeschaltet.

• Kontrolllampe leuchtet.

Die Flusensiebe müssen gereinigt werden.

• Kontrolllampe leuchtet.

Der Kondensatbehälter muss entleert werden. Leuchtet diese Lampe im Laufe eines Programms,

bedeutet dies, dass der Behälter voll ist. Ein akustisches Signal ertönt, das Programm wird automatisch unterbrochen, die Start/Pause-Lampe blinkt.

• Kontrolllampe leuchtet.

Diese Lampe leuchtet alle 80 Trocknungsprogramme und zeigt somit, dass der Luftkondensor gereinigt werden muss.

10 Programm-Wahlschalter

Mit dem Programm-Wahlschalter stellen Sie die automatische und zeiteingestellte Trocknung ein.

Trocknung durch elektronische Programme

Diese arbeiten mit Feuchtigkeitssensoren. Sie müssen einfach den Programm-Wahlschalter auf das gewünschte Programm einstellen und die Wäsche wird solange getrocknet, bis sie den gewünschten Feuchtigkeitsgrad erreicht hat.

Zeiteingestellte Trocknung

Zeitliches Trocknen für individuelles Trocknen oder Nachtrocknen von Wäschestücken.

Drehen Sie den Programm-Wahlschalter auf 90 oder 60 Minuten für Baumwolle u. Leinen oder auf 30 Minuten für pflegeleichte Wäsche.

Zur Annullierung eines bereits laufenden Programms drehen Sie den Programm-Wahlschalter auf “0”.

Am Ende des Trocknens muss der ProgrammWahlschalter wieder auf “0” gedreht werden, das Gerät ist ausgeschaltet.

Die Trockendauer ist von der Füllmenge, der Gewebeart und der Restfeuchte der zu trocknenden Wäsche abhängig.

Programm “Lüften”

Diese Programmstellung kann zum Auslüften von Pullis, Kleidern usw. verwendet werden. Programmdauer 10 Minuten.

Füllmenge

Sie brauchen die Wäsche nicht abzuwiegen, wenn Sie sich an folgende Faustregeln halten:

Baumwolle, Leinen: volle Trommel, aber nicht überladen.

●

Pflegeleichte Gewebe: Trommel bis zur Hälfte füllen.

●

Besonders empfindliche Gewebe: Trommel nicht mehr als 1/3 füllen.

Reihenfolge der Arbeitsschritte

Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme empfiehlt es sich, den Trockner mit einigen feuchten Tüchern zu beschicken und ca. 30 Minuten laufen zu lassen. Dadurch wird sichergestellt, dass sich kein Staub und Schmutz mehr in der Trommel befindet.

1. Gerät anschliessen.

2. Tür durch leichten Druck auf die markierte Stelle

öffnen.

3. Waschgut in die Trommel legen.

4. Tür schließen. Achten Sie darauf, dass keine

Wäschestücke eingeklemmt werden.

5. Trockenprogramm oder Trockenzeit wählen. Die

Kontrolllampen , und leuchten. Die Lampe der Start/Pause-Taste blinkt und die Programmdauer erscheint im Display.

6. Taste und/oder oder eventuell

drücken.

7. Wenn der Programmstart später erfolgen soll,

Startzeit-Vorwahl einstellen. Der verzögerte Start wird im Display nur 2 Sekunden lang angezeigt, dann erscheint wieder die Dauer des gewählten Programms.

8. Start-Taste drücken: die darüberliegende

Lampe leuchtet nun konstant. Das Trocknungsprogramm beginnt. Nur die Lampe

bleibt eingeschaltet. Haben Sie die Startzeitvorwahl gewählt, beginnt die Maschine die eingestellte Zeit zurückzuzählen.

Wird während des Programms der ProgrammWahlschalter verdreht, wird dies durch Signaltöne angezeigt. Die Lampen der Programmschritte blinken und “Err” erscheint im Display.

Damit die Wäsche abkühlen kann, wird 10 Minuten vor Programmende automatisch die Abkühlphase eingeschaltet. Die Kontrolllampe

leuchtet auf. Eine Null erscheint im Display. Die Lampen , und leuchten. Die Wäsche kann entnommen werden.

9. Wird die Wäsche am Ende des Programms nicht

entnommen, schaltet sich automatisch das Knitterschutzprogramm, das ca. 30 Minuten dauert, ein.

Am Programmende und während der Knitterschutzphase ertönt alle 25 Sekunden ein kurzer Signalton ( falls Sie die Taste nicht gedrückt haben).

Während der Knitterschutzphase können Sie jederzeit die Wäschestücke entnehmen.

Wird dies nicht gemacht, bleibt die Maschine am Ende des Programms automatisch stehen, die Lampen

und bleiben eingeschaltet und ein akustisches Signal ertönt alle 10 Sekunden 2 Minuten lang.

Die Lampe über der START/PAUSE-Taste erlischt und eine blinkende Null wird im Display angezeigt.

