About software that uses WDM for the
audio driver (SQ01 V2, SONAR, etc.)
Important Notice for SONAR Users
To use the 01X with mLAN, it is necessary to install the mLAN driver (see
the Installation Guide). The mLAN audio driver is set for ASIO operation
when installation is finished. When using only WDM or a combination of
ASIO and WDM, switch the operation mode of the audio driver, following
the steps below after installing the mLAN driver.
• If you are using SONAR, make sure to set the Mode to WDM (see below). Use
of ASIO may result in distortion and may even cause damage to the devices.
Cautions when switching the audio driver to
WDM or WDM + ASIO:
The computer may freeze or stop responding when you change the audio
driver, depending on the audio settings of your system—unless you perform the operations below beforehand. If this occurs, you’ll need to restart
the computer; any data not saved will be lost. To avoid problems, make
sure to check and change the settings given below before switching the
audio driver.

Select [Start] ➝ [Control Panel] ➝ [Sounds and Audio Devices]
to call up the Sounds and Audio Devices Properties window.

Click the [Sounds] tab, and select “Device Connect” in the “Program events” setting.

Select “[None]” in the “Sounds” setting.

Do the same (as in steps 2 and 3 above) for the “Device Disconnect” and “Device Failed to Connect” events in the “Program
Events” setting. Select each event, then specify “[None]” in the
“Sounds” setting.

Wichtiger Hinweis für Anwender von SONAR
Für den Einsatz des 01X mit mLAN ist es notwendig, den mLAN-Treiber
zu installieren (siehe Installationsanleitung). Der mLAN-Audio-Treiber ist
nach Abschluss der Installation für den ASIO-Betrieb eingestellt. Wenn
Sie nur WDM oder eine Kombination aus ASIO und WDM benutzen,
schalten Sie nach der Installation des mLAN-Treibers mit den folgenden
Schritten die Betriebsart des Audiotreibers um.
VORSICHT
• Wenn Sie SONAR verwenden, achten Sie darauf, den „Mode“ auf „WDM“
einzustellen (siehe unten). Der Einsatz von ASIO kann Verzerrungen und sogar
Schäden an den Geräten verursachen.
Vorsichtsmaßnahmen für die Umschaltung
des Audiotreibers auf WDM oder WDM + ASIO:
Es kann passieren, dass der Computer je nach den Audio-Einstellungen
Ihres Systems hängenbleibt oder nicht mehr reagiert, wenn Sie den
Audiotreiber umschalten, es sei denn, Sie führen vorher die folgenden
Schritte aus. Falls dies passiert, müssen Sie den Computer neu starten;
nicht gespeichere Daten gehen verloren. Um Probleme zu vermeiden,
achten Sie darauf, die unten angegebenen Einstellungen zu verwenden,
bevor Sie den Audiotreiber umschalten.

Wählen Sie [Start] ➝ [Systemsteuerung] ➝ [Sounds und
Audiogeräte], um das Fenster Sounds und Audiogeräte

Right click the mLAN icon (mLAN Manager) in the task bar and

select [Driver Setup].
The mLAN Driver Setup screen appears.
Set the ASIO/WDM Mode to “WDM” or “WDM + ASIO.” (For

Remarque importante à l'attention des
utilisateurs de SONAR
Pour pouvoir utiliser le 01X avec mLAN, vous devez installer le pilote
mLAN (reportez-vous au Manuel d'installation). Ce pilote est configuré
pour fonctionner en mode ASIO au terme de l'installation. Si vous utilisez
uniquement WDM ou une combinaison d'ASIO et de WDM, modifiez le
mode de fonctionnement du pilote audio en conséquence, en suivant
les étapes ci-dessous après avoir installé le pilote mLAN.
•Si vous utilisez SONAR, prenez soin de configurer le paramètre Mode sur WDM
(voir ci-dessous). L'utilisation d'ASIO peut entraîner des distorsions, voire
endommager les périphériques.
Précautions à prendre lors de la configuration du pilote audio sur WDM ou WDM + ASIO :
En fonction des paramètres audio de votre système, l'ordinateur risque de
se bloquer ou de ne plus répondre si vous modifiez le pilote audio, à moins
que vous n'exécutiez préalablement les opérations ci-dessous. Si cela se
produit, vous devrez redémarrer l'ordinateur et toutes les données non
enregistrées seront perdues. Pour éviter ces problèmes, prenez soin de
vérifier et de modifier les paramètres ci-dessous avant de changer le pilote
audio.

Sélectionnez [Démarrer] ➝ [Panneau de configuration] ➝ [Sons
et périphériques audio] pour ouvrir la fenêtre Propriétés de Sons
et périphériques audio.

Cliquez sur l'onglet [Sons] et sélectionnez « Connexion de
périphérique » dans la boîte de dialogue « Evénements ».

Sélectionnez [Aucun] dans la boîte de dialogue « Sons ».

Faites la même chose (qu'aux étapes 2 et 3 ci-dessus) pour les
événements « Déconnecter le périphérique » et « Le
périphérique n'a pas pu se connecter » de la boîte de dialogue
« Evénements ». Sélectionnez chacun des événements, puis
sélectionnez [Aucun] dans la boîte de dialogue « Sons ».

01XをmLANで使用するには、mLANドライバーのインストールが

オーディオドライバーは「ASIO」で使用する設定になっています。
WDM単独や、ASIOとWDMを組み合わせてお使いになる場合には、
mLANドライバーのインストール後、以下の手順で、オーディオドラ
イバーのモードを切り替えてください。

SONARをお使いのときは、必ずWDMでご使用ください(下記参
照)。ASIOで使用すると音が歪んで、お使いの機器の損傷の原因とな
ることがあります。
･01XはSONARの日本語版には対応していません。詳しくはインストー
ルガイドをご参照ください。
オーディオドライバーをWDM、WDM+ASIOに切り替え
る際の注意
あらかじめ下記の操作をしておかないと、お使いの環境/システム
のサウンド設定によっては、オーディオドライバーの変更時にコン
ピューターがフリーズ(停止)することがあります。その際、コン
ピューターの再起動が必要になり、保存していないデータは失われ
てしまいます。オーディオドライバーを切り替える前に、必ず下記
の設定を確認/変更して、フリーズする原因を取り除いてください。
[スタート]→[コントロールパネル]→「サウンドとオーディオ

デバイス」を選択します。「サウンドとオーディオデバイスの
プロパティ」画面が開きます。

[サウンド]タブをクリックして、「プログラムイベント」欄か
ら「デバイスの切断」を選択します。

「サウンド」欄で「(なし)」を選択します。

接続」「デバイスの接続の失敗」も、それぞれ「サウンド」欄
で「(なし)」を選択します。

Cliquez avec le bouton droit sur l'icône mLAN (mLAN Manager)
