2. Software Installation
1.1 Product overview
Fseye is a professional mobile-phone video monitoring software, matching with specified hard disk video
recorder, network camera.
1.2 Product main functions
Main functions:
2.1 Operating environment requirements
iPhone client requests ios above 6.0 system, while Android client requests Android 2.2 or above system.
2.2 Get software
iPhone users: Can search and install Fseye in the app store
Android users: Can search and install Fseye in the google play

3. Software operating instruction
Create account
User Name: To login (Please use letters or numbers,
do not support Chinese name)
Password: Login password (More than 6 digits）
Confirm Password: Input password again
Email: Please fill in encrypted password accurately to
reset password

3.1 Login interface introduction
After install successfully, click software icon on the mobilephone, then the software will be
running and start procedure to enter into login interface, as shown in the below figure:

Create an account to be stored our users information and relevant device list in the cloud storage.
In the login menu, click Create account button, it will link to registration preview:

Retrieve password
1. Input user name
2. Click Retrieve Password, the system will
send a URL to the specified mailbox to reset
password, then reset password according to
prompt
Click Retrieve Password button in the login interface, then it will link to Retrieve Password
interface:

3.2 WIFI Configuration
Open the Fseye client, in the login interface（figure 3.2a），click “WIFI Setting”button, then it will jump to
"search WIFI" interface（figure 3.2b）; Click the device that needs the WIFI configuration, then it will jump to
"WIFI Setting" interface（figure 3.2c）, choose the WIFI name that needs to be configured（figure 3.2d）, input
the password of configured WIFI, and click "ok", then it successfully configures(figure 3.2 c);Log in mobile
client, click button in the device list, then it will jump to "add device" interface（figure 3.2f）, click "search"
button, search the device that has configured WIFI（figure 3.2 g）; Click this device, then it will jump to "add
device" interface（figure 3.2h）, the device name can be modified, input the login password of this device
（Device no input without password）, then click"ok"to connect the device（figure 3.2 i）（Note: Can't search the
device that does not support WIFI function）

3.3 Device list management
After enter into main menu interface, click Device list to enter into management interface.

Add device
Connection mode：There are serial number and IP/Domain direct connection two methods. The
Name: That is monitoring device name, it can help user identify device location, suggest user
Serial number: Device cloud connects the only serial number, which can be obtained via the
User name: That is user name of front-end device, default is admin
Password:Password of front-end matches with it's user name, default is blank
Modify and delete device
Connection parameter: Can modify the name and connection parameters, such as ID, user
Delete device: Long press the device, then it will prompt delete button, click OK to delete device
Click Add icon in the upper right corner to enter into Add Device interface(Figure 3.3 b), it
can be manually added connection parameters of device or click Search button to search and
add devices in the LAN(Figure 3.3 c).

cloud method is to connect device via serial number, IP/Domain method is to connect
device via traditional IP address, dynamic domain nam or port. Adopt serial number to add
device for default, click upper IP/Domain to switch IP/Domain method (Note:When selecting
IP/Domain mode to add device, if it fills the intranet IP address in the IP item（eg: begin
with192.168.*.*）, it can only connect the preview in LAN, it will fail to connect the preview
while using the outer net. Need to monitor connected through the network,and must use
the serial number or domain name to add device)
give a name for the device according to the place name, then the name will be displayed
under the device icon and shown on the title during playback the video
device label attached or LAN searching, click the QR code icon on the right side to
scan input
After complete settings, click OK, then it will be automatically pre-connected to check device
information whether be correct or not. If it is correct, it will return to the Device list automatically,
or it will prompt error message that you have to confirm and add again.

3.4 LIVE view
Click device icon in the device list to enter into LIVE View interface, as shown in the below figure:

Double-click to zoom the screen, can be full-screen playback via landscape, and slide through the screen
to switch channel group and function menu.

3.5 Preset/Cruise Setting
Preset setting：Firstly, turn the camera to the needed position by the direction button that PTZ controls,
Then select a preset number in the "preset"drop-down list, click add button at last;
Preset call: Select a preset number that needs to be called in the "preset"drop-down list, then click
button to call, as shown in figure: 3.4 d.
Cruise setting: Cruise Settings interface as shown in figure 3.5.
1. Cruise route: Can set the cruise route, can set
at most 8 cruise route.
2. Cruise preset point: Can choose to add for the
0~255 cruise preset.
3. Time interval: Can choose to set the time
interval 1~255S.
4. Cruise speed: Can choose to set the PTZ cruise
speed 1~7 tap position.
5. Add preset point: Choose the preset that needs
to be added, can click button to add.
6. Delete preset: Choose the preset that needs to
be deleted, can click button to delete.
7. Delete cruise route: Choose the cruise route
that needs to be deleted, can click
button to delete.
8. Start cruise: After finished the above Settings，
click button, the device start to cruise.
9. Stop cruise: Click button, then the
device stop cruise.

3.6 Remote playback
Mobilephone client can access device remotely, call the record files stored in the hardware. The device
with storage function can realize remote playback.
Select the playback window in the LIVE View interface, click the playback icon to enter into
playback interface, the current record for default.

Enable alarm: Click configuration icon to enter into Alarm Setting interface in the LIVE
Alarm notification: Set up defense and enable alert notification, when the device give a alarm,

View interface. Select to enable alarm channel in the alarm configuration, click Alarm
notification, then click Save, when prompted device modified successfully, the configuration will
take effect

it will send alarm information to server, then the alarm information will be sent to mobilephone
client via server,and the client will prompt via alert notification, as shown in the above figure 3.7 b
3.8 Image browsing
Click icon or in the LIVE View interface, the generated images will directly store in the
mobilephone, can be viewed from the menu to enter into local video or local albums.

Edit and Delete:
Click the Edit icon in the upper right corner, then the list can be edited and selected,

Can query software version information.
3.10 Logout
Click logout to exit from the current account to login, and return to login interface.
3.11 Language switch
The language of mobilephone software is in accord with the language of mobilephone operation system,
When the mobilephone operation system change the language, mobilephone software will also change its
language. For example, when the language of mobilephone operation system is changed into English, then the
language of mobilephone software will also be changed into English.