10. Den Programm-Wahlschalter auf „0“ drehen, alle

Kontrolllampen erlöschen. Das Gerät ist ausgeschaltet. Wäsche entnehmen.

Wird die Tür vor dem Ausschalten des Geräts geöffnet und dann geschlossen, leuchten die Lampen der Programmschritte des von der Maschine ausgeführten Programms und seine Dauer erscheint im Display.

Nach dem Trocknen

Hinweis!

Soll das Trocknungsprogramm vorzeitig beendet werden, empfehlen wir, um Stauwärme im Gerät zu vermeiden, grundsätzlich vorher das Programm LÜFTEN einzuschalten. Dazu ProgrammWahlschalter auf “0” drehen, Programm wählen und Start-Taste drücken.

Programmänderung

Bevor eine Programmänderung

durchgeführt werden kann, muss erst das laufende Programm gelöscht werden.

Drehen Sie den Programm-Wahlschalter auf Position «0», das vorherige Programm ist nun gelöscht. Die Neueinstellung kann erfolgen.

Praktische Tipps

● Überladen Sie das Gerät nicht.

Beachten Sie die maximalen Füllmengen. Eine Überfüllung beeinträchtigt das Trockenergebnis und führt zu starker Knitterbildung. Eine zu geringe Wäschefüllung ist unwirtschaftlich.

Folgende Gewichtsangaben können als Richtwerte dienen:

Wichtig:

● Besonders empfindliche Gewebe, z.B. Gardinen

aus synthetischen Fasern, Wollsachen, Seide, Textilien mit Metalleinlagen, Nylonstrümpfe, großvolumige Textilien, z.B. Anoraks, Tagesdecken, Steppdecken, Schlafsäcke und Federbetten, sowie Wäschestücke, die überwiegend Schaumgummi oder gummiähnliches Material enthalten, dürfen nicht getrocknet werden.

● Bitte prüfen Sie, ob die Wäsche zum Trocknen im

Wäschetrockner geeignet ist. Einen Pflegehinweis mit dem entsprechenden Symbol finden Sie im Wäsche-Etikett.

Die Symbole für das Trocknen und ihre Bedeutung:

werden, damit Kleinteile sich darin nicht “sammeln” können. Reißverschlüsse, Haken und Ösen schließen Sie, lose Gürtel, Schürzenbänder etc. binden Sie zusammen.

● Sortieren Sie die Wäsche nach Textilarten und

gewünschtem Trockengrad.

● Die Wäsche muss vor dem Trocknen gut

ausgeschleudert sein.

● Ein Übertrocknen der Wäsche sollte vermieden

werden, um Knitter bzw. unnötigen Energieverbrauch zu vermeiden.

● Verwenden Sie zum Waschen einen

Weichspüler, um am Ende des Trockenvorganges statische Aufladungen zu vermeiden und auch um die Trockenzeiten zu reduzieren.

● Gewirkte Textilien (Trikotwäsche) können beim

Trocknen etwas einlaufen. Wäsche dieser Art bitte nicht übertrocknen. Es ist empfehlenswert, bei Neuanschaffung die Einlaufeigenschaften bei der Größenwahl zu berücksichtigen.

● Sind nach dem Trocknen einzelne Wäschestücke

noch zu feucht, dann stellen Sie eine kurze Nachtrockenzeit ein, jedoch mindestens 30 Minuten. Das wird vor allem bei mehrlagigen Wäschestücken (z.B. Kragen, Taschen usw.) erforderlich sein.

Wartung

Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigungs- oder Wartungsarbeit den Netzstecker des Geräts aus der Steckdose.

Reinigung des Trocknergehäuses

Verwenden Sie nur Seifenwasser und trocknen Sie das Gerät danach sorgfältig.

Wichtig: Alkohol, Lösungsmittel und dgl. dürfen nicht verwendet werden.

Reinigung des Siebbereichs in der Innentür

Ein minimaler Anteil der Flusen gelangt trotz des Flusensiebs in den umgebenden Siebbereich. Reinigen Sie deshalb von Zeit zu Zeit den gesamten Siebbereich mit einem feuchten Tuch.

Reinigung der Flusensiebe

Der Wäschetrockner funktioniert nur bei gereinigten Flusensieben einwandfrei. Deshalb müssen sie nach jedem Trocknungsprogramm vor der Wäscheentnahme kontrolliert und ggf. gereinigt werden. Die Lampe leuchtet im Informator, um Sie daran zu erinnern. Verwenden Sie dazu ein feuchtes Tuch.

Das Sieb in der Innentür an seinem Griff nach oben herausziehen, Flusen abstreifen und Sieb wieder einsetzen..

Die angesammelte Flusenmenge ist nicht etwa auf die Wäschebeanspruchung im Trockner zurückzuführen; vielmehr handelt es sich um abgetragene Fasern vom Tragen und Waschen.

Beim Trocknen auf der Leine werden die Flusen vom Wind fortgetragen, während sie beim Wäschetrockner im Sieb gesammelt werden. Am Gewicht der Flusen können Sie feststellen, wie gering der Anteil im Verhältnis zur getrockneten Wäschemenge ist.

