WHAT IS HARD WATER COSTING YOU?

Around 6mm of limescale will build up in an
average household over 4 years and can
cause up to a 40 % reduction in your home’s
energy efficiency. Cleaning also takes longer
and uses more chemicals. A household of

four spends about $800 per year on clean-
ing supplies.

Eventually, untreated hard water can cause
appliances to leak, malfunction and use more
energy. Also, the heating elements of water
heaters are highly susceptible to damage
from limescale. Hard water can lead to as
