Safety Instructions
Before using the electrical device, basic precautions should always be followed.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS APPLIANCE. PLEASE SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
1. This device is not suitable to be used by children under the age of 8 or by people with physical or emotional disabilities. If to use, please operate the device under the supervision of a guardian. Please do not let the child sit on the robot or use the robot as a toy.
2. Please remove all obstacles such as power cords or other small items before using the robot. Do not let curtains or tablecloths touch the oor. When using the mopping function, please fold the edges of the carpet so that they work as a barrier for the robot or use the ZACOHome app to declare a “carpet area”.
3. If there are stairs, please do a test run to see whether the robot detects the edge of the staircase.
4. Please follow the instructions in this manual to operate the robot.
5. Make sure the power supply voltage matches the voltage marked on the charging station.
6. Use the robot only indoors and only in home environments. Do not use it outdoors or in commercial or industrial environments.
7. Only use the original rechargeable battery and charging station provided by the ma­nufacturer. Non-rechargeable batteries are strictly forbidden to use. For battery details, please refer to the technical specications.
8. Do not let the robot get into contact with water.
9. Do not wipe the robot with a wet cloth.
10. Do not use the robot on wet oors.
11. Do not use the robot around open res or around fragile objects.
12. Do not use the robot in temperatures over 40 degrees Celsius or below -5 degrees Celsius.
13. Do not let hair, cloth or ngers come close to the product‘s openings or operating parts.

14. Do not let the robot suck in any material or items that might get stuck in the device, such as stones, paper, etc.
15. Do not let the robot vacuum ammable materials such as gasoline or printer toner.
16. Do not allow the robot to absorb any products that are burning such as cigarettes, matches, ashes, or other items that may cause a re.
17. Do not use the robot if the suction port is blocked. Clean up dust, hair, cotton, etc. to ensure air can ow smoothly.
18. Do not use a damaged charging station.
19. Do not use the power adapter to drag or pull the robot or its charging station. Do not allow the robot to operate while the power adapter is attached. Keep the power adapter away from heat sources.
20. If the power adapter is damaged, replace it with an ocial ZACO power adapter only. Do not use uncertied replacement parts from third parties.
21. Make sure the dust bin and the lter are properly installed before using the robot.
22. Do not use the robot if a baby is sleeping in the room.
23. Do not use the robot when the device is damaged due to dropping it, water damage, or outdoor use. To ensure warranty, only let the robot be repaired by the ocial ZACO Repair Service. In this case, please contact the ZACO Customer Support.
24. If the robot will not be used for a long time, disconnect it from the power supply and turn o the power switch on the side of the device.
25. Before cleaning and maintaining the product, please turn o the power switch.
26. Before cleaning and maintaining the product, please disconnect the power adapter.
27. Before disposing the product, please remove the device from the charging station, turn o the power switch and remove the battery.
28. When disposing the battery, you must follow local laws and regulations.
29. Never dispose of the robot or its battery by putting it on re as it may cause an explosion, even if the product is severely damaged.
30. Please follow the instructions to use the product. ZACO by Robovox Distributions GmbH will not take responsibility for loss or damage caused by improper use.

Charging Station
1
Place the charging station
1. Connect the adapter to the charging station
2. Place the charging station on the ground. Do not place any objects 1m to its left / right side and 2 m to its front. Reective objects, in particular, can cause issues with nding the charging station.
3. Connect the power supply.
Note: After the charging station is connected, the indicator light on the top of the charging station will be on.

Turn on the robot
The power switch is at the side of the robot. Press “I” to turn on the robot; Press “O” to turn it o.
Note: After the robot nished cleaning, it is recommended to not turn it o, and let it charge for the next use.

Start charging
Put the robot on the charging station so that the charging pins on the bottom of the robot align with the ones on the charging station.
a) Auto charging
1. In Auto mode, the robot will search for the charging station to charge when the battery is low.
2. In standby mode, press the remote control to instruct the robot to search for the charging station.
Note: Please pay attention to the charging pins. Dirty pins will negatively aect charging.

b) Manual charging
Turn on the power switch on the side of the robot. Plug the power adapter jack directly into the robot and connect the other side of the adapter to the electrical socket to charge.
1. For daily use, please place the robot on the charging station. Make sure that the power adapter is plugged in and that the robot is turned on.
2. If the robot will not be used for a long time, please charge it completely before turning o the power switch. Store the robot in a dry and ventilated place.
3. In schedule mode, please do not use the manual charging method. Other­wise, the robot cannot perform the cleaning task at the scheduled time.

Schedule
Press this button to set up a cleaning schedule. The robot will start cleaning according to the scheduled time. To change the scheduled time, press the button. If it shows “00:00” on the remote control display, the scheduled time is canceled.

Edge mode
Press this button to start edge cleaning, where the robot cleans along the walls. After cleaning, the robot will return to the charging station or the point where it started from.

MAX mode
Press this button to start MAX mode cleaning, where the robot cleans with maximum power output.
Note: Please place two AAA/R03 batteries into the remote control before using it. Please take out the batteries if the remote control is not used for a long time.

Starting up / Pause / Sleep
Sleep mode: The power switch is on and the Auto cleaning indicator light is not
ashing. The robot is currently not cleaning.
Standby mode: The power switch is on and the Auto button indicator light is ashing. The robot is currently not cleaning.
Cleaning mode: Light is bright, but not ash. The robot is currently cleaning.