Durch Waschmittelreste in der Wäsche kann sich an den Flusensieben ein weißlicher Belag bilden. In diesem Falle müssen die Siebe, insbesondere das Sieb in der Einfüllöffnung, mit warmem Wasser und einer Bürste gereinigt werden. Das Sieb in der Einfüllöffnung kann auch herausgenommen werden (siehe Abb.). Beim Wiedereinsetzen kann der Zapfen nach rechts oder links zeigen.

Benützen Sie das Gerät nie ohne Flusensiebe.

Reinigung des Luftkondensors

Reinigen Sie den Luftkondensor regelmäßig, d.h. je nach Benutzungshäufigkeit und Art der zu trocknenden Wäsche. Spätestens jedoch dann, wenn die Lampe leuchtet.

Der Luftkondensor ist in der Geräte-Vorderseite unten eingeschoben.

Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

Kondensatbehälter entleeren

Vorsicht! Das Kondensat ist nicht zum Trinken oder

zur Verwendung in Lebensmitteln geeignet. Der Kondensatbehälter befindet sich auf der linken

Seite der Bedienblende. Dieser Behälter muss

nach jedem Trocknungsgang entleert werden. Die entsprechende Kontrolllampe erinnert Sie daran.

Wird der Behälter nicht entleert, leuchtet die Lampe im Laufe des Programms. Ein akustisches Signal ertönt. Das Programm wird automatisch unterbrochen, die Wäsche bleibt nass.Folgende Handgriffe sind erforderlich:

Zum Entnehmen in die Griffmulde fassen und Behälter langsam herausziehen.

● Behälter umdrehen und Kondensat ausgießen.

● Behälter bis zum Anschlag einschieben.

Hinweis

Das aufgefangene Kondenswasser kann für das Dampfbügeleisen verwendet werden. Davor sollten Sie es jedoch durch ein feines Sieb oder einen Kaffeefilter aus Papier gießen. Dadurch werden kleinste Flusen, die sich im Kondenswasser befinden können, im Filter zurückgehalten.

Installazione

• Se l’impianto elettrico domestico necessita di essere modificato per poter installare la macchina, chiamare un tecnico specializzato.

• Una volta installata la macchina accertarsi che non appoggi sul cavo di alimentazione.

• Se la macchina è posta su pavimento di moquette, regolare i piedini in modo tale da permettere la circolazione dell'aria tra la macchina ed il pavimento

Uso

• La macchina è prevista per un uso domestico. Se viene utilizzata per scopi diversi da quelli per i quali è stata progettata oppure se non viene usata correttamente, il produttore non si assume alcuna responsabilità per i danni che ne potrebbero derivare.

• Dopo l'uso, staccare sempre la spina.

• Non introdurre in macchina biancheria semplicemente sgocciolata.

• Pericolo di esplosione: non asciugare in macchina biancheria smacchiata con prodotti chimici (come quelli utilizzati per la pulitura a secco), perchè potrebbero causare un’esplosione. Asciugare solo capi lavati in acqua.

• Pericolo di incendio: tessuti che sono stati macchiati od inzuppati con olio vegetale o da cucina sono a rischio di incendio e non dovrebbero essere inseriti nell'asciugabiancheria.

• Se hai lavato la tua biancheria con prodotti smacchianti, e' necessario eseguire un risciacquo aggiuntivo prima di iniziare la fase di asciugatura.

• Accertarsi che non ci siano degli accendini nelle tasche dei capi da asciugare.

• Non introdurre in macchina scarpe da tennis, perchè potrebbero incastrarsi tra oblò e cesto, bloccando quest’ultimo.

• Lasciare la porta socchiusa a fine programma per aerare la macchina.

• I filtri devono essere puliti dopo ogni utilizzo. Per prevenire rischi di incendio, non utilizzare la

macchina con i filtri danneggiati oppure senza filtri.

• Non lasciare che si accumuli lanugine attorno alla macchina.

Sicurezza in generale

• È pericoloso modificare o tentare di modificare le caratteristiche tecniche dell’apparecchiatura.

• Non tentare di riparare l’apparecchiatura da soli. Riparazioni eseguite da persone inesperte possono causare danni. Rivolgersi sempre ad un centro di assistenza tecnica autorizzato, richiedendo sempre ricambi originali.

Sicurezza per i bambini

• I bambini spesso non riconoscono i pericoli legati alle apparecchiature elettriche. Durante il funzionamento della macchina è necessario sorvegliarli adeguatamente e non lasciarli giocare con l’apparecchiatura - c’è il pericolo che i bambini si chiudano dentro.

• I componenti dell’imballaggio (es. pellicole, polistirolo) possono essere pericolosi per i bambini. Pericolo di soffocamento! Tenerli fuori dalla portata dei bambini.

• Accertarsi che gli animali domestici non entrino nel cestello dell’asciugabiancheria.

