General Description

YN- 622 C E -TT L w ire les s f la sh t ri gg er is a hi gh

perfo rmance ma ste r and s lave e qui pment of mul tip le
flashes photography, through di git al FSK 2.4G Hz radio
wireless t ransmiss ion , and different pho tographi c effects
can be reali zed t hro ugh settin g you r flash at 360 d egr ees .
It desi gn of transc eiv er, the dis tan ce of remote cont rol
reaches 100M , su pport ing 7 wireles s ch annels and A/ B/C
three groups.

Rem ote ly change the modes and par ameters of th e flash

quickly when using the Ca non EOS seri es DS LR camer as
which sup por ts ext ern al flash f unc tion , such as TTL ratio
or manually se t each group of flash outpu t. Sup por t
high- speed sync, the ma x syn c speed is 1/ 8000s *,
Support E-TTL , Manual and Multi flas h modes. Supp ort
E-TTL f lash insta lli ng on the top of transmitte r.

Preparation Before Use

1. Installi ng the Batter ies

Open t he c over and i nstall tw o AA
batterie s (excl uded)according to
the + an d - mark s , rech arg eable
batterie s of 1.2V can be used.
Rep lace t he batt eries when th e
product do es not wo rk stably.

※ Remove the batter ies whe n the pro duct

is not us ed for lo ng time .

※ Please repla ce the b oth two batteries at

the sam e time.

2.Install ing the Transceiver on the Camera (As
Transm itter)

1). Uns cre w the l ocking rin g of the tra nsc eiver.

2). Sli p the m ounting fo ot in to th e hot shoe of the camera .

3). Turn the lockin g ri ng a ccording to t he d ire ction

of arrow, the locki ng pin will p rotrude from t he
mount ing foo t.

Preparation Before Use

1. Install t he t ransc eiver on the
min i s ta n d o r oth er fix ing
equip ment (e xcluded) .

2. Loosen the lockin g ring of the
flash .

3. Slip the mountin g foot of th e

flash into t he re cei ver.

4. Tigh tly lock the locking dev ice
of the flash .

press [ GP SET] b utton, sel ected g rou ps of receiv ers to
testi ng flash, an d there are totally 7 comb inati ons.

Flash Awaking and Testing Flash

Wh en h al f-p ressing the shutt er b ut ton of t he
camer a, the hot-shoe fl ash on the receiver w ill be
awakened . (for A/ B type camera only)
Under any connection type, [Test] button can be
pressed to a waken and te st the flash on the transce iver
and oth er tran sceivers at the sam e chann el.
Test flash with the mode s et by the flash , and under
the mod e of E- TT L it may fire in a l ower outpu t.
Ref er to the f ollowing figure, th e transmitter se ts A
+B t wo groups of flash test, hold down t he[Test ] butto n,
the fla sh on A and B of the recei ver wil l be awakened,
and whe n loose ning [Tes t] button wi ll fire a test f lash.

※ If the flash ca n no t be a wakened, man ually

awaken the flash be fore sh ootin g.

Remote Control Mode

Rem ote ly se tti ng all th e flashes th rough th e extern al flash
function s ett ing (ca mer a menu) o f the cam era , ju st likes the flash
being dir ect ly ins tal led on the camera. The set tin gs of camera
menu is prio r, set tin gs will u pgr ade d to the re cei ver a fter
pre ssi ng down cam era confirmation but ton or half pressing
shutte r b utton w ith out needing t o operate the fla sh control
pan el, the fla sh’s scr een will disp lay th e cur ren t setting. The
setting varies depe ndi ng on the cam era s/f las hes . T his co ntrol
mode is t he default control mod e, transmitter’s channel
indicator will goe s ou t in standby state, th e ca mer a needs to be
set at P/AV/T V/M e xpo sure mode, and it for type A cameras only.

1. Pr ess down [MENU] button on the c ame ra, select flas h
contro l-e xte rna l flash fun cti on setting. When the off-came ra
setting whi ch is con sis tent with t he came ra’s men u, the AF
assist bea m emit ter of the receiver wil l blin k twice to sho w
that the change is successfully.(p. 24 )

Automatic Flash (E-TTL II)

 Fully -auto matic Flash Shoot ing

1. Selec t flash mode a s E-TTL II mode.

2. Half press came ra's shutt er butt on to focus, and on
the flash screen th e ap er ture and effective range etc.

3. Ensure th at t he s ubjec t is in t he e ffect ive flash ran ge,
full press came ra’s shutter butt on to shoo t, th e
flash w ill be fi re ac cording to t he setting.

speed sync, the max sync speed is 1/250s or less.

Setting value will be sh ow o n th e fl ash scr een when half-

pressing the shu tte r b utt on. Till F EB and FEC of the fla sh are
set to 0 , se tti ngs cou ld b e ch ang ed b y re mot e co ntrol of
camera me nu , and y ou can als o s et each of the fl ash FEB and
FEC v ia its contr ol panel, compe nsa tion valu e s hall be
superposed acc ord ing to f lash s etting p lus camera men u
setting, for ex amp le, the cam era me nu is set to -3, and th e
flash is set to +3, then exposure compensation shall be 0.

Mix Control Mode

speed is 1/250s or lower.

About A utoma tic Saving Functi on

The tr ans cei ver will automatically save t he set s s uch as channel,
rec eiv ing gro up, AF assist beam. In t he T TL set, som e pa ram ete rs
will not be saved, such as the s et of f ire r ati o etc.
