INSERTING/REMOVING YOUR DEVICE
To insert your tablet into the Rugged Book, open the case at a 90˚ angle to the keyboard. First, separate the keyboard and case by doing the following. With one hand, grasp the keyboard at the top right or top left corner. With your other hand, grasp the corresponding top right or top left corner of the case and pull directly upwards. This will disengage the magnets and separate the case and keyboard. Note: Do not try to pull from the center of the case or the keyboard. This may put stress on the hinge.
Next, align the camera and the charging port with the corresponding holes in the case. Set the bottom half of the device into the cover and apply light pressure. Then snap the top half of your device into the cover. Check all corners to make sure they have seated properly.
To connect the case and keyboard, place the case into the magnetic cradle hinge.
To easily remove your device from the case, separate the case from the keyboard, and then gently roll the rubber overmold away from the edges while pressing on the device from behind. Grasp your device’s exposed side and lift/pull it away from the Rugged Case.