• In caso di smaltimento dell’apparecchiatura, tagliare il cavo di alimentazione ed eliminare la spina con il cavo restante. Rendere inutilizzabile la serratura della porta: in questo modo i bambini, giocando, non riusciranno a chiudersi dentro l’apparecchiatura, rischiando di rimanere intrappolati.

Consigli per la protezione dell’ambiente

UPer ottenere delle economie di energia elettrica e per salvaguardare l'ambiente consigliamo di attenersi a quanto segue:

• Utilizzare il cesto a pieno carico. I piccoli carichi sono anti-economici.

• Centrifugare bene la biancheria prima dell’asciugatura. Quanto maggiore sarà la velocità di centrifuga tanto minori saranno il consumo elettrico ed i tempi di asciugatura.

• Si consiglia di non asciugare troppo la biancheria per evitare pieghe e risparmiare energia. Scegliere il programma o il tempo di asciugatura in funzione del tipo di biancheria e del grado di asciugatura richiesto.

• Per sfruttare la capacità massima di carico, si possono asciugare assieme capi “asciutto armadio” e “pronto stiro”. Scegliere il programma di

asciugatura per “pronto stiro” e una volta finito il programma, togliere la biancheria. Completare poi il programma scegliendo un programma di asciugatura per la biancheria che deve essere asciugata fino a “asciutto armadio”.

• Pulire accuratamente i filtri dopo ogni ciclo di

asciugatura. In questo modo l’asciugabiancheria consumerà meno energia elettrica.

• Aerare bene il locale. La temperatura ambiente

non deve superare +35°C mentre l’apparecchiatura è in funzione.

Regolazione del livello di conduttivita

L'acqua contiene una quantita di calcare e di sali minerali variabile la quale cambia a seconda della zona geografica provocando la variazione dei valori di conduttivita dell'acqua.

Variazioni rilevanti della conduttivita dell'acqua, paragonate ai valori impostati dal produttore, potrebbero leggermente influenzare la quantita` d`umidita` residua nel bucato alla fine del ciclo.

L'asciugatrice pemette d` impostare la sensibilita del sensore d` asciugatura in base ai valori di conduttivita dell'acqua procedendo nel modo seguente:

Installazione

Avvertenza!

Disimballo

Prima di utilizzare la macchina, sfilare il sacchetto di polietilene contenente il tassello di polistirolo.

Staccate le strisce adesive all’interno nel latosuperiore del cestello.

In caso di successivo trasferimento dell’apparecchiatura, questa dovrà essere trasportata verticalmente.

Posizionamento

La macchina può essere posta su qualsiasi tipo di pavimento piano. Deve trovarsi in posizione perfettamente orizzontale (servirsi eventualmente di una livella ad acqua). Agendo sui piedini è possibile compensare dislivelli e inclinazioni del pavimento.

Per un corretto funzionamento l’ambiente circostante deve essere mantenuto pulito (sgombro da polvere e peluzzi).

L’aria deve poter circolare liberamente attorno alla macchina. Non ostruire la griglia di aerazione anteriore e le griglie di aspirazione sul retro.

Non togliere i piedini. Non limitare la distanza dal pavimento con moquette o tappeti a pelo alto. Ciò potrebbe provocare un accumulo di calore che pregiudicherebbe il buon funzionamento della macchina.

Nota:

L’aria calda emessa dall’asciugabiancheria può raggiungere anche i 60°C. Pertanto non installare la macchina su pavimenti che non possono sopportare temperature elevate.

Per un corretto funzionamento dell’apparecchiatura

la temperatura ambiente non deve essere inferiore a + 5°C e superiore a + 35°C, anche quando la macchina è in funzione.

Collegamento elettrico

La macchina è prevista per funzionare a 220-230 V monofase, 50 Hz.

Controllare che l’impianto elettrico domestico sia adatto a sopportare il carico massimo richiesto (2,2 kW) considerando gli altri elettrodomestici in uso.

Collegare la macchina ad una presa di corrente con messa a terra in conformità con le norme vigenti.

Il costruttore declina qualsiasi responsabilltà per i danni o le lesioni causate dal non-rispetto delle norme di sicurezza. L’eventuale sostituzione del cavo di alimentazione deve essere effettuata dal nostro servizio di assistenza tecnica.

Importante!

Il cavo dell’apparecchiatura deve essere facilmente accessibile dopo aver installato la macchina.

Kit colonna

Presso i rivenditori autorizzati è disponibile uno speciale kit che permette di installare l’asciugabiancheria sopra una lavatrice a carica frontale avente una profondità compresa tra 48 e 60 cm.

Seguire attentamente le istruzioni di montaggio contenute nel kit.

Reversibilità della porta

Qualora fosse necessario cambiare il senso di apertura della porta, rivolgersi al centro di assistenza tecnica di zona.

1 Scheda programmi

Questa tabella vi aiuterà a scegliere il programma di asciugatura corretto.

