Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase of an X-mini™ product. The X-mini™ MAX II
Capsule Speaker™ comes with vastly improved features while retaining the best
characteristics of the stereo X-mini™ MAX. Introducing a larger 40mm driver, the
X-mini™ MAX II projects richer and crisper sounds resulting in a greater user
experience from its innovative directional capsule design. Be it for individual or
group entertainment, the X-mini™ MAX II is designed to meet the requirements
of even the most demanding music enthusiasts.
Safety Rules
1) Please follow the rules depicted in this manual closely to ensure your safety. Before
using the speaker, we would strongly encourage you to read through this user manual.
2) Be wary of any edges, uneven surfaces, metal parts, accessories and its packaging so as
to prevent any possible injury or damage.
3) Keep this speaker out of reach of children. Take note that this speaker is not edible and
should not be placed in your mouth.
4) Do not modify, repair or dismantle the speaker. Doing so may result in fires, electric
shocks, complete breakdown of the speaker, etc. All of which, are not covered under
warranty.
5) Do not use any diluents or volatile liquid to clean the speaker. Keep in mind that the
surface of the speaker should only be wiped with a clean dry cloth.
6) Do not use this speaker in locations where there are high-temperatures or high
humidity levels (For instance, bathrooms); ideally, the speaker should be used in a
location free of dust and exposure to direct sunlight.
7) Do not insert foreign objects, such as pins, into this speaker.
8) Do not touch this speaker when your hands are wet as this may result in electric
shocks.
9) Turn down the volume before/while using this speaker as sudden loud sounds may
damage it.
10) Refrain from dropping the speaker as well as avoid any collision with other objects.
11) Do not use this speaker when in hazardous locations.
12) Should any abnormal situations or problems occur while using the speaker,
discontinue use of speaker immediately.

Buddy-Jack™
This all new feature enables you to connect one X-mini™ MAX II to
another, to form a self-powered, bass-enhanced portable speaker
system with a virtually endless ‘‘daisy chain’’ of speakers. With this
feature, you can now combine your X-mini™ MAX II together with your
friends’. You may also connect previous generations of X-minis™ or
even earphones into the ‘‘Buddy-Jack’’ to expand on volume or multifunctionality
Connect another 2 pairs of X-mini™ MAX II into the
Buddy-Jack™ to create jaw-dropping audio!
Mode of Usage
CAPSULE MODE
The X-mini™ MAX II speakers can be
connected at the bottom by a magnetic
base to form the Capsule Mode for easy
storage and increased portability.
SPEAKER MODE
Separate the speakers from each other by
gently pulling each speaker apart from the
Capsule Mode.
Hold onto the top of the speaker
and twist anti-clockwise to reveal the
resonator.

Connect part 1 to 2 (mini-USB plug connects to CHARGE/AUDIO port
located on the side of X-mini MAX II Capsule Speaker)

Charging
When the blue LED indicator dims, please connect part 4 to any USB
port located on your computer to charge your speakers.

F.A.Q
1. Why is there no power even when speaker is turned on?
Ans: Ensure that the battery has been charged for up to 4 hours. The LED will
turn red when it is charging. Please set the volume level of your music player to
60-70% of its maximum volume for optimal performance.
2. There is no sound when playing music!
Ans: Check to see if the volume is adjusted too low. If it is too low, turn it up.
Make sure that the 3.5mm stereo plug is properly connected.
3. The bass production is missing.
Ans: The vacuum below might be punctured. If so, please check warranty
coverage.
4. Is this a USB audio device?
Ans: No, this is not an USB audio device. The USB plug is only for charging. Use
the 3.5mm stereo plug for audio inputs.
5. How do I know that the speaker has been fully charged?
Ans: When the indicator LED turns to blue from red, the speaker has been fully
charged.
Limited Warranty
1) If within 12 months of purchase this device or any part thereof is proven to
be defective by reason of faulty workmanship or defects in materials, we will
at our option repair or replace the same free of charge of labor or materials
on condition that:
• The original invoice or sales receipt with the date of purchase, or stamp
from the dealer is presented together with the defective unit.
2) The warranty does not cover Product failures which have been caused by use
of accessories other peripheral devices which are not X-mini™ branded
original accessories intended for use with the Product.
3) The warranty does not cover Product failures caused by:
• Modification, repair, and disassembly by any person who is not authorized
by the manufacturer.
• Any defective unit or part shall become property of the manufacturer. The
warranty does not cover any damage caused by dropping or hitting of the
product or misuse or neglect of the product.
