Thanks for purchasing BL-WM. Please carefully read this instruction manual before using this unit.
1. Introduction
This BL-WM is connected to ESC and smart device like android, i-phone, tablet pc and
program can be set with wireless system. You can also check actual racing data in real time,
and racing information up to 50mintes can be stored so that users can easily find and know
the character of the driving.

3. Features
1) Wireless Programming : Easy to set ESC program such as Power Curve, Brake,
Turbo/Boost timing, etc via smart device.
2) Live function /Stop Watch: Easy to check real driving data such as
RPM/Voltage/Current/Consumed battery via Live, with Stop Watch
3) Log View: This is to store driving data for max 50min, and user can store/recall then see
the driving performance.
4) Wireless Firmware Update: User can easily update ESC/ BL-WM via smart device.
5) WiFi is On and Off according to monitor operation to minimize interference to a receiver.
4. User Guide
1) How to connect BL-WM (Connecting the BL-WM) a) Download BL-WM Link app then install ( please refer to our homepage ) b) Like figure below, the signal of connection location for BL-WM and ESC setting
should be connected with 3 pins white band of WiFi.
Note: If Graupner transmitter would be used, clear SUMD V2 at CH2 setting then
use.

c) Connect the ESC to Power then switches on the ESC. Once WiFi works, the Yellow LED
on the BL-WM should flash. Then, refer to “BL-WM – Setup item”
Note: To minimize the impact of WiFi to a receiver, WiFi module should be placed far from an
antenna on a receiver.
2) BL-WM setting (BL-WM – Setup)

Note : GRUAPNER_ESC_XXXX is individual WiFi module ID, and it can vary depending
on products.
Choose the detected GRAUPNER_ESC WiFi.
2.1) Switch on “WiFi” setting in a smart phone.
2.2) Then, chose “GRAUPBER_ESC_(XXXX) at WiFi, then password box appears.
2.3) Initial WiFi password is 1234567890
. Insert the password then check WiFi
connection.
2.4) Once it is connected, click on “BL-WM APP” in a smart phone. Once APP start screen
is pressed, it should move into a main screen.
2.5) Click at the right bottom of the main screen, then select WiFi item. Change
WiFi name(SSID) and password as other customers can also use the provided initial
ID and password. Reset WiFi and connect to avoid any confusion.
Note: After changing name or password of BL-WM, research again WiFi then set and
proceed.
Note: In case you forget the password, please update BL-WM using grStudio then set
WiFi and proceed. After this wired update, WiFi module is initialized. Please refer to the
homepage on the detailed operation.
2.6) After all of the above procedures are executed, overall setup on BL-WM is complete.
Once a motor is operated. WiFi is automatically On and Off, except for Live Mode. Thus,
we recommend you to switch off the application in a smart phone to reduce RF
interference during driving.
5. LED Status (LED status)
YELLOW LED is ON : WiFi module is ON
YELLOW LED flashes : WiFi module is OFF
RED LEDflashes : Command comes from smart phone
RED LED is ON : BL-WM is being updated in wired condition.
RED LED flashes three time : Initialization is complete. Default ID and password are set.

protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates,
uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no
guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does
cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning
the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or
more of the following measures:
—Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
—Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
—Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is
connected.
—Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
Note 2: 1.Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible
for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
2. The minimum separation generally be used is at least 20 cm.