2 Tasto APERTURA PORTA

Premere questo tasto per aprire la porta. La spia sopra il tasto si accende. L’apertura della porta tramite tasto è possibile solo se l’asciugabiancheria è sotto tensione (manopola selettore programmi su un programma o tempo di asciugatura). Se si apre la porta nel corso di un programma bisognerà ripremere il tasto AVVIO/PAUSA dopo averla chiusa per far ripartire il programma.

3 Tasto ESCLUSIONE SEGNALE

ACUSTICO

Dei segnali acustici risuonano:

• alla selezione del programma

• quando si premono i tasti

• in caso di errata selezione delle opzioni

• se si cerca di cambiare il programma o le opzioni durante un ciclo

• alla fine del programma

• quando la vaschetta di raccolta dell’acqua di

condensa è piena

• in caso di anomalie di funzionamento

• quando lo sportellino inferiore è aperto.

Premendo il tasto si esclude il segnale acustico in

tutte le situazioni sopra elencate.

La lampada spia sopra il tasto si accenderà.

4 Tasto MENO TEMPO

Premendo questo tasto si ottiene una riduzione del tempo di asciugatura nei seguenti programmi di COTONE:

• Extra asciutto

• Molto asciutto

• Asciutto armadio

La spia sopra il tasto si accende. Questa opzione non è compatibile con la funzione

(asciugatura delicata).

5 Tasto ASCIUGATURA DELICATA

Questo tasto permette di asciugare i capi delicati a bassa temperatura. Premuto questo tasto si accenderà la relativa spia. Questa opzione può essere selezionata anche nell’asciugatura a tempo. Non è compatibile con la funzione (meno tempo).

6 Tasto PARTENZA RITARDATA

Consente di ritardare la partenza del programma fino ad un massimo di 12 ore.

Questa opzione deve essere selezionata dopo aver scelto il programma e prima di premere AVVIO/PAUSA per avviarlo.

Ad ogni pressione del tasto il tempo aumenta di 30 minuti fino alla visualizzazione sul display di un ritardo di “2 ore”. Successivamente il ritardo verra visualizzato di ora in ora.

I minuti o le ore di ritardo scelto sono visualizzati per 3 secondi, poi ricompare sul display la durata del programma selezionato in precedenza. Il conto alla rovescia inizia dopo aver premuto AVVIO/PAUSA .

Per annullare la funzione premere prima AVVIO/PAUSA e poi (partenza ritardata)finchè sul display non appare o’ . Ripremere quindi AVVIO/PAUSA . Annullando il ritardo dopo 3 secondi il display visualizzerà la durata del programma.

Durante la partenza ritardata non è possibile cambiare nè il programma scelto, nè il tempo di ritardo. Per fare questo bisogna prima spegnere la macchina ruotando il selettore programmi su “0”.

Scegliere quindi il nuovo programma, le opzioni, la partenza ritardata e premere AVVIO/PAUSA

È possibile però cambiare o annullare le opzioni solo dopo aver messo la macchina in PAUSA. Ripremere AVVIO/PAUSA al termine dell’operazione.

Se si desidera aggiungere altra biancheria mentre la macchina sta facendo il conto alla rovescia, bisognerà premere AVVIO/PAUSA e quindi aprirela porta. Alla chiusura della stessa ripremere AVVIO/PAUSA per far ripartire il conto alla rovescia.”

7 DISPLAY

Il display visualizza le seguenti informazioni:

• durata del programma scelto

• partenza ritardata

• fine del programma

• selezione errata delle opzioni

• codice di allarme

• Durata del programma scelto

Dopo aver selezionato il programma, la sua durata (in ore e minuti) appare sul display. Essa è calcolata automaticamente in funzione del carico massimo previsto per ogni tipo di tessuto e del grado di asciugatura richiesto.

Alla partenza del programma, il tempo restante è visualizzato ogni 5 minuti.

• Partenza ritardata

Se è stato selezionato un tempo di ritardo per mezzo dell’apposito tasto il display lo visualizzerà per 2 secondi; in seguito riapparirà la durata del programma selezionato in precedenza.

Il conto alla rovescia viene visualizzato sul display

ogni 30 minuti fino a un ritardo di 90 minuti e successivamente in ore.

• Fine del programma

Uno zero lampeggiante indica la fine del

programma dopo la fase anti-piega.

• Selezione errata delle opzioni

Si si sceglie un’opzione non compatibile con il programma selezionato, il display visualizza Err (errore).

Questo codice riapparirà nel corso del programma se si premerà uno dei tasti opzione o se si ruoterà la manopola del selettore programmi su un’altra posizione.

• Codice di allarme

In caso di anomalia di funzionamento il display visualizzerà un codice di allarme (ad es. E21). Far riferimento al relativo capitolo a pag. 15 p

8 Tasto AVVIO PAUSA

Scelto il programma e le opzioni, premere questo tasto per circa un secondo per avviare l’asciugabiancheria. La spia relativa smette di lampeggiare e rimane accesa. Se è stata scelta la PARTENZA RITARDATA , inizia il conto alla rovescia.

