American Modern AM-5 is a floor-based guitar preamp,

created with a revolutionary FETube technology, based on FET
transistors used to emulate the tube preamp work. Replicating
popular amps' sound it can boast with “tube-like” dynamics
allowing to convey all the nuances of playing style.

AM-5 emulates the legendary American recto-hi-gain,

which is way back appreciated and admired by lots of
players who love thick, heavily overdriven sound with
saturated lows. The preamp is equipped with two separately
controlled channels, an effect loop and headphones output
with a built-in speaker simulator.