Starting up
Press on the robot or press on the remote control to start cleaning.
Note: If the robot is in sleep mode, press to enter standby mode. When you press again, the robot will start cleaning.

Pause
The pause function switches between cleaning mode and standby mode. Press on the robot or on the remote control to stop the cleaning process.
Note: When the robot is paused, press

control to restart the cleaning process.

Sleep mode
To enter sleep mode: Press and hold the button on the robot for 3 seconds.
The robot will then switch to sleep mode if no further instructions are given within 10 minutes.

Auto button
Press this button to switch from sleep mode to standby mode.
In standby mode, press this button to start cleaning.
When cleaning, press this button to stop the cleaning process.
Cleaning modes
To ensure the best cleaning experience, the robot comes with dierent cleaning modes. The dierent modes can be activated by using the remote control or the ZACOHome app.
Note: To start any of the modes described below, please make sure that the robot is turned on and that the Auto button indicator is ashing.

Auto mode
Press on the robot or on the remote control to start the Auto mode. In this mode, the robot will clean the room in an ecient “zig-zag” path as shown in the picture. It will automatically calculate and clean the missed areas.
• The robot will automatically carry out the cleaning path during the work process. If it is moved manually or operated via remote control, the robot will re-plan the cleaning path, and the already cleaned area may be cleaned again. To ensure eciency, please do not interrupt the cleaning process by pressing other buttons.
• During the cleaning process, the robot will pause for a short time to calculate the uncleaned areas and plan a new path. Please wait patiently. The times and duration of the pauses depend on the complexity of the home environment.

Spot mode
This mode is applicable for an area with highly concentrated dirt or dust. In the spot cleaning mode, the robot will focus on cleaning one specic area in a circular path. After cleaning is nished, it will return to the charging station.

MAX mode
This mode is ideal for very dirty oors. Press to increase the suction power to clean very dusty areas. Press again to change to low suction power, then press the third time again to switch back to normal section.

Return to charging station
During the cleaning process, the robot can sense low battery and will automatically search for the charging station when charging is required.
It is also possible to press the
button on the remote control to instruct the robot to return to its charging station.

Schedule
A cleaning time can be scheduled. When the remote control’s Schedule icon and the rst two numbers on the display are ashing, the robot enters schedule mode.

Edge mode
This mode is good for cleaning the edges and corners of a room. In edge cleaning mode, the robot drives along a border (e.g. the wall) to clean and will stop working after running a whole circle.

For convenience, you can set up a schedule for regular cleaning. To do so, the current time and the planned cleaning times need to be set up via remote control or the ZACOHome app. The robot will then clean according to the scheduled time.

Cancel a schedule setting
Press the button to change the
scheduled time. When it shows “00:00” on the remote control display, save by pressing the button again. Then the scheduled time setting is deleted.

• When changing the time setting for the current time or the scheduled time, a prompt tone will be heard. If no prompt tone is heard, it means the change was not saved.
• You need to setup the current time and the scheduled time again when you change the batteries of the remote control.

Water tank operation
Using the water tank is optional. After vacuuming is completed, the dust bin can be replaced by the water tank for mopping.
Warning:
• If the robot is stopped during the mopping process (e.g. to add water or to rinse out the mop cloth), the robot will reprogram its cleaning path and already cleaned areas will be mopped again. To have a better mopping eect, it is recommended to use the mopping function in one room at a time.
• If another room needs to be mopped, please manually move the robot to that room. Add water or rinse out the mop cloth if necessary.
• Please do not use the water tank on carpet. If you have a carpet in your house, roll up the edges to prevent the robot from climbing and soiling the carpet. Alternatively, you can declare a “carpet area” via the ZACOHome app which the robot recognized as an area that needs to be vacuumed but not mopped.
• Please add water and rinse out the mop cloth regularly. Remove the water tank from the robot to rell it.
• Please remove the water tank while charging.

Open the rubber plug at the top of the water tank and slowly pour in clean water through the nozzle. Make sure to close the tank securely afterwards.

Dowloading the app
Your robot can be controlled remotely with the “ZACOHome” smartphone app. Please download the app from the Google Play Store or the iOS App Store.
To connect your robot to the app, please follow the instructions given by the app.

1. Make sure the smartphone is connected to the home Wi-Fi network and has good signal.
2. Create an account in the ZACOHome app and log in.
3. Turn o the robot and turn it back on before pairing to the Wi-Fi.

Please take out and empty the dust bin and lters after each use.
Take out the dust bin to empty it. Also check and clean the suction port.
The high-performance lter can be cleaned by tapping out the dirt. It cannot be rinsed or washed.

Drop sensor and charging pin maintenance
Use a dry cloth to clean the robot‘s loading pins and drop sensors to maintain their sensitivity. Instructions for doing so are shown in the images below:

Warning:
• Please take out the battery when the device will not be used for a long time. If a battery
leak occurs, please remove the battery, clean the battery compartment, and contact the ZACO Customer Service.
• If the battery is deeply discharged or not used for a long time, the battery capacity will
be reduced, and it is recommended to activate the battery. To activate it, manually place the robot on the charging station. Remove the robot after charging for 3 minutes and repeat this 3 times. After that, charge the device for 3-5 hours.
• This product uses a long-life battery that does not require frequent replacement.
If you want to replace it anyway, please contact the ZACO Customer Service.