Se viene aperta la porta o lo sportellino inferiore mentre il programma è in corso, una volta chiusi, questo tasto deve essere ripremuto per riavviare il programma dal punto in cui era stato interrotto. É necessario ripremere questo tasto anche dopo un'interruzione di corrente e dopo aver re-inserito la vaschetta di raccolta dell’acqua di condensa, se è stata svuotata in corso di programma in seguito all’accensione della spia (svuotamento acqua vaschetta) In entrambi i casi la spia sopra il tasto AVVIO/PAUSA lampeggia per ricordare di premere nuovamente il tasto.

Si accende al termine della fase di raffreddamento, indicando la fine del programma. La biancheria può essere tolta. Se ciò non avviene, inizia automaticamente la fase di anti-piega, che dura 30 minuti. La spia FINE CICLO rimane accesa. Spie

È accesa alla fine del programma per ricordare che l’acqua di condensa deve essere svuotata dalla vaschetta. Se si accende nel corso del programma significa che la vaschetta è piena. Risuona un segnale acustico (se non è stato premuto il tasto di esclusione ), il programma si interrompe e la spia del tasto AVVIO/PAUSA lampeggia.

Si accende ogni 80 cicli di asciugatura per ricordare che il condensatore deve essere pulito.

10 Selettore programmi/tempi di

asciugatura

Permette di selezionare un'asciugatura elettronica oppure un'asciugatura a tempo.

Ruotare la manopola fino al programma o al tempo desiderato.

Asciugatura elettronica (automatica)

La macchina funziona in questi programmi tramite sonde che rilevano il livello di umidità della biancheria. Selezionare il programma secondo il tipo di biancheria ed il grado di asciugatura desiderato.

Asciugatura a tempo

Può essere utilizzata per finire di asciugare la biancheria se è necessario.

Selezionare il programma di 90 o 60 minuti per il cotone oppure il programma di 30 minuti per i sintetici.

Per cancellare un programma avviato ruotare la manopola fino allo "0".

Alla fine dell'asciugatura ruotare la manopola fino allo "0" per spegnere l’asciugabiancheria, prima di estrarre la biancheria.

Il programma Baby caresse (Baby caresse) è è un programma speciale, adatto per asciugare le tutine da

neonato.

Il programma Rinfrescare è adatto per asciugare tessuti sintetici particolarmente delicati (camicette,

biancheria intima) fino al grado di asciugatura “asciutto armadio”.

Questa posizione della manopola programmi può essere utilizzata per rinfrescare la biancheria (ad esempio per togliere un odore persistente di naftalina).

Carichi di biancheria

Senza bisogno di pesare la biancheria, attenersi a quanto segue per la quantità da introdurre in macchina:

● Cotone, lino: riempire il cesto, ma non sovraccaricarlo.

● Sintetici: non più di metà del cesto.

Prima di usare l’asciugabiancheria per la prima volta, consigliamo di introdurre nel cesto alcuni stracci puliti, umidi, e di far funzionare l’apparecchiatura per almeno 30 minuti. Questo per togliere le eventuali tracce di polvere o grasso presenti nel cesto.

Come asciugare

1. Collegare l’apparecchiatura alla rete elettrica.

2. Aprire la porta .premendo nel punto indicato dalla freccia.

3. Caricare i capi uno alla volta dispiegandoli il più possibile.

4. Chiudere la porta assicurandosi che la biancheria non rimanga incastrata tra la porta ed il filtro.

5. Selezionare il tempo o il programma di asciugatura. Le spie corrispondenti alle fasi che compongono il programma si accendono ,

). La spia del tasto AVVIO/PAUSA inizia a lampeggiare e la durata del programma appare sul display.

6. Se necessario, premere il tasto e/o il tasto ” o il tasto .

7. Selezionare eventualmente l’opzione “ ” Il tempo selezionato appare sul display per 3 secondi, poi ricompare la durata del programma.

8. Premere il tasto AVVIO/PAUSA per un secondo: la spia corrispondente smette di lampeggiare. Inizia il programma e la sola spia

resterà accesa..

Se è stata scelta la partenza ritardata la macchina inizierà il conto alla rovescia. Se il selettore programmi viene ruotato su un’altra posizione nel corso del programma, le spie di fase iniziano a lampeggiare, appare Err sul display e risuona un segnale acustico (se non è stato premuto il tasto di esclusione ).The drum

Durante l'asciugatura il cesto ruota alternativamente in entrambe le direzioni. Tutti i programmi di asciugatura terminano con una fase di raffreddamento di 10 minuti (la spia si accende). Dopo questa fase è possibile estrarre la biancheria.

Le spie , e si accendono.

Il display visualizza uno zero a luce fissa.

9. Se la biancheria non viene tolta alla fine del ciclo,

l’asciugabiancheria effettua una fase anti-piega

(durata massima 30 minuti). Se la biancheria non viene tolta, l'asciugabiancheria si fermerà automaticamente alla fine della fase anti-piega. La spia del tasto AVVIO/PAUSA. si spegnerà. Le spie , e rrimangono accese e risuonano dei segnali acustici. Uno zero lampeggiante appare sul display.

10. Ruotare il selettore programmi sullo "O"; tutte le spie si spengono. Estrarre subito la biancheria. Se si apre e poi si richiude la porta prima di ruotare il selettore sullo “O”, si accendono le spie di fase relative al programma appena eseguito e la durata dello stesso appare sul display..

Dopo ogni uso

Pulire i filtri (vedi pag. 55).

Svuotare la vaschetta (vedi pag. 56).

Importante!

Se si deve interrompere il programma di asciugatura prima che raggiunga la fine, si raccomanda di

ruotare il selettore fino alla posizione e di attendere la fine di questa fase prima di estrarre la biancheria. In questo modo si eviterà un accumulo di calore nella macchina. Per fare questo bisogna prima ruotare il selettore programmi su "0", poi su

e premere AVVIO/PAUSA

Modifica del programma

Se si vuole modificare un programma avviato, ruotare innanzitutto il selettore fino alla posizione "O". Selezionare il nuovo programma e premere il tasto AVVIO/PAUSA .

Consigli utili per l’asciugatura

● Cercare di utilizzare la macchina a pieno carico.

I piccoli carichi sono anti-economici. Indicativamente, elenchiamo i pesi medi dei capi

più comuni:

Lenzuolo 700-1000 g Tovaglia 400-500 g Asciugapiatti 70-120 g Tovagliolo 50-100 g Asciugamano spugna 150-250 g Accappatoio 1000-1500 g Camicia uomo 200-300 g Federa 100-200 g Pigiama uomo 400-500 g Camicia da notte donna 200-250 g

● Non asciugare mai in macchina i seguenti capi:

i tessuti particolarmente delicati come tende in fibre sintetiche, i capi in lana e seta, biancheria con inserti metallici, le calze di nylon, i capi in tessuto molto voluminoso come le giacche a vento, le coperte, le trapunte, i sacchi a pelo, piumini e qualsiasi capo che contenga gommapiuma o materiali simili alla gommapiuma, capi in fibra di vetro.

● Controllare le etichette applicate sui capi:

Asciugatura a macchina consentita. Non è però specificato se a temperatura normale o ridotta.

Asciugatura a temperatura normale. Asciugatura a temperatura ridotta. Non asciugare in macchina.

● Abbottonare le federe e i copripiumini per evitare

che piccoli capi di biancheria finiscano al loro interno. Chiudere i bottoni automatici, le cerniere lampo e i gancetti, lacci di grembiuli, ecc.

● Dividere la biancheria secondo il tipo ed il grado

di asciugatura desiderati.

● Un'eccessiva asciugatura crea pieghe nei tessuti

e consuma energia.

● Evitare di asciugare capi scuri assieme a capi

chiari colorati, come gli asciugamani di spugna, perchè possono attrarre i peluzzi.

● La biancheria deve essere ben centrifugata prima

di essere asciugata.

● Anche i capi sintetici devono essere

brevemente centrifugati utilizzando lo speciale programma di centrifuga delicata della vostra lavatrice.

● I tessuti di maglia (biancheria intima di maglia)

possono restringersi durante l'asciugatura. Non asciugare eccessivamente biancheria di questo tipo. È consigliabile tener conto di questo restringimento quando si acquista un nuovo capo.

● È possibile introdurre nell’asciugabiancheria

anche dei capi inamidati. Comunque, per ottenere l'effetto inamidato desiderato, scegliere il programma "pronto stiro". Per eliminare qualsiasi residuo di appretto, dopo l'asciugatura, pulire il cesto con uno straccio umido ed infine asciugarlo.

● Per eliminare la carica elettrostatica alla fine

dell'asciugatura, utilizzare un ammorbidente nel lavaggio della biancheria oppure un prodotto adatto per asciugabiancheria.

● Estrarre la biancheria subito dopo la fine

dell’asciugatura.

● Se al termine dell'asciugatura qualche capo

dovesse risultare ancora umido, impostare un breve ciclo di asciugatura di almeno 30 minuti. Ciò si renderà particolarmente necessario per capi multistrato (ad esempio tasche, colletti etc.).

Manutenzione e pulizia

isDisinserire elettricamente la macchina prima di qualsiasi operazione di pulizia o manutenzione.

Pulizia mobile

Pulirlo con acqua saponosa e asciugarlo accuratamente.

Importante: Non usare alcool, diluenti o prodotti similari.

Pulizia porta

Pulire periodicamente la parte interna della porta per rimuovere qualsiasi peluzzo dalle guarnizioni attorno al filtro. Un'accurata pulizia assicura una corretta asciugatura.

Pulizia filtri

Un'accurata pulizia dei filtri è indispensabile per un corretto funzionamento della macchina. I filtri trattengono tutti i peluzzi che si accumulano durante l'asciugatura e di conseguenza devono essere puliti con uno straccio umido alla fine di ogni programma, prima di estrarre la biancheria.

Il filtro sulla controporta deve essere estratto per essere pulito.

La quantità di peluzzi non deve sorprendere: non è dovuta ad un'eccessiva azione meccanica dell'asciugabiancheria.

Tutti i tessuti perdono peluzzi mentre si asciugano ma quando l’asciugatura avviene all'aria aperta, questi vengono portati via dal vento. In un’asciugabiancheria, invece, si raccolgono semplicemente nel filtro.

A lungo andare i filtri possono presentare una patina biancastra dovuta ai residui di detersivo presenti nella biancheria. Pulirli con acqua calda utilizzando una spazzola. Per estrarre il filtro dall’oblò sollevarlo come da figura. Il filtro può essere posizionato con la linguetta rivolta verso sinistra oppure verso destra.

Non utilizzare mai l’apparecchiatura senza filtri.

Pulizia del condensatore d’aria

L’accensione della spia (pulizia condensatore) segnala che il condensatore deve essere pulito. ll condensatore si trova nella parte anteriore

inferiore dell’apparecchiatura, dietro lo sportellino. Per la pulizia procedere come segue:

• aprire lo sportellino premendo sul tastino interno,

come indicato in figura;

Durante o a fine ciclo asciugatura è normale che sul

piano di inserimento condensatore ci possa essere presenza d’acqua.

• ruotare i due dischetti rossi verso la parte interna;;

• estrarre il condensatore servendosi della sua maniglietta;

• pulirlo con una spazzola e sciacquarlo eventualmente con la doccetta.

• Pulire anche la parte esterna e le guarnizioni nella parte anteriore e posteriore. Pulire con uno straccio umido le guarnizioni all’interno dello sportellino.

Non utilizzare oggetti appuntiti per pulire il condensatore, per non danneggiarlo.

• Rimettere il condensatore al suo posto, bloccarlo ruotando i due dischetti rossi verso l’esterno e chiudere lo sportellino.

Non far funzionare l’apparecchiatura senza condensatore.

Svuotamento della tanica di raccolta dell’acqua di condensa

L’acqua estratta dalla biancheria viene condensata all’interno della macchina e si raccoglie nell’apposita vaschetta, posta nella parte anteriore, inferiore, sotto il condensatore.

Questa deve essere svuotata dopo ogni ciclo in modo che l’asciugatura avvenga correttamente nel corso del ciclo successivo.

Se non si effettua questa operazione scatta un dispositivo di sicurezza: la lampada spia “tanica piena» sul cruscotto si accende. Il programma s’interrompe automaticamente e la biancheria rimane ancora umida.

È possibile effettuare lo svuotamento anche nel corso del programma:

• estrarre lentamente la vaschetta per la maniglia;

• aprire il coperchietto e svuotare l’acqua.

• richiudere il coperchietto e re-inserire la vaschetta, spingendola a fondo;

• ripremere il tasto AVVIO/PAUSA per continuare il programma..

Consiglio: L’acqua di condensa può essere utilizzata in un ferro da stiro a vapore, in una batteria ecc. In questo caso deve essere filtrata (ad es. attraverso un filtro da caffè).

L’acqua di condensa non può essere bevuta o utilizzata per cuocere i cibi!

Pulizia della griglia posteriore

Togliere polvere e peluzzi per mezzo di un aspirapolvere.

Anomalie di funzionamento

Problema

Se dopo queste verifiche la disfunzione rimane, rivolgersi al più vicino centro di Assistenza Tecnica autorizzato, indicando il modello della macchina (Mod.), il numero di prodotto (Prod. No.) e il numero di serie (Ser. No.) che si trovano stampigliati sulla targhetta matricola della macchina (vedi disegno a pag. 46).

• La macchina non funziona:

• Asciugatura insoddisfacente:

• La porta e/o lo sportello inferiore non sono chiusi.

• La spina non è ben inserita nella presa

• Non arriva corrente alla presa.

• Il selettore programmi non è posizionato correttamente.

• È stata scelta una PARTENZA RITARDATA

• Il tasto AVVIO non è stato premuto.

• La vaschetta non è stata svuotata o non è stata

inserita correttamente (spia accesa) In questo caso il ciclo si avvia comunque, ma si ferma dopo circa 4 minuti.

• I filtri e/o il condensatore sono intasati.

• La vaschetta è piena d’acqua.

• Il settore selezionato non corrisponde al tipo di biancheria.

• Il tempo di asciugatura scelto non è sufficiente

• La biancheria non è stata dovutamente centrifugata.

• È stato premuto il tasto ASCIUGATURA DELICATA oppure REFRESH

• Il cesto è sovraccarico.

• L’asciugabiancheria non è stata installata correttamente.

Importante!

Se la spia (fine ciclo) inizia a lampeggiare, se risuonano dei segnali acustici (se non è stato premuto il tasto di

esclusione) e un codice di allarme appare sul display, spegnere la macchina e chiamare il servizio di Assistenza Tecnica.
